While I enjoyed Abandoned by Love, the first book in this series, I think I prefer this one of the two. Jaxon and Emily seemed more relatable to me, and I loved that they were able to overcome their challenges. There was an element of danger, some suspense and a lot more love this time around. I look forward to reading more by this author.
Emily started a blog to help with her new life in a wheelchair. While she is enjoying writing she soon gets a stalker named Andre. This is dangerous for all involved and brings Emily and Jaxon even closer. The stalker doesn’t want her with Jaxon but his actions are making their love stronger.” Our love is like titanium. Unbreakable and the most sensational feeling in the world.” I do not want to give to much away since this story is on the short side, but I will say it is a must read. I was on edge waiting to find out what happens with Scott and the stalker , and also what happens between Jaxon and Emily. This book has everything that makes a great story to me, it had romance, strong emotions, drama and a little suspense . I am telling you, you will regret not reading this duet.
This is book 2 in the series, and you really need to read this series in order or you will be lost. This one starts out with Jaxon wondering what Emily is going to say to him. The love these two have for each other can not be denied, and for as young as they are, it is really astounding. It’s amazing that they can go through the tragedy that happened to Emily, and still be so connected and in love – especially given their ages. I enjoyed the story, but some parts of it, I’m not sure I understand why they were there – especially the stuff about Scotty. Not sure how that added to the storyline, other than he is the one who found Jax and Emily’s stalker. I understand the stalker part, because honestly it could happen to any one who is online these days. The lesson or moral I took from this is that Love conquers all, and the love really can change your life for the better. This is a quick read, and these were the first works I’ve read by this author, but I intend to read some others soon. So glad Jaxon and Emily get their HEA, but dang, I would have liked to have read about the “real” wedding!
I hate to give this low of a rating but this book was just to much of the sickly sweet for me. I get that they’ve been reunited and are all in love again but they seriously wanted me to throw up. It was just to much for me. Oh and i was expecting more with the stalker.. It just seemed too easy and no suspense at all. It was great to see Jaxon and Emily in love and things falling into place for them though. Oh and I’m not sure why the concern with Scotty was so high. I get that he was acting shady and Jaxon was being a concerned friend but was it truly necessary to the story.
The conclusion of Jaxon and Emily’s story. It wasn’t as good as the first one, but still worth reading. A little all over the place at times, and it didn’t seem to flow as nicely as the first one. Still a pretty decent book.
Such an amazing ending to Jaxon and Emily’s story!
A perfect ending to this couples story. I really enjoyed this whole duet so much. This book was just as good as the first one and I wasn’t disappointed in the least whilst reading it. I was anxiously waiting to see what happened next. A very enjoyable story.
I don’t know that this was worse than book 1, but sure wasn’t any better. Jax and Emily are back together, but this book drags at times, rushes at times, kinda all over. Again reads like a YA story and not all that interesting. Not so good
Good conclusion to a wonderful story.
3.5 Stars
I was really hoping for so much more in this one, but it kinda felt “fluffy”. There was so much that was left unanswered for me, situations that didn’t make sense in the first book but I was hoping they would become clear in this one. I liked the ending, how truelove endures through the most tragic happenings, I enjoyed the plot twist and mini-mystery going on and I liked how real Emily feelings and emotions are.
loved this book, this is the 2nd in the series and it doesnt disappoint at all. you will love it if you liked the 1st one.
This is book 2 in the Shattered Heart Duet. You mist read book 1, Abandoned by love, because this book starts where book 1 left off with Jax waiting for Emilys answer. This is a fast read but gives you the happily ever after ending you want. This book had a great love story and a little mystery.
This is the HEA conclusion to book 1, nicely done but it could have been wrapped up in one book rather than 2. I was happy to finish Emily and Jaxson’s story and glad they found their happily ever after.
I wanted to see how Emily and Jax got their HEA but I just couldn’t get into their story. I still didn’t care for Emily. She was just not a heroine I liked at all.
This book was great. The way to author made you feel what they were both going through was spot on.How they where able to deal with all the things in their way and still come out stronger for it, was amazing. I enjoyed the way they dealt with situation and how when things got tough they still bounced back..Kind of wanted more , didn’t want it to end.
This the conclusion to the first book. I felt like the author could have done a better job with this story but overall it was a good book. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Reunited with Love is the conclusion in the Shattered Hearts Duet. Must read this series in order to follow the story. I thought the story was okay, but too many things going on at once, learning to live with a disablility, young love and a stalker. I felt it was rushed at times. I will say that Jaxson and Emily truly loved one another.
The conclusion to Jax & Emily’s story will take you through a emotional roller coaster! Their story is sweet & some mystery to it!
Young love, overcoming obstacles, thwarting a stalker… While this book had all the elements to be a great book, I found it to be just mediocre. Jaxson was way too sappy for his age. I’m not saying this book isn’t worth the read, I do, however, believe it’s geared more toward the YA genre. I would read other books from this author though.
4 Stars for Reunited by Love by Aleya Michelle. This is the final book in the Shattered Hearts duet.
In this book we discover what the love between Jaxon and Emily is truly made off.
I love the way this author brought the story to a close. You are a reader are not left with any questions. I didn’t like the cover of this book , just like ai wasn’t a fan of the cover on the first. While the image is great , it just doesn’t covey what the story is about to me. O well , you cant judge a book by the cover right.
