Not researched enough
Pass on this series. The author has not researched as well as flushed out the story line enough. Emily and Jax do reunite and love is there. However, the in consistencies in knowledge of baseball and life as a paraplegic is shocking. The chapters are rough and not smooth. I had to stop reading at 75% since I could not handle how poorly it was written.
This book is worse than the first one. I thought it might get better but no. A few of the problems… There’s no way a kid playing ball would be coaching or going to training conferences. There are assistant coaches for that. The h daydreamed of a magical weekend together before it happened. It kind of got exciting with the stalker but it was not really written well. I’m sorry but I think the author needs some honest alpha or beta reader to help.
This is the second book of the shattered hearts duet.
Emily and Jaxon have been thru heartache, Emily is left in a wheelchair after a car accident, but she is strong and overcomes her difficulties, she takes Jax back n they then have to deal with a phsyco stalker.
With the help of a friend they catch the stalker..
It ends in a HEA
Perfect Ending. I absolutely loved this storyline. Two people fate brought back together. Have them difficult challenges at every move but both of them came out a better person in the end. I absolutely loved the chemistry between these two. You can definitely see they deserve a future together. Love the suspense in this one regarding her blogger friend. Loved the little twist. Enjoyable well written . Definitely want to read more from this writer.
This is mostly the “happily ever after” part of the story. There is some stalking drama and jealousy, but mostly feeling good stuff. I would have liked it if the author had gone a bit more into some of the physical issues a paraplegic woman may face, but that is just my opinion. I really liked the story.
