Fun and entertaining awesome characters
I loved being able to meet up with “old friends” again. This author writes eloquently about the Low Country. When reading I can feel the salt breezes even smell the plough (sp) mud. Lived on the coast of Georgia so appreciate this accurate account of life there. Frank’s books have me eager to return, despite the mosquitoes and gnats. She is one of …
I love the stories she tells. A really good book.
A great read
This author writes great stories about woman who have been knocked down but not out. She does it in a thoughtful, funny and loving way. It’s worth the read!!
Quick light read
From the moment I began reading Sullivan’s Island many years ago, Dorothea Benton Frank instantly became one of my favorite authors. Reading her books take you away to the low country & hot sultry days on the beach. I love rereading her books.
Evety book about the low country makes me want to read another. This one was just great, delightful characters, witty and just plain addictive.
Always enjoy reading Dorothea Benton Frank and look forward to any of her books.

I enjoy all her books.
This author writes about real places and real folks (of course the names are changed) who face the same dilemmas we all do and come thru with a stronger family code and plenty of southern comfort. I really like Ms. Frank and her “gang” of families. ON flying into Savannah/Hilton Head airport a couple of years ago my seat mate said he was headed …
