What do you do when a wolf is chasing you? Your first instinct is to run, but this isn’t your typical wolf. It’s my husband. I’ll have to do more than run but don’t worry, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. I’ll need them, because it’s clear he has some of his own. How else does someone end up married and never remember saying I do?When I got my twin sister to pretend to be me, I thought I got a … thought I got a head start on the running part. I should have known that my new husband Victor Wolf wouldn’t be far behind. Maybe some part of me did know.
I’m afraid all I’ve done in trying to get away from him is whet his appetite for me more. . . And maybe this time, I want him to catch me.

Well I’m a bit lost and confused after reading this one.
At the end of reading this one, I’m still left wondering how the heck was he able to marry her without her consent? Just because she signs a license??? But even with this, I’m not sure how that happens because in this book book and in the second (which is about her twin and boss) she always described as competent and thorough.
The beginning of this book feels like I should’ve maybe read a book before this. The author literally just drops readers right in.
Even once I finally got and started to understand what was going on in this story, I didn’t really like Mackenzie. I’m still not 100% sold on her reasoning for acting like an ice queen, yet her sister is so sugary sweet she gives you a toothache.
Wolfe is an Alpha male but he also is head over heels in love with his wife. Everything and I mean everything he could possibly do to make her his number one priority is a given. Some may call it stalking but I call it love.
Mackenzie is on the run from her husband. How he’s her husband is another dilemma altogether. There was no ceremony, no engagement. But suddenly she finds herself answering to wife. Okay our lead may have slipped a certificate into paperwork she was signing but what else could he do? She’s the one, now he just needs to pin her down and convince her.
Get ready to be hunted, this Wolfe has his prey in his sight.
Mackenzie convinces her twin to pretend she is her so she can get the heck out of town. Somehow she ended up married to Victor Wolfe and she wants to keep far away from the infuriating man who seems to think she is his.
Victor knows immediately Mackenzie is going to run, he plans to chase after her. When Victor finds her he realizes he needs to gain her trust in order to keep his wife safely by his side. Of course he knows he was sneaky about the marriage but he knows her past and he knows she would bolt regardless of how he tried to win her hand.
This was a lot of fun. Victor is calculating when it comes to Mackenzie and he lets her come to terms about them but he does nudge her a bit. I thought he treated her like spun glass, he knows she is a hard headed woman but he also knows she needs a tenderness he would never show another. Great read.
I’ve read books by this author before and I really enjoy them.
I really like this author writing style and this book is a good read. This book is part of a series The To Me series.
Book #1= Return to me.
Book #2= Belong to me.
Mackenzie and Madison are twins and Mackenzie convinces her sister to switch places with her, no one will know she says.
Mackenzie has married Victor and is not sure totally how this has happened. She decides to go and hide out in the hopes that her annulment might come through quickly. Only Victor loves his wife and is not willing to let her go.
Can these two put there differences aside and work things out?
Or will running forever be her best bet?
(NO SPOILERS)
This book is a real quick romance read a total instalove and is quite hot to. Victor is a real alpha male and knows what he wants. I can’t wait to read the story of her sister.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.
ARC provided in exchange for an honest review.
This book is out now.
I loved this story. There were plenty of feels but mostly I laughed. I found the story and the characters very entertaining. The characters were interesting and relatable.
Mackenzie is married, but not sure how it happened and she is on the run. She is running from her husband while trying to figure out the marriage situation. Mackenzie’s new husband is Victor Wolf and like the wolf, he is chasing her down. She will need everything she can think of to try to outrun him. Victor has some serious tricks to track her down and will be right behind Mackenzie. But maybe, just maybe, she wants Victor to catch her.
I loved that Victor knew as soon as he saw Madison that she wasn’t Mackenzie even though they are twins. Mackenzie trying to relax was too funny. Victor wanting to take care of Mackenzie was so sweet. I loved their happy ever after. This book made me smile and it will make you smile too. I recommend reading this book.
We get Mackenzie’s story in this mistaken identity duet. Her and Victor are hot, hot, hot. There’s a reason his last name is Wolf and once he set his eyes on Mackenzie, there was no turning back for him. This was instalove and so instahot. I read this yummy, wonderful, deliciously naughty love story in one sitting. Loved this duet about the sisters and I can’t wait to read more by Lucy Darling.

Victor and Mackenzie kept us on our toes! I loved these “twin” stories. Mackenzie is so busy she signs things without reading them over. Victor took advantage of this and the chase is on. Sweet and steamy.
Beautiful read!!!
Mackenzie is hiding from Victor Wolf, because she thinks he just wants to control her. Victor is trying to prove to her that nothing could be further from the truth. He loves her and just wants to take care of her. Plus she really has no where to run to considering they are married…lol. This Wolf will hunt her done and his only thought is he wants his wife to willingly return to him!!! Beautiful story and I highly recommend it!
For all that Madison’s story was all sweetness, Mackenzie’s story is all about her feisty nature. That nature is what really attracted Victor and he will stop at nothing to get her into his arms for good. Mackenzie tries to keep him from getting close but he refuses to let her get away. I loved the chase she put him through, it made their happy ending that much more satisfying. Lucy Darling is a new to me author discovery this year and I am so over the moon happy that I did!
I liked how strong Mackenzie was but I am glad that in the end she is able to see that Victor just wants to protect her and not control her. I liked that Victor wanted to be there with Mackenzie and he chased her but also gave her room to figure out that she wanted to be with him. They had such great chemistry and I really enjoyed their story.
I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
