Because Tristan wants to go back home, Ella comes back in his life, while these two are back in each other lives, they now have someone trying to kill them. Nana Malone and her books get better and better. I absolutely loved this book. It had mystery, romance, twists, intrigue and really good heat. If you have not read any books by Nana Malone, I suggest you start.
4.5 Royal Elite Stars!
What a great and exciting start to Malone’s new duet! I have been waiting for Ariel’s story and this forbidden romance with Tristan was everything I crave. It was witty, thrilling, mysterious and had lots of sexual tension! Sebastian has persuaded Ariel to protect his cousin Tristan, not knowing their history. Tristan and Ariel were young lovers who made life plans together. When misunderstandings happen, they are separated with broken hearts. They moved on with their lives but never forgot the other. Now Tristan’s life is in danger and Ariel and her team are the only ones who can protect him. Their long buried feelings come back to life but circumstances make it impossible to act on. When Tristan puts his secret plans in motion to return to the Winston Isles, all their lives could be in danger. The twists and turns that this story takes is thrilling and breathtaking. I loved that all the family and friends we’ve grown to love from the past stories are all involved and essential in this book along with new intriguing members of the Royal Elite that I need to know more about. There was still the wonderful humor that Ms Malone does so well, along with intrigue and emotion that kept me totally engaged. I can’t wait to find out what happens in the next book!
Total 4.5 star read!! Wow!! Nana Malone has finally started to give us Ariel and Tristan’s story, and what a story it is!! I need more ASAP!! Return of the Prince is a wonderful read filled with twists and turns, suspense, laughter, witty dialogue, and extremely memorable and lovable characters. Everything is definitely not what it seems in this one, and I enjoyed every single second of this first installment of Ariel and Tristan’s story. And yes, I loved the fact that the other characters that I have come to love so much are interspersed throughout this one too.
Ariel, as you know, if you have been reading about the Royals since the beginning, is Queen Penny’s best friend, and after leaving the Royal Guard has set up her own security business, Royal Elite. Ariel is a brilliant and gorgeous woman, who also is extremely independent, but who also longs for the one person that she was never supposed to have…Prince Tristan, the international soccer star and the cousin of King Sebastian. The two young lovers had a fleeting summer romance when they were teenagers and planned for more. However, these young star-crossed lovers never had the chance to really enjoy their love affair or see where it would lead thanks to outside forces unbeknownst to them, and because of that each one of them holds a serious grudge against the other. Yet, forces trying to either kill the Prince or his fiancee, have thrown these two back into each other orbit, and oh boy, do the fireworks explode. You can feel the chemistry between these two jumping off the pages, although they try to deny it.
In Return of the Prince, Nana Malone’s wonderful storytelling skills takes us on a roller coaster of a journey like no other. I did not want to get off this ride, and especially not after being hit with that cliffhanger of an ending in this one. Let me just say that after reading this one, I am more than ready for To Love A Prince!!
Return of the Prince, Book 1 was written by Nana Malone. This book is the long awaited story of Tristan and Ariel They met long ago when they were young. One hot summer, they fell in love and was going to run away together. But something happen and Tristan left but there is more to the story. He was expecting her but once he seen her everything came rushing back and he walked right up to her and kissed her. But Ariel was hurt by him and she is not so willing to be hurt again. But the attraction is still there. But the past still holds both of them back. Still so many secrets, the plot thickens. Who wants him dead, especially now that he finally decided he wanted to be home no matter what. The book holds you captivated from beginning to end, the mystery and suspense has my mind going a million miles an hour. I need to know what happen, what caused him to run. The council members daughter is missing, where is she. When Tristan and Ariel finally given in to passion is to total fire, burning up the sheets. I need book 2 asap. I have to know what happens. OMG!!!! What a start to The Prince Duet. In my opinion this is one of the best books Nana Malone has written as a start to a series. You get some returning characters which is always fun for me. I have been waiting for Ariel’s story since Cheeky Prince, it’s been a long wait, but in my opinion well worth the wait. As I was reading I kind of figured figured one thing out, who was behind their split. I think I figured who is behind trying to kill Tristian, and I thing I know who’s doing it. Nana Malone gives you suspense, royal intrigue, and a slow build up to love. In my opinion Nana Malone did a good job of making you feel the struggle both Ariel and Tristian were dealing with. In my opinion Tristian is not likable the first 70% of the book, he really frustrated me. In the last 30% of book everything is revealed and Tristian redeems himself. The end is a big fat cliffhanger but I don’t think it will be long for To Love a Prince. If you have read the other royal stories, I think you will love this book. If you are a Nana Malone fan, in my opinion she does not disappoint. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader’s copy.

Nana Malone is one of my writer idols!! Anything she writes about a prince is an automatic #1click for me. Suspenseful, sexy, funny—Return of the Prince is everything you could want for your Kindle!!!
Well so far this book is really good. Since this is part of a duet, I will have to wait until part two comes out to get a resolution. One thing I really like about this book, and the author’s writing, is all of the suspense and intrigue wrapped up in the romance. In addition, there are so many emotions rolling all around these pages. And it seems like there’s more than one thing going on, instead of there just being one main plot. That is an aspect I’m really enjoying because the author keeps me guessing.
Ariel and Tristan are the main characters. He is a Prince and in addition to Ariel owning her own security firm, she works for the king as well. Ariel and Tristan have a past and haven’t seen each other for 10 years. And when they finally come face-to-face, it is not a happy moment. There is a story here which I cannot tell you about without spoilers. The romance, between Ariel and Tristan, unfolds slowly and will have you wondering who was in the wrong. I have to admit, that it was difficult to like Tristan for most of this half of the duet. He seemed to be a good person, and obviously has a good heart, but it’s also obvious that he doesn’t make the right choices. He frustrated me too often. He was hot and cold and I didn’t like how he was treating Ariel. However, he redeems himself worthy of my admiration in the last pages. There is a cliffhanger so be patient, Book two in the duet is expected to release soon after. I can’t wait.
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it
Addictive from the get go!
Ariel finally gets her story in Return of the Prince! Ariel is kicking @ss with the Royale Elite! She is on top of the world, and then she gets the one assignment that will test her will more than any other ever has.
Prince Tristan has been exiled from the Winston Isles thanks to his dear, terrible, homicidal brother. When he finally returns to the islands, the one woman that he left behind still has the power to bring him down.
Suspense is plentiful in this sexy and romantic story!
I read an ARC and willingly left this honest review.
What a great start to The Prince Duet!
We return to the Winston Isles for Ariel and Tristan’s story. We get a peek at their story & see characters from previous books. I have been anxiously awaiting Ariel’s book and Nana Malone did not disappoint!!! I loved Atiel and Tristan’s back and forth, witty banter, their obvious chemistry. The plot is unique and kept my attention rapt! The is mystery, intrigue, twist and turns, angst, and super dreamy and steamy moments! I loved every minute of it!!! I won’t run it by going into detail. just know that this is a must-read, especially if you’ve read any of the other books about the royals.
Thank Nana you for delivering a great read that will stick with me for some time to come!

Finally!!! Ariel gets her story and OMG it is good. This first of two books in the Prince Duet is full of intrigue, suspense, laughter and frustration. I felt many emotions reading this book and I may have wanted to throw my kindle a few times. One thing I know for sure is that Ariel and Tristian are quite the pair!! Both have issues in their own lives and then there are the issues they have with each other. Its complicated and intense and I will need to read book two to hopefully figure it all out. I have to send a shout out to Penny also in this book. She is such a strong women and character in the story and I loved her as Ariel’s best friend. We could all use a Penny in our lives. Definitely recommend this series so far if you love Royals and their crazy lives. Bring on the next book!!!
A friendly warning from true experience. Do not, I mean absolutely do not start Return of the Prince if you don’t have enough time to finish it in one setting. Because you will lose your mind. This is some seriously addictive writing by Nana Malone. I was turning pages like crazy because I just had to know what is happening next in Ariel and Tristan’s life. And then she left me with that massive cliffhanger. I need answers. I am so high and lost in the story.
Can we take a minute to pay respect to Ariel? I have a disturbing crush on this woman. A woman with lethal combination of beauty, brain and strength is my ending. And Nana Malone did a fabulous job with this sassy, sweet, emotional and badass girl. And then she gave us Tristan. Good lord can a man be any more perfect? I am not even talking about his muscles. It is his big as a sky heart. I melted in spot when the possessive protective Tristan came out to play. They have some terribly complicated history but Tristan is in danger and Ariel can’t let him die. Duty calls. Heart breaks. Chaos ensues. Moves has been set but who will win the game?
Nana Malone has a flair for writing romance books with a significant thriller component. She has this really unique way of story telling. She is expert in creating vibrant chemistry which Tristan and Ariel have in spades. I cheered for them, I cursed, I cried, I smiled, I rejoiced and I connected. She can incorporate smart ass humor so smoothly. I was laughing out loud and chuckling while reading the conversations between Tristan and Ariel. I was chewing my nails and tapping my foot in the tense dangerous scenes. I was swooning hard with the story of starcrossed lovers with second chance. This is really the complete package. A straight up full on entertainer. I am raking my head for theories about what may happen next. But I know Nana Malone will surprise me. And Winston Isles has just become a lot more intriguing place to be!
You will love Return of the Prince irrespective of what your favorite trope is. The deceptive showbiz. The royal conspiracy. A breathtaking heart-rending absolutely stunning love story in middle of all the chaos. And all this goodness wrapped with Nana Malone’s sharp intoxicating writing. Simply a story you cannot miss.
Received ARC for Honest Review
This was such a great story! I was happy that we finally get to read Ariel’s story. I just love how badass Ariel is, and yet still has a soft side that’s rarely shown. This whole situation is very interesting and I cannot wait to find out when happens in the conclusion.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.
They said I’d never come home again…they were wrong. there is one person worth returning home for. Her. One little problem. She hates me. She should, I left her behind. Now I’m back and with a score to settle, and I will do what ever it takes to win her back. Even it if means spilling me secrets.
Return of the Prince is the first book in The Prince Duet from Nana Malone. This is the story of Ariel who we met in the Cheeky Prince, and Tristian. This book is filled with mysteries and will have you guessing through the entire thing. Of course your going to have to wait for the second book to find out if you are right. I loved these characters and as always Nana Malone has written an amazing book that kept me very engrossed and not able to put it down. I can not wait for the next book to find out what happens. This is a book that you do not want to miss.
I swear every duet of Nana Malone’s is better than the last! Ariel /finally/ gets her own book! YAY! I feel like we’ve been waiting for this one fooooorever, but it was so worth the wait! Return of the Prince has everything you have come to know and love from Nana Malone! FIVE STARS!!
Return of the Prince by Nana Malone is the first book in her most revent duet, The Prince Duet. Nana has rapidly become a must-read author for me and I just can’t get enough of these royals. And, in this duet, we finally, FINALLY, get Ariel’s story!
Ariel put love in her rearview mirror ten years ago when she fell for a prince and got her heart crushed. Of course, she didn’t have all the facts. But that did not matter – gone is gone – left behind is left behind. Now she has her Royal Elite security agency to keep her time filled and her heart happy. Except now Tristan is back in the picture, back on the Winston Isles, and back in her life, just not in a way that makes either of them happy.
With a cliffhanger ending, this dual POV is hot, emotional, angsty, and a little bit dangerous. I am sooo excited for the next book, To Love a Prince! Enjoy!
I gave this book five stars because it was fabulous. Ariel and Tristian were perfect together. I loved everything about the book. I wonder what Ariel and Penny have up their sleeves. I am so excited about the next book. Good job as always Nana!
Holy Batman! I have been waiting for Ariel and Prince Tristan’s story and it was so worth the wait. It lived up to all my expectations. Ariel is my kind of bada$$ woman but she has a marshmallow inside of her that she constantly fights not to let out and as strange as that sound it makes me love her even more. Out of all of the royal characters from all of the books I have always been drawn to Ariel. Tristian is hiding something really horrific that happened to him as a child. I’m not sure what it is but I really home that it’s not what I think it is. He’s got need Ariel to love him even more and trust her love for him. I’m so over the top excited for the conclusion. Nana you are a bada$$ storyteller.
Ariel has always been there for her friends so it is about time she got her own story and of course it is full of deception, lies, laughter and near death experiences! There is a lot of history between Ariel and Prince Tristan and neither got past their young love but the last thing Ariel wanted was to see him but yeah now she is stuck with him and that is causing a whole lotta drama. You will not put this book down wants you start and yeah you will let out a frustrated sigh when it finishes but you should be use to it by now and at least there isn’t too long to wait for the next book.
We finally get Ariel’s story and insights into her “no one knew about her past” relationship with Prince Tristan! Before Ariel ever became a Royal Guard protecting the royal family of the Winston Isles, she fell for Prince Tristan, who back then, was an up and coming soccer star. Unknown circumstances broke both of their hearts, and now several years later, they are forced back into each other’s lives, resurfacing all the pain and heartbreak.
There have been several attempts on Tristan and his fiancee’s lives, so his cousin, King Sebastian is trying to provide additional protection. When Sebastian asks Ariel to assume the lead on protection, his wife and her best friend, Queen Penny, notices her uncharacteristic reluctance to take on the job. Ariel finally admits her longstanding feelings about Tristan, and the fact that she must move on since he is engaged. The story is told from a dual point of view so the reader is privy to the strong feelings each still harbors for the other, but neither can forget the hurt caused by rejection so many years ago.
Nana Malone always does a fantastic job with her characters, giving them the proper time to flesh out their feelings before the sexy ignition fires up! There’s still a lot of intrigue surrounding Tristan and Sebastian’s families which is left open ended in this book. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
