MY HEART WANTS A KIND OF JUSTICE THE LAW CAN’T GIVE
On a dark, rainy night I drove my overstuffed junker car back to a town I never expected to see again.
And when I needed a rescue by the side of the road, a six-foot tall piece of hot, unfinished business named Mark was what the universe sent me.
Three years earlier I’d fled town (and Mark) to follow my wrongly-convicted father to his federal … wrongly-convicted father to his federal prison, working crappy jobs to stay afloat and visit him every second I could. But now Dad’s dead and I’m mysteriously offered the best job of my life at the college where his life blew up when he was accused of a crime he didn’t commit.
Someone wants me here. Desperately.
I’m hoping it’s Mark.
Because if it’s not, I’m in more danger than I ever imagined.
And if it is?
Mark may be the most dangerous choice of all.
RETURN is book 1 in the Coming Home romantic suspense trilogy by Meli Raine.

The only thing bad is there is no ending, you have to read all of the books in the series, I do not like reading books that leave you hanging.
It seemed choppy and at some points to descriptive.
Haunting because of what the main character lived with for a number of years, with questions. The person who arrested her Dad, why was it him. Didn’t their relationship mean anything?
It was ok, but isn’t one that you can’t put down, but when I got to the end and found that it dropped off so suddenly without an ending, that I had to buy one or two more books to finish the story really ticked me off!
I read all three and liked them all
It had a good start, but there was no climax or resolution. It ended in the middle of the story as a ploy to buy more books.
I really liked the story, but they left it as a cliff hanger and I really dislike when authors do that. Then I found a confirmation on my e-mail for purchasing the next book, but I DID NOT purchase it, so I was very upset and called Amazon to get it taken off my account.
Leaves you hanging
Great book!
Just very disappointed with the cliff hanger ending. I prefer a complete book that is part of a series i can get into rather than a series finale for each book that requires that get the next.
Great
I didn’t like the end you are forced to buy next two books.
But it was just a short teaser. It ends abruptly with no resolution.
I think this author needs to study up on what a good chapter is. She has taken what I would call a novella and cut it up in to approximately 8 page chapters. then ends the book (?) in the middle of a kidnapping of the main character. I like the story line (though I did find the main character a little wishy-washy). If this had actually been a full book I might have bought a second book. I have the feeling though that the second and third books would be the actually making of full book. I will not pay money for her books and actually don’t think I will read anymore of her free books. When I started to read the book, I was disappointed, as it seemed to be mostly about the heroine returning to her hometown and experiencing hard nipples and excitement whenever she ran into her former boyfriend. The book was worth sticking with, as it became more interesting as I read. Unfortunately, it was not advertised as part of a trilogy and, while I would like to find out who kidnapped her at the end of this book, I didn’t feel that it was worth the price of the next two books.
I was sad to come to the end of this book and ear to get the net one.
Liked it so well that I plan on reading the next one. Was hard to put down.
I enjoyed the story, however was very disappointed with the continuation of story in another book I had to buy. After reading second book there was no conclusion to story…another continuation, and another book to buy. Did not buy third book to read the conclusion. Evadean
