Moving on from tragedy is definitely hard and this book you have a twist that is almost unreal! I loved listening to this story of heartache and healing with all the bumps along the road. And that preview to the next book! I need it now!!
Beautifully writen, emotional and itelligent. The plot is quite original and very compelling. I FELT the character’s level of happiness and grief along with the storyline. A tearjerker and a happy read all at once.
An interesting and fast page turner….kept me up, couldn’t put it down. Enjoy.
The four stars are the best that I normally give.
Loved the setting, small town England countryside.
** spoiler alert ** This book was a fantastic heart wrenching beautiful Romance. Grace is still hurt from losing who she thinks is her one true love. She moves across the pond for work and in hopes to heal. Then she meets Drew and her world will never be the same. If you like good honest real life romance this book is it.
Congrats Kim Loraine on a beautiful book
Interesting romance with a twist
It had a good plot, but too much sexual content for my liking.
This was an easy read with several unexpected turns.

This book had me in tears in the very beginning and I was feeling all of Grace’s heartbreak over John. But slowly, piece by piece, it pieced me back together and I am so in love with Drew. I loved seeing her slowly realize that she was falling in love not with a substitute but Drew as his own person and how much she loved him! This is my first audiobook narrated by Sophie King and I really like her voice. However, I think sometimes with Grace’s voice, I think I get confused because she does seem like she takes on a bit of an accent but I still really liked it, especially being a solo narration! I can’t wait to jump into Valerie’s story next!
Grace and Drew’s love story is just as heart breaking as it is heartwarming. To fall in love again after the tragedy of losing your fiancé only to realize that he had a twin brother is a story that seems out of this world but in print kept me glued to the pages and I could not read it fast enough. A truly great story. I cannot wait to read more in this series.
Interesting book, loved it. It was a quick read, I couldn’t put it down until I finished it.
I loved that it was set in a charming English village. The characters were believable. Little to much sexual detail that really did not add to the story and I don’t consider myself a prude. Other details could have been added about the village or people.
Basic simple story nonsensical with no originality and marginal characters. A waste of time all around.
This book is just a shallow notch above pornographic. Every sentence it the book is about a lustful sex. When I ordered the book I thought I’d hear about the building restoration. The main character might just as well have been a dentist. You would have learned as much about dentistry as you actually did about architecture.
The story was thin and not terribly well written. I read (skimmed) to the end hoping fore “something” but it never really happened. After 70% of the book was finished there was the bones of what could be a cute story. This is a good book if you really feel like wasting time!
Haunting, as in the protagonist can see and converse with the ghosts who inhabit the home she wants to restore. Quick, cute and an easy read.
Easy read but predictable.
Clever story of finding love with person who looks exactly like dead fiance. Twists and turns, misunderstandings but true love wins out. Descriptions of English village setting makes one want to visit a place such as story location.
I loved it!
Storyline somewhat unrealistic but enjoyed it anyway. Enjoyed the characters.
