What’s more embarrassing than asking a man whore for help getting a boyfriend?Falling in love with said whore and knowing your feelings will never be returned.I’m a disaster when it comes to men. I don’t know how to flirt and I’ve never been kissed. All I want is for Prince Charming to come into my life. I’ll do just about anything to get him, even ask my best friend’s soon to be brother from … brother from another mother-in-law, Owen, to help me. If the playboy himself can’t teach me how to land the man of my dreams, no one can. But what happens when he’s the only man I want?
Carrie hates me. Not like ‘I don’t want to hang out with you alone’ type hate, more of a ‘I wish I never met you’ type hate. Wanna know how I know this? She’s told me several times.
I’m shocked when she asks for my help getting a boyfriend. She’s a solid eleven, my help is the last thing she needs. But since I’d do just about anything to spend time alone with her, I agree. The more I learn about Carrie, the closer we get, the further I fall. When she starts testing her new skills on other men, I realize how much I don’t want that. I want Carrie all for myself, but I’ll never be enough for someone like her. She deserves so much more than what I can give her

Another funny read, full of heart.
Owen is my favorite, and in this book we get to see a lot more depth from him. Carrie really is perfect for him, and I loved their banter. Lots of swoon and chemistry. It was nice to see Logan & Parker together in this one, too. Really lovely happy ever after, and honestly, what more could you want in a romance?? You seriously can’t go wrong with this series, and I can’t WAIT for Lucas’ story!
An amazing well written standalone in a fun series with great supporting reaccuring chatacters. This engaging storyline is entertaining and had me captivated page after page with a secret, insecurities, lessens to learn, fun playful banter, laugh out loud times, and amazing undeniable chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this incredible ARC and so happy to find a new author that I will definitely be looking for more.
Another witty, funny delightful read in the series. I had so much fun reading this laugh out loud book. The characters were amazing and with so much depth and personality, you feel like you have known them all your life. Each characters had their own unique personality and yet they all fit together and compliment each other so perfectly that you can’t but help love them all.
The story line was cute with Carrie a real estate agent and best friend of Logan, (Parkers wife) asks Owen the playboy bosshole to help her find a boyfriend. I loved them together, and the author does such an amazing job with interactions and banter between not only Carrie and Owen but all the characters, the laughter, emotions, friendships and the love that you can feel the emotions. I can’t wait to read the next book, do yourself a favor get this book and enjoy the laughter and the love.

What a great story. This is funny and warm and witty. I loved how Owen was happy helping Carrie get a boyfriend when all he wanted was her. She knew Owen had a reputation and yet she still fell for him. They both like each other but will they get over themselves and take the plunge. This is full of great characters and I love the premise. This was a must finish read, I just could not put it down. They pull you in and keep you there.

I love this Bosshole!
by Happy-Girl
Owen secretly loves Carrie, but he thinks he doesn’t deserve her because …
I won’t spoil the plot, but it’s a serious topic, and it broke my heart to see this budding love struggling so much.
Owen is one of the two Bossholes in his firm, and his best friend Parker is the other one, now engaged to Carrie’s best friend, Logan. His other best friend Lucas is the sweetheart in the firm, and Parker Logan and Lucas will stand together with Owen and will not let him lose Carrie.
Carrie is gorgeous but unsure, she’s attracted to Owen from the first moment, but then every time he jokes about sex and with sex innuendos, and that makes her uneasy, because of her shyness. And on top of all, Owen is a handsome man, so hot!
The characters are witty, the females are sassy, this is the second in a series, and I’m looking to read the first one! And the next one!
I was sad and appreciated a man with some depth, a girl with a backbone and a good love story with a HEA!

Now this is the type of rom-com that I like to read…it has humor, romance, steam and a good storyline. I loved it and I liked the good feeling I got reading it .

This was just as fun a read as the first book! Owen and Carrie have quite the chemistry together that is hot enough to melt your panties off! However, their conversations and his attempts to teach her are so fun and funny that I couldn’t help smiling my way through this romance. This was thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable!
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
Carrie has no idea how to flirt effectively with a man. She hasn’t even been kissed yet! But she’s ready to have a man of her own and realizes she needs guidance. So she thinks of the man best suited to the job because of his infinite experience – Owen. He has to be the best, being such a player. There’s only one danger, and that would be falling for HIM. But she’s sure there is no chance of that happening!
Little does Carrie know, but there is an entirely different side to Owen that he keeps inside. And that part is a really nice guy who is kind and caring and willing to give up the woman he loves so she can find the happiness she needs. He boosts her confidence and prepares her to attract men, but seeing her test her new skills is not at all what he wants. Can he watch her win another man? Or will he finally tell her how he feels about her? He might be surprised that she has fallen for him as well!
I loved this story, watching two people learn so much about each other while attempting to prepare one of them for someone else. By the time the lessons have ended, the search is over before it starts! Grab your copy and enjoy Carrie and Owen’s story of how they fell in love.
I’ve been a fan of Kristin MacQueen for a while now and I’ve pretty much loved every book of hers that I’ve read. And then I read this book, and it blew everything out of the water! This is what a romance book should be!
Not only did I realize I had a huge smile on my face for at least the first third of the book, but I was laughing hysterically some times! I loved the banter between Carrie and Owen. The chemistry between them was off the charts!
This book really bowled me over, I think, mostly due to Owen. After Logan and Parker’s book, I wasn’t expecting Owen to be who he really was. I expected the joker, flirt, and perpetual playboy. And he was those things, but he truly was so much more. He’s probably one of my top five male characters.
Owen’s secret has him basically playing a role, but his heart is endless and beautiful! Kudos to Ms. MacQueen for once again dealing with a difficult subject, doing it well, and still flipping the script!!
I also really liked Carrie and how independent she was. But Owen stole my attention with every joke and crude comment, and then with his kindness, and most of all with how he was willing to sacrifice his happiness for hers.
I’m on pins and needles waiting for Lucas and Avery’s story!!

If the title doesn’t catch your attention and make you laugh, the story line will. You’re pulled in and won’t want to stop turning the pages. The characters are fun and entertaining and easy to get to know. You’ll have some moments where you can’t help by laugh out loud as you turn the pages. A great escape for a weekend read.

Owen and his 3 friends run a multi billion dollar company and being the 3 asshole bosses, they are often referred to as the bossholes. Carrie, a real estate agent, has never had a boyfriend and asks Owen to help her. She sees Owen a lot because her best fiend is good friends with Owen but she has always assumed the worst of him and knows Owen is a cocky flirt. Owen tells her she is beautiful but needs to become more approachable and confident and less judgmental. Owen has been attracted to Carrie but knows they can never be together because he can’t give her the life she dreams of. He takes her for a makeover and buys her new clothes to boost her confidence and they become closer as they get to know each other better. Will Owen succeed in helping Carrie find a boyfriend? Will Owen reveal his secret and find happiness too?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story of acquaintances becoming so much more. The author did a fantastic job developing the characters so you felt all of their emotions, I even had tears in my eyes at one point and laughed at another part. The writing was excellent, the characters were great and I can’t wait to read about the third bosshole.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Carrie and Owen have a love hate relationship. She asks him for help to be able to get a boyfriend. He jumps on the offer and then tries to figure out how he can fill those shoes. She effects him like no other. Carrie believes she can trust him only so far. She finds out that if she just trusts her heart, everything she was looking for is actually right there in front of her.

I’d just like to start with how much I love the novel’s name. It had me chuckle from when i first saw it. Reading the novel writing itself was just even greater. I really enjoyed this novel! I definitely recommend this read.

The second installment in the Bosshole series featuring Owen and Carrie was just as great as the first book! I fell in love with all the characters from reading the first story but was very intrigued in reading Carrie and Owens story and it definitely didn’t disappoint! I read this page turner of a story in one sitting, staying up till way late just to read the very happily ever after these two characters deserved! I can’t begin to tell you how much you need this Rom com series in your life, I can’t wait for the third bosshole’s story!
Rating:
This was a fun novel. The characters were exciting and easy to imagine. They were flawed but overcame them to become better people. They were the best versions of themselves when together. The story transitioned well but there were parts which seemed a bit out of place. The side characters were exciting. I hope to read their stories soon.
The story follows Carrie and Owen. Carrie doesn’t like Owen and doesn’t try to hide it. Owen has a thing for Carrie but believes he isn’t good enough. They know each other through Logan and Parker. Logan is Carrie’s best friend and is Parker’s fiancee. Carrie has never dated anyone or kissed anyone. So she asks the biggest player she knows to help her out. Owen agrees because it means that he gets to spend time with Carrie. He doesn’t like it though once she starts using his tips on other men.

Good romance
4.5
Good romance, but the storyline is a bit predictable: What can happen when Carrie asks Owen, a player who has been flirting with her for weeks, if he can help her seduce men so she doesn’t end up alone?
The story is well written, tender, but also moving and gripping with an interesting twist towards the end.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book
Owen may have been the ultimate player, but I loved the fact that he thought Carrie was an eleven even though she thought she was a six.
Silly little tidbits like this along the way that had me thinking this read like a YA romance in a cute way.
Lots of back and forth on Owen’s part as he was the limiting factor in their relationship.

This is the second book in the Bosshole Series. This enemy to lovers romance is Carrie and Owen’s story. He’s arrogant, snarky, a total AH and often a jerk. But he’s gorgeous and a total playboy She needs some help learning to kiss and attracting a boyfriend. Who else can she turn to for help other than Owen so she enlists his help. As the lessons begin, the chemistry kicks in. Layers of personality faults and insecurities are peeled back. What happens when she decides that he’s the one she really wants. This is a cute book that was fun to read. The characters are interesting and likable. Their back and forth banter was hilarious at times. I wouldn’t have thought Carrie and Owen would be such a great couple. In enemies to lovers fashion, Carrie realizes all the teasing, joking and sarcasm from Owen is covering his insecurities. This is particularly ironic because he is asked to help her overcome the insecurities she has so she can get a guy to date her.
Owen comes off a textbook boss hole. He’s gorgeous and knows it. He’s arrogant and snarky, too. But when the layers get peeled back we see something very different and very vulnerable.
Yes, this book made me teary. That doesn’t happen often. I love how the problem ultimately gets solved – but that’s all I’m going to say about that. Enjoy the book, then wait with me for Lucas’s story.

Carrie and Owen. I really enjoy the way this author matches her characters, playing off each other, strengths and weaknesses.
