Video game coder, Harley Kelso, thought a tandem skydive would help her make her latest game more realistic. Instead, it literally put her in the arms of the sexiest man she’s ever seen. Geeky to the core, Harley is the polar opposite of big and burly Beckett, but that doesn’t stop her from wanting to play more carnal games with the sexy soldier. When Beckett “Coach” Ralston offers to fill-in at a … fill-in at a friend’s skydiving club, he doesn’t suspect he’ll meet a woman who will change his life—and he definitely doesn’t expect her to save it. But that’s exactly what happens when an accident mid-air forces Harley to land them both safely. She’s earned Coach’s complete gratitude, and even more, sexual interest…
Until she disappears without a trace.
With Harley missing, a happy ending might not be in the cards for the man who loves her—especially when he becomes the main suspect.
** Rescuing Harley is the 3rd book in the Delta Force Heroes Series. Each book is a stand-alone, with no cliffhanger endings.

I enjoy all of Susan Stokers books. Yes some of them are a bit sexually graphic but they always have a really good story which is the primary reason I read them. They hold my interest, are never dull, and have a happy ending.
Love this whole series
I really enjoy reading this author’s books. I like her ability to educate readers about interests or careers of her characters without going into so much detail that our eyes glaze over or we lose the storyline.
Loved it. I have enjoyed all if Susan Stokes books I have read. I love how each book presents with a new character study and they draw strength from old characters. Debbie Payne
Stoker is great as always.
It was a good read, kept me interested and it didn’t have the same old perfect characters. They had imperfections they were real.
The best of the series. Loved Harley’s story. Eye opening and realistic story about acceptance, survival and life with PTSD. Love this heroic character.
Wonderful book. Would recommend reading the whole series. They all are well worth reading
Harley and Coach have a wild ride
Never can go wrong with susan Stoker
great book
Just love this series…
An easy to read romance with some angst and mystery!
Starts out good. Liked the characters. The ending just fizzled out. Disappointing.
Harley is a video game programmer and a little bit of a nerd. When she gets stuck in one of her games, she decides to jump out of an airplane so she could see what it felt like and get it right in her game. Coach is in the Delta Force and is filling in at the jump company. Harley is different than the women he used to date but he is intrigued by her. When the jump goes wrong, Harley ends up saving them. After dating for a few months, Harley goes missing. Everyone searches for her but the police are only looking at Coach and not searching hard enough for Harley. Can Coach find the woman he loves or is she gone forever? Action, suspense, sexy, and romantic. An Army guy and a introvert civilian. The ending seemed a little rushed to me but still a fantastic story.
This book is the continuation of the Delta Force Series, book 3.
I LOVED this story!! Harley is such a great character. She is so realistic and spunky. Johnny Beckett/Coach is such a great character too.
This story is well paced. It flows beautifully and just can’t be put down.
Harley writes codes for video games and Coach (no his name has nothing to do with purses, like I thought) is a Delta Force Soldier. They meet at a skydiving place. There is all kinds of drama with their skydive, but it is such a great part of the story.
Their relationship is so great to read. They both have such a wonderful chemistry.
There is also drama that follows the skydive. She disappears. Did someone abduct her? Is fate working with or against them??
You so need to read this to find out!! You will NOT be sorry for reading this story!!
Rescuing Harley was a fun and wild ride!! I loved this book.
I love when I read a Susan Stoker book because I know the females will not be shown as wimpy or desperate. Harley is a lot of things but not that. She is a smart, semi socially awkward yet quietly confident woman. She knows her self-worth and doesn’t apologize for it. However, she does some insecurities and because of this and being with a man like Coach it bring out a few of them.
Coach is part of the Delta Force. He is a man that is strong, protective and will move mountains for those that he loves. He is a man that craves control given his line of work and works out different scenarios to account for anything.
That is why when they first meet and coach asks for Harley to trust him and that he will take care of her, the unexpected happens and it shakes him to the core. He sees what Harley is made of and he is impressed. He figures this is a woman he has to know and have in his life.
Watching these two get to know each other and set the ground work for a loving and long relationship as a reader was fun to watch. Near the end an accident happens that puts their love and others love into perspective and helps them decide what they treasure and want out of life.
I love how Ms Stoker writes her heroines as far from perfect. We have Harley…The nerd, socially awkward, shy, computer geek who prefers online to people. Then we have Coach….The hot, smooth, (dare I say it) puppy dog that can bite! He feels an instant connection to Harley when he see’s her even though she’s not “his type”. He watches her for a bit and realizes that his “type” is actually her! In this story we don’t have the guys rushing in to save Harley in the physical sense, but Coach saves her on a personal/mental sense as much as she saves him. (Although she does save him in the physical sense). The story progresses in a very smooth way with the H/h getting to know each other and taking things slow as Harley realizes how much Coach cares for her. When they finally make love, the scene is explosive! Loved the story of this one!!
If you haven’t entered the world of Susan Stoker do so now. Her newest,Rescuing Harley, is just another in a long line of must read alpha meets his match.
Her Seals and their women have you believing in love and now her Delta guys
are here and I am loving it.
When video game coder Harley does a tandem skydive to help make her latest game more realistic she meets Coach. A midair accident has Harley saving Coach’s life and the feelings he has for her only intensify.
The dynamic between the H/h was great. He is both physically and emotionally supportive of her which helps her come out of her shell. He finds her unassuming and easy to be with and Harley can’t believe he enjoys her company.
I really enjoyed this read and look forward to the next book in the series
