Book 3 of Rose Pearson’s series of Standalone Regency Romance Stories, The Duke’s Daughters.Jacintha Seaworth is wise, complex and watchful. A beautiful woman, she nevertheless prefers to sit out from the dances, preferring to watch people and their interactions. She really couldn’t have chosen a childhood friend more different from her than Henry Musgrave, brother to family friend Claudia, and … family friend Claudia, and quite a social ladies’ man.
Now that Jacintha is the next daughter in line to fulfill her father’s wishes of seeing all of his daughters married before his illness takes him, it’s time for her to grow up and actually evaluate her feelings for Henry.
It’s true that Alexander Slate, naval captain and Earl of Highbury, is a much more suitable match, but Jacintha will never be able to deny that there is something there inside of her for Henry. For all his shortcomings, maybe, just maybe, he could become a changed man.
If only the path to love for at least one of the Seaworth daughters could be free of doubt or worry.
Somehow, it doesn’t even look like sweet and kind hearted Jacintha will be spared a dramatic and harrowing road to love.
A story of unexpected love against all odds in the world of Regency era England. “Rescued by an Earl” is the third book of the Duke’s Daughters Series by Rose Pearson. Each book can be treated as its own standalone romance story, and cliffhanger endings are always strictly avoided.

This is book # 3 in the Duke Daughters series. It can be
read as a stand along. The author entwined the past
and present effortlessly.
I volunteered to read Rescued by an Earl. Thanks to
Booksprout and the author for the opportunity. My
opinion is my own.
This was a very sweet story, and fun to read. It’s interesting how an almost kiss could be so vividly remembered by two different people, but dealt with so very differently.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST SPECTACULAR READS!!!
Oh, man. This is the best storyline. I was captivated from the start. The paragraph. It has all the excitement you’d expect from Lady Rose and all the drama. It was smooth flowing with plenty of twists, turns and surprises to keep your attention. I was so immersed I couldn’t put it down. Not for a second. The scenes and characters were so detailed and the description related perfectly. They were so realistic I was biting my nails and tightenin my tummy when it got really serious. It played out so well it was like a flower openin up welcoming the spring. I know I probably say every time that this is the best book ever, but I’m going to sat it again. Yes, I’m not going to lie. I cried. You would to. Or you will when you read it to find out why. Rose continues to leave me in awe. She has such a gift with bringing her stories to life. My family constantly grows. Well, you know? The characters. They are so deeply and affectionately described that they feel like a part of my family. Lady Rose has done such a phenomenal job bringing this read to life and into mine. Thank you Lady Rose.
