Cynthia Wright’s books are always full of well-researched detail and sweeping romance. In “Caroline,” you feel the post-Revolutionary War atmosphere with all its uncertainty and newness. The story plays out with such drama, it’s hard to believe this is Ms. Wright’s first book. Nothing is quite as entertaining as a woman disguised as a boy and the …

This is the first book I’ve ever read by Cynthia Wright and I loved it! The charachters are so well thought out and developed, you really end up rooting for the heoine Caroline and her hero Alec. I liked the story line and historical aspects of the book. What I didn’t like was all the sexual activities.
I loved the twists and turns of this book. Great characters
The book was fantastic. I love the time period after the War of declaring independence from the British. You fall instantly in love with Caro. Highly recommend this book.
This is THAT book. It can be read repeatedly and the characters get deeper°

This was the first book of Cynthia Wright’s that I read. I enjoyed it so much that I read the rest of this series and of couple of her other series as well. From one generation to the next, I loved following the families found within her pages.
One of the best romance stories ever!!
“Caroline” by Cynthia Wright is a
wonderfully romantic novel that weaves the heroes of the Revolutionary
War into the story line so very naturally. Alec & Caro meet in 1783, just after Caro has lost her memory.
Alec decides to become her guardian,
for appearances sake. These memorable characters and the supporting cast soon become people
any …

Rescued by a Rogue the Beauvisage Family book 2 by Cynthia Wright is a post Revolutionary War romance. The book contained interesting details about famous people in the nation’s history, glimpses into the areas and cities after the British left and many descriptions of fashion, home decor, food and lifestyle of the wealthy. Most action happened at …
Well, I thought the original premise would be very promising. It did hold my interest enough for me to keep reading. I thought it would have more of a twisting plot than it did. I did enjoy reading it and kept looking for the bitter truth to be revealed. It had quite a lot of romance, but how many steamy love scenes does a book really need?
Based on history of the Revolutionary War. Loved it.
Loved this book.
