Cocky and self-assured, I’m confident when it comes to my skills both on stage and in the bedroom. Everything in my life is perfect, even if I am the last single man standing in our famed rock band. But it wasn’t always this way.Jayla knew me before I hit it big. Back when I was a skinny teen, chasing dreams without a penny to my name. Now she’s back in my life and so much more than the girl I … than the girl I remember. Fiercely loyal. Beautiful and badass. She walked out of my life before, and I won’t let that happen again.
They say some songs are better on the second take, and if there’s one thing I know for sure, this is our time for a replay.
REPLAY is the final book in the Off Track Records series and can be read as a standalone, or start at the beginning with DETOUR.

REPLAY is the perfect conclusion to a wonderful series. With its usual Kacey Shea flair, Austin and Jayla are the epitome of a second chance romance.
I can not express how much I have loved this series and the journey the 3UG and their ladies and families endure. Austin has been a favorite of mine with his silly humor and protective ways when provoked. It was great to see this hot Rockstar fall for a strong woman. It touches on some hard topics but by no means should you shy away from this one nor any in the series.
This has some angst and of course you see all of the previous characters which was an awesome treat. Listening to each of these books has made me feel a part of the rock family for 3UG. These characters are so relatable and makes you wish you were part of their crew.
Of course, my favorite in this one was the bonus epilogue at the end which was so great to see. I will say most people have a favorite couple within series but I can honestly say I love each couple for who they are and their differences. I think I would have fallen for any of them or all of them. Thank you Ms. Shea for another well done book to wrap up this great series. Highly recommend.

Audio Review: Replay (Off Track Records #4) by Kacey Shea, Narrated by Jason Clarke & Morae Brehon
Austin and Jayla had my emotions all over the place. So much so that my heart got stuck on Replay. Shea puts readers on a collision course with the senses. She speaks to the broken pieces that we forget are there. This is a story that storms through barriers to open your eyes and reawaken your heart.
***** AUDIOBOOK REVIEW *****
Here we are… the sad ending with Austin! At least Kacey Shea ends it with fireworks! That is exactly what Austin and Jayla give us. These two have a past and it starts well before Austin is this sought after musician that everyone wants a piece of. I’m loving the way Shea rides the suspenseful line without going too far into it. Replay was perfectly balanced in romance and a bit of suspense. Again, we visited with all the previous characters and a continuation of a background story. I’ve enjoyed this interconnected series and love me some rocker men!
Now, the narration was Ah-Maze-Ing!!!! Jason Clarke hit the cocky and self-assured to a T! It qas this perfect balance of witty-cockiness humor with this all rockstar charm with a bit of All-American tossed in to make me swoon and stumble! Morae Brehon was a female narrator that I haven’t listened to before this. Now I’m questioning why?!?! I listen to audiobooks daily, seriously every single day… where has she been? She’s just what I imagine Jayla would be like. She’s strong and resilient while still being soft. She’s the perfect balance for Austin’s goofy and flirty personality.
I really enjoyed this “Replay” storyline. Jayla and Austin’s second chance. Throw in a suspense element and secrets and you’ll be hooked from the beginning to the end. Narration was great!
I’m very sad to see this fabulous series come to an end, but it’ll stay with me for a very long time!
Replay is the final audiobook in the Off Track Records series, and is Austin’s story brought to life by the brilliant performance of Jason Clarke. Morae Brehon is a new to me narrator, and while I loved Jayla’s strong personality, and journey along with Austin, unfortunatelly I couldn’t connect with her character in the narration. I’m so sorry for being too blunt and honest with myself, but at least most reviews are proving that most listeners were able to connect with both narrator.
This story is well-written, fill with suspense, intrigue, fun, angst, and a plot twist that’ll keep you listening/reading until the very end. I was surprised to learned of Austin’s backstory, since his lack of empaty with Iz (the original drummer for 3UG’s band) was heartbreaking on Derail, so I never thought he had it rough while growing up.
I absolutely enjoyed this entertaining and fantastic series. The interaction between all the characters in each installment is just amazing. I just wished Trent’s mom have had more participation as she did in previous installmetns. In addition, what was Beedo or Beto doing back on this story after selling the rights to the band to another lable without any legal repercussions for his ilegal actions in the previous installment got me all dizzy, and confused on this one. Sorry.
Overall: 4 Stars
Story: 4.5 Stars
Jason Clarke’s Performance: 5 Stars
Morae Brehon’ Performance: 3.75 Stars
This is the fourth book in the Off Track Records Series, an amazing Rock Star Romance. I love the 3UG! I recommend listening to this Series in order (Detour, Derail, Hinder, and then Replay). Austin and Jayla’s second chance to love has it all! It’s fun, emotional, intriguing, suspenseful, and entertaining, filled with secrets, and twists and turns. There is a lot going on in this story. I loved to follow them in their journey. The Epilogue is beautiful. The supporting characters are great, and it’s always great to see again the characters from the previous books. I love these series with interconnected characters! Jason Clarke and Morae Brehon did a wonderful job with the narration.
Yes!!!! We finally get Austin’s story and find out about what makes him, the sexy and super confident jokester, he is. Austin did not have the easiest childhood, but one lasting happy memory he does have is his neighbor Jayla. I loved how once he saw her again he was smitten. In a funny way, I knew it would take a real special women to make Austin finally want to settle down. Jayla is a strong women, who likes to be in control, if you know what I mean . She was exactly what the band needed at the time and it was great to see how all of the couples are growing together. I totally loved the extended epilogue too!! All the guys as daddies, super swoon . This story was once again narrated by the fabulous, Jason Clarke, who SINGS in this one!!! Also enjoyed new to me narrator Morae Brehon, who was the perfect Jayla
***I was given this audiobook in exchange for my honest review by the author. This did not effect my real opinion of this story. ***
This is a wonderful second chance romance that get better the further along it goes. While I enjoyed this I didn’t love it as much as the others in the series. I just struggled to connect with Jayla. I loved her jobs though because they are unusual for a woman and they seemed to make her more bad (in a good way). Austin is his normal joking self although he is thinking about finding his forever woman liked the rest of the band members. He doesn’t like feeling like a third wheel. I Love, love, love the explanation of Replay!! That Austin! He just surprised me with his statement. And That Christmas sweater thing! Gave me large grins!
I did love a lot of stuff that happens in here but I can’t mention it. I will give a hint…it has to do with the band members. Ha ha good hint huh? But they did surprise Me and made me grin…you know that big goofy one..eyes shining and teeth showing. Yeah that one!
I am more than thrilled to see what’s going on with the rest of the band and their ladies. Everyone has wonderful growth that continues throughout the series.
Overal it’s a wonderful story that has highs and lows. I laughed with this crew, was surprised and shocked at times. The Epilogues are perfect! This is a nice ending for these characters but I am sorry to see them go. Thank goodness for Re-listens so when I am missing them I can just Replay.
I did listen to this on audio. Jason Clarke and Morae Brehon are the narrators. Jason did amazing as he does normally in this series with all the guys voices. Morae Brehon is a new to me narrator.
I LOVE 3 Ugly Guys! This series has been amazing and this book is perfect! I love everything about this couple. You have the smart ass guy and the strong, tough woman that when you put them together the chemistry explodes. The plot that continues through this series finally has its perfect ending and we get the happy ever after a that we were all searching for.
It’s been years since Austin and Jayla have seen each other. They were best friends along with each other’s first when they were teens. But they unfortunately lost touch when Jayla suddenly moved away, never forgetting each other. Now years later they meet again, and Austin is determined to keep her this time. Austin is cocky, self-assured, and always ready with a joke. But with Jayla he is different, he wants to be a better man for her. Jayla was a police officer and now does security when she is brought on tour after the band received threats. Jayla is determined to be professional, keep the tour safe and not fall for the man who was once her everything. Jayla has a heartbreaking secret that keeps her from getting close to anyone, but she feels safe with Austin. He has his own secrets that he keeps but that help him be what Jayla needs to feel whole again. This story touched on so many emotional and raw topics with honesty and empathy. I was moved by these flawed characters, I cared for them and cheered for their HEA.
Jason Clarke and Morae Brehon were amazing at bringing this engaging, funny, and steamy second chance romance to life. They made Austin and Jayla feel so real and honest, and made me feel all the anxiety, love and passion they felt. I was totally lost in their storytelling.
Fantastic Story & Listen Awesome Series Finale!

Off Track Records Book 4
By: Kacey Shea
Narrated by: Jason Clarke, Morae Brehon
Kacey Shea’s “Off Track Record” series is awesome, Austin has been one of my favorite characters, he is egotistic and full of himself but he is also “Three Ugly Guys’” resident clown, always trying to lighten up things up for others. We got to see some other sides of him throughout the series but it is great to see all of him in the book. We are shown what he is like beyond his facade and while we already know he has a heart of gold we see more of it here. Doing meet and greets before a show he sees a special someone from his past, someone he thought he would never see again, Jayla, growing up she was the girl next-door. They were good friends and getting close until her family up and left when they were 14 years old. He always wondered about her and now is his chance. Jayla, an ex-cop, currently works private security for different clients. She is a complete badass and takes her job seriously. She wanted to see Austin find out why he never tried to get in touch with her, if it was not for her friends pushing her she probably would have bailed out and not meet him. After a couple of serious incidents the band needed to up security and Austin pushed to have Jayla lead the team. It was great to watch Austin have to chase, he is used to girls doing the chasing so he is a bit out of his element but he did everything he could to spend more time with Jayla. It was also great to see the one who vowed never to get into a serious relationship want one. I loved learning about his past and Jayla’s too. Neither one had it easy and both had baggage because of it. I thought these two were perfect together and for each other. I loved how Austin handled Jayla with care, his intuitiveness on her need that. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is brilliantly plotted and there is never a dull moment. There is plenty of drama, both personal and band drama, some angst, mystery and thrilling suspense, as well as heartfelt and emotional moments and a great second chance romance. Kacey Shea out did herself in this book, touching on some serious subject matter, I won’t mention much other than it was all kept real, my heart broke for Jayla for what she went thru, both home and in the workforce. Another moving topic was Austin’s guilt and what he was doing and what he wound up doing in the end. His heart of gold really shone thru. Thank you for this awesome story and series, I am sad that this is the last book of the series, these characters and the world you created are amazing but with every ending there is always a new beginning and I am looking forward to what comes next from your creative mind.
I listened to the Audible edition, Jason Clarke & Morae Brehon are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personalty. Their portrayal of characters is spot on, Jason Clarke’s Austin’s was perfection, he grasped his persona and humanized him, sounding just as I pictured him to sound. Morae Brehon did the same for Jayla, she perfected her role. Both did a great job with the secondary characters as well. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they captured the characters emotions and projected them into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to, an added bonus was Jason Clarke melodic narration to a song. That you for another awesome listen

Off the Tracks 4
By: Kacey Shea
Narrated by: Jason Clarke, Morae Brehon
I was waiting on Austin’s story and Kacey Shea does not disappoint! This second chance romance had me from the first chapter. Jayla, Austin’s high school best friend shows up at one of his concerts. Now that he has seen her again, he isn’t going to let her get away. Jayla, an ex-police officer, has missed Austin too, but knowing his reputation, and her past experience, is not anxious to let him in. When the band is threatened, Jayla is brought in to run the security team, and now Austin gets his shot. Secrets revealed, danger lurking, and passion high, Kacey Shea delivers my favorite book of the series.I love stories when the characters have history, and their second chance is not the easiest, making the slow burn ignite with passion. Shea deals with relevant issues in her books too, and Jayla’s story is written with compassion. Then the bonus epilogue giving us a glimpse at the lives of all of our band members is the best! Seeing where time takes us after their books is just icing on the cake. This one is going in my top 10 listens of the year!
Jason Clarke and Morae Brehon are incredible together. Clarke keeps all his voices consistent through all 4 books, making the listen like coming home. We know who is speaking, and he has fantastic nuances in his voice making us understand all the feelings. Morae Brehon is amazing. She breathes life into Jayla, and draws us into her life. She is the perfect fit. It is a wonderful listen!

Author Kacey Shea delivers an absolutely enjoyable read in Replay. This story has a little bit of everything – friends to lovers, second chance, rockstar, all rolled into one. You’ll go from laughing to swooning in equal measure. Replay is sweet, steamy, funny, with a little suspense – a must read.
Complete opposites, Jayla is strong and resilient, professional and driven, while Austin prefers to be the non-commital, mood-lightening, comedic relief. After years apart and reuniting at a pre-concert meet and greet, lead guitarist, Austin, searches for a way to get the now guarded Jayla to let him back into her life. He’ll take just about anything she’s willing to give. The opportunity arises after an attempt to harm the band requires new security. Austin jumps at the chance to secure Jayla as private security, insisting she be hired. Although irritated to be forced into a job, her protective instincts surge at the thought of any harm coming to her childhood friend, and overcome her need for control. 6 weeks on a tour bus. With the man she’s never been able to let go of. The now very sexy, charming, panty-dropping, rock star. It’s just a job, and he doesn’t want her any way, right?
I loved the back stage, behind the scenes vibe Replay has. You totally feel like one of the crew, and right at home with this unconventional family. Kacey Shea makes the rockstar life relatable. Make yourself right at home, and one-click this steamy and heart-warming novel today!
Austin is the guitarist for the band Three Ugly Guys who has come a long way from the geeky boy he was in high school. He is now a successful rock star who has a way with women and is known for his humorous antics.
Jayla couldn’t be more different as she is strong, serious and determined. She was a police officer, but she has now moved into private security and owns her own company.
They were friends in high school however her feelings for him ran much deeper. When there is a threat against the band she is hired as the head of security and will be going on tour with the band. What could possibly go wrong?
Hot chemistry, drama and suspense all add up to a compelling storyline. It was great to not only see Austin find the one he was meant to be with but to catch up with the other members of the band as well.
Replay us the final book in the Off The Track Records. I absolutely loved reading this book. I don’t read many Rockstar Romances and I’m extremely picky about who the author is, but Kacey Shea has never steered me wrong. This book features Austin from 3UG and Jayla, the girl he thought he would never see again. This book does a good job of mixing romance with some suspense and that’s my favorite combination. I absolutely loved this series and I can’t wait to see what’s next.
What a great book and ending to the 3UG. I have loved them and Austin has been a huge part through out them all. He is the jokester, man whore you can’t help but love. That’s until Jayla comes to a concert and his past all comes back in a rush. She moved when they were teens and never spoke to her again. Now she a back and he wants to make up for old times.
Her character is a don’t take no crap kind of girl. She has been through a lot and bids her secrets. I love the banter with all the characters but Jayla stands up to Austin and gives him back what he gives. It’s a Laugh out Loud Friends to Lovers story you don’t want to miss. And I can imagine their beautiful babies now!!!!
Awesome book and amazing series. I highly recommend them.
I received a advanced copy for a honest review.
Check out this rock star romance from Kacey Shea!
Austin’s story is finally here! Jayla and Austin are incredible. I loved them so hard. They were best friends in their younger years and lost contact. Now, Jayla is ready to see the man who she always fantasized about and wondered if he ever missed her. These two are hot and sexy together and have lots of issues to resolve.
This author has done it again. She’s brought us Austin’s story in the best way. He’s arrogant and cocky. He’s a hard rocker and harder lover. Jayla is fierce and tough. She is also vulnerable and has insecurities. I loved her character so much. Pick up the story of final member of Three Ugly Guys and lose yourself in their world.
This was my first story by Kasey Shea, but it won’t be my last! I plan to read this entire series, all thanks to Austin and Jayla! Jayla is a fantastic heroine, bent but not broken, and Austin is so swoonworthy, cocky yet tender.
