1 war2 people trying to find love among the wreckage5 big surprisesThe fate of entire beloved organization in the balance= one big, sexy, bloody, hell of a ride.* This should be read AFTER you have read “Duke” as they share a plot. ** For possible triggers, please my website and find the “trigger” page from the main navigation bar.
This book was very interesting. Renny is peculiar. He can tell who you are, where you came from, what your intentions are etc. just by the way you look and act. And he will use it against you just to see you squirm if the mood strikes. And he has his mood swings all right. Mina is a profiler for Hailstorm and when Renny meets her he is into her and refuses to give up until he wears her down.
I really enjoyed this story. Renny is very interesting. His past is too. The dynamic between all the characters as the list gets bigger and bigger is really amazing. Jessica Gadziala is really good at making sure none of her characters act the same as each other. They are all very unique. I’ve loved this journey so far!
5 Henchmen Stars
First can I just say this cover!!! Hotness!
This book was brilliant we finally get to hear the conclusion to the big war that had killed off so many in the last book in the Henchmen series. This was a little different to the other books in this series, it had less action and was more about the love story and I for one was ok with that!
Renny and Mina are asked to pair up by Reign and Lo to use their skill of reading people to help them figure out who they can trust. Reign is full force trying to get the Henchmen back up and running. He feels the only he is comfortable with this is with the help of Mina. Although Mina wants nothing to do with Renny, she has no choice and has to go along with what Lo wants.
I don’t really want to say anymore, but a lot comes to head in this book. Not only do we hear from other members of the henchmen, Which I loved! We meet a lot of new hot characters that I really can’t wait to read about. With each Henchmen book I get more hooked, Jessica cant just not do any wrong with this series and with each book its gets better and better! Bring on the next one…
I went into this book with trepidation, fairly certain after I read Duke and then re-read Duke that I was still not going to like Renny. After my re-read of Renny I can say that the second time was definitely a charm, and I’m glad I took a chance with him and Mina again.
Watching the Henchmen MC lose so much, and worrying that they would not find out who was trying to destroy them – I know it’s fiction, but come on I’m attached!
I will always love the men in this MC, and the girls club. I love how Jessica Gadziala writes her Navesink Bank world, and that no matter who they end up with, each biker finds his perfect Old Lady.
Renny and Mina’s book was a really great mind tease. The way the both read people but sometimes don’t know things about themselves really drew me in. Also got a peek into what is next in The Henchman series, can’t wait!!!
5 mother effin stars for the wrath of Janie! We were left hanging with some major cliffies from the last book – the fate of a beloved character and who had started a war with the Henchmen. We find out all the answers to those plus have the added bonus of getting the complicated love story of Renny and Mina along with getting introduced to the new prospects. There was so much going on in this book I could hardly put it down and yet I didn’t want it end.
I’m in a happy fog after finishing this book. I love these characters and could live in the world of Navesink Bank forever.
