From the New York Times bestselling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes trouble in the form of a renegade. “The perfect mixed of sass, steam, and suspense!” -United Indie Book Blog Good girl Isabella wouldn’t miss the birth of her sister’s baby for the world. So when her car breaks down and one of the bikers next door offers her a ride to Vegas, it’s too tempting to … ride to Vegas, it’s too tempting to pass up. Besides, she can think of worse travel conditions than wrapping her arms around Renny, otherwise known as Renegade.
Tall, dark and handsome, the man is pure sex on a Harley.
Between wild parties and rumbling motorcycles, living next to the Knights of Fury MC has always left Isabella curious, but after a night in Vegas, she gets a firsthand taste. Drinks in the club surrounded by burly bikers soon turns into a series of daring decisions, which don’t seem so bad until she wakes up the next morning. Married. To Renny.
Could she be more of a cliché?
Nothing complicates an annulment like lingering temptation, especially when Isabella and Renny give in to their need, putting their marriage where their mouths are. But as Isabella learns what outlaw life is really like, she’ll have to decide if she’s in love with a biker–or in over her head.

Renny and Izzy’s story was amazing! I could not put this book down! It still amazes me how Chantal Fernando can write so many MC stories and they are always different! Renegade was everything you want it to be and more! I cannot wait for more from this series!!
Another gem from Chantal Fernando! Renegade is the second installment in the Knights of Fury series and while you don’t need to read the first book, Saint, to follow this one, it’s definitely worth it and I highly recommend it. But even then you will not be prepared for this story. Renegade assists the club’s straight-laced neighbor, Isabella, when her car breaks down and after giving her a lift to Las Vegas to see her sister, shenanigans ensue. What Renegade doesn’t know is that Isabella is not a fan of lies, and as soon as the club’s secrets start to be unveiled, Isabella has had enough. Renegade won’t be deterred, though, and he continues to try and win the heart of the girl who captured his. What I loved most about this book is while it had your standard MC elements, Isabella and Renegade’s story and the build-up of their relationship is anything but typical MC. And while the author’s biker boys are always alphas, they’re the sweetest alphas ever when they need to be. So there’s drama, there’s action, there’s definitely a bit of suspense, but there’s also angsty tension and a medium-burn trip toward love. And with lots of single club brothers left to be claimed, I can’t wait to see what Ms. Fernando comes up with next for this crew.
RENEGADE is the second instalment in Chantal Fernando’s contemporary, adult KNIGHTS OF FURY MC romance story line focusing on the members of the Knights of Fury MC. This is Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson’s story line. RENEGADE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
Told from first person perspective (Isabella) RENEGADE follows the building relationship between Jasper ‘Renegade aka Renny’ Steel, and graphic designer Isabella Johnson. On her way to visit her pregnant sister in Vegas, Isabella Johnson experiences car trouble and finds herself on the back of a motorcycle driven by Knights of Fury MC member Renegade Steel. A wild night of drinking results in a Vegas wedding between Isabella and Renny, a marriage that Isabella quickly wants annulled but upon their return home Renegade begins a slow seduction of the woman with whom he will fall in love, a woman who will soon discover that betrayal comes from many directions. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Renny and Isabella, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies all but destroy Isabella’s faith in the man with whom she is falling in love; and a rival MC targets not only the Knights of Fury but the Mayor himself.
Isabella and her sister Ariel have been estranged from their father for several years and Isabella’s relationship with Renny adds fuel to a fire that continues to burn. When Ariel moves in with our story line heroine, Ariel’s past threatens their well-ordered world, a world that now involves the Knights of Fury MC.
The relationship between Isabella and Renny is one of immediate attraction but based upon a lie and circumstance out of Isabella’s control. Renny has struggled to introduce himself to their beautiful new neighbor, an introduction that now involves a Vegas wedding, a potential annulment, and threats against the woman he loves. The $ex scenes are passionate but mostly implied.
There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Saint and Skylar, Temper, Trade, Dee, Chains and Crow; Isabella’s sister Ariel and her ex Merve; as well as their father.
RENEGADE is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies; family, friendship, romance and love. The premise is engaging, entertaining and captivating; the characters are energetic and dynamic; the romance is seductive but predicated on a lie.
Chantal Fernando may as well be called queen of MC book hangovers because every time I read one of hers I’m always left wanting to go back and read it all over again just to capture that magical feeling they always leave me with. Renegade is equal parts sweet, sexy and suspenseful making for a book I couldn’t stop reading for the life of me. I was hit with so many different emotions while reading that kept me either swooning, laughing, crying or with my jaw dropping to the floor!
Believe me when I say you don’t want to miss out on this read because it’s one heck of a ride.
When given the opportunity and I see this author with one I have not read I will dive in such as this one. I was fortunate enough to have read the first one in this so I was a happy person when I seen this one. In this one little did Isabella know when she took the ride from Renegade what kind of ride it would end up to be. The twists and turns of this one are different kind which leaves the readers in knots of pleasure for the most part. Izzy is the other part it would seem for him so it kept us stuck like wind to the face. Since everyone is different so is this one which makes for more intriguing read for someone like me who reads alot. How to see where this lands is the fun of reading.
Renegade by Chantal Fernando
Knights of Fury MC #2
A tame biker book with a sweet story sees Renny and Izzy eventually moving toward a HEA in the future. Izzy’s car breaks down when she needs to get to her sister in Las Vegas and Renny and three of his buddies from the Knights of Fury MC offer her a ride. Feeling a bit desperate she took Renny up on the offer and headed off to see her sister and help with the birthing of her niece Mila. And thus begins a story that was…interesting.
What I liked:
* Renny, short for Renegade, my, oh my, OH MY…what a splendid many he is! That said…perhaps a bit too clean cut and “nice” to be a biker.
* Izzy the openhearted brash and bold woman that loves is giving and caring but sure can hold a grudge
* The Knights of Fury men – all seem intriguing and worthy of their own stories.
* Shadow – sweet dog with a bite we have yet to see
What I might have liked to see more of:
* a bit more grit and darkness…or at least action scenes
* Where the story is going with the competing Killer MC group and Georgia
* A bit more about life in the clubhouse of the MC
This was a romance set in a MC biker background but really was more of a men’s club for feel than most MC biker books I have read in the past. That said, it was a fine story and I enjoyed reading it though I felt the ending was missing a bit of a letdown even though it did provide the HEA promised by Carina. I look forward to reading the next book in the series…I think.
Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the ARC – This is my honest review.
3-4 Stars
Another really enjoyable read by Chantal. Now unlike many other MC books this book doesn’t have all the MC drama throughout the entire book like so many. There are unknown threats and while the MC thinks they know what lies ahead nothing as it seems when reading this book.
I loved Renegade and Izzy. Now Renegade did get on my bad side for a hot minute but he is so sweet, loving and as patient as he can be when it comes to Izzy. Izzy is absolutely hilarious and caring. She has a lot of trust issues and that makes it hard for her to trust although she likes Renegade she isn’t about to want to jump into anything serious with him right away.
Lies, secrets, heartbreak, love, sexy times, danger and more are all in store for this group of characters and it will definitely keep your interest for sure. I can’t wait for the next in this series!!!
Renegade had me from the start. Izzy is a confident, independent, funny woman who is full of sass and sarcastic whit. Renny is all alpha male, but is funny and has a sweet side. They are cute together and each other’s perfect match. When they are not steaming up the pages, they are teasing each other and making me laugh. I read this book front to back in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. I loved these two and this world of characters. This was such a good read. I loved it! I cannot wait for future stories in this world.
“Our story isn’t starting off in the traditional sense…But no true love story ever is.”
When it comes to family, there’s nothing Isabella won’t do to for them. So, when her sister goes into labor, she’s headed for Vegas without another thought. However, getting to Vegas proves to be a problem. When Isabella’s car won’t start, she gets an offer from a biker that she can’t refuse. Isabella was only supposed to help her sister while in Vegas, not get tangled up with the sexy Renny. But, when Renny offers to show Isabella a good time in Vegas, she can’t bring herself to turn him down. What happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas…that is unless you find yourself married to a sexy biker! Isabella’s world is about to be turned upside down in more ways than one….
Renegade was a fun and sexy read. It wasn’t as crazy and intense as some of the other biker books I’ve read and I actually really enjoyed it. Yes, it had some craziness and drama, but as far as biker books go, this one was pretty tame. And like I said, I enjoyed it. It was a breath of fresh air. I loved seeing the softer side of the MC life and really getting that family feel and devotion.
As far as Renny & Isabella go, I loved the two of them together. They couldn’t be more opposite, but it totally worked for them. Isabella was hardworking and devoted to those important in her life. However, she could totally hang with bikers. She was tough and held her own and that made her a perfect match for Renny. Speaking of Renny, Renny was hotter than sin and a total biker bada**. He would do anything for his brothers. And when he set his sites on Isabella, all bets were off. Renny proved that you could be a bada** biker, yet have a heart of gold. He was totally smitten with Isabella and would stop at nothing to prove just how right for each other they were.
Renegade was well written and entertaining. The characters are likable and took me by surprise in the best way. This book might be tame compared to most biker books, but it still gave me what I was looking for without going over the top. When it was all said and done, I had a great time getting to know Renny & Isabella and The Knights of Fury MC. I’m really excited to see where this series is going to take us next!
Once again, Chantal Fernando gives us a beautiful story wrapped up in the MC world. This time we get Isabella and Renny and they give us such a stunning and unique run that will keep you on your toes and swoon! And who says what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?!?! I think what I love about this story is we get the ups and downs of the two trying to figure out where they are going with this plus the drama from the MC world. You get some intrigue but also some really romantic moments. The connection that these two have is sizzling. The flow of the story amazing. The concept with unique twists in it! I read it in one sitting because I could not put it down! If you are a Fernando fan, this book will suck you in!
This is the second book of the series and like the first one I just couldn’t put it down!! Isabella lives next-door to the Knights and pretty much keeps to her self but they have taken notice of her especially Renny. Izzy is a bad a$$ chick with a booming career and loved her family, well her sister and new niece. Renny will do anything for his club and brothers but when it comes to deceiving Izzy he has second thoughts that the plan was already set in motion. Will Izzy be able to forgive Renny after she knows how deep his deception went? I can’t wait for the next installment of the series!!! I highly recommend this book!
Renegade was a character that surprised me. He was quite aloof when he made appearances in SAINT so getting to know him was an unexpected treat. He didn’t turn out to be like the “typical biker”. Sure he was a total sexy badass, but on a deeper level he was a romantic.
Isabelle was everything you’d expect in a heroine. She was strong and independent and easily blended in with the MC. Having lived next door to the clubhouse she’s purposely kept her distance but when she needs a favor, the brothers step in to help her which takes her life in a whole different direction. Her and Renny’s story is nothing like your typical MC romance; which a LOVED.
Their story has a few twists, some suspense and a bit of mystery but for the most part it is primarily character driven.
I’m totally loving this series!
The second book in the Knights of Fury series had me captivated from the start. Renny and Izzy are walking proof of what happens in Vegas doesn’t necessarily stay in Vegas. However as lies and deceptions are brought to the surface Renny must go into damage control to ensure he doesn’t lose the woman that means everything to him. As enemies come at them from every angle these two will realize that nothing else matters besides love and family. Their story will have you on the edge of your seat, have you heating up like a tailpipe after a long ride and will have you feeling the strong arm of the brotherhood as it wraps its way around you. Renny and Izzy will have you falling in love and hoping that as the storm clears that they will finally get the happily ever after without a cloud of mistrust and past mistakes hanging over them.
Renegade is book two in the series. I really liked it. I loved loved Renny and Isabella. Renny was really sweet and swoony. Isabella was sweet, sassy and a really great woman. Their chemistry and connection was amazing. I loved them together. I am hoping that Ariel will be getting a book!
3.5 stars… a easy, low angst read that builds on from the previous story in this series. Good chemistry and storyline but a bit predictable. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
This is the 3nd book in this series, and Saint needs to be read first in order to get a better understanding of the dynamics. Isabella is on her way to Vegas for the birth of her niece, when her car breaks down, and Renny her neighbour comes to the rescue. This is a well written story which has drama, danger, violence, twists, and is a fun and steamy read. In my opinion though I loved the story, it just felt very rushed. I am looking forward to reading more in this intriguing series.
4 stars
Renegade, the second in the Knights of Fury MC series, reminding me of my fantasy of riding off into the sunset on a motorcycle. Lucky girl, Izzy does that with pure sex on a stick, Renegade aka Renny and I’m not jealous at all! While all books can be read standalone, I recommend reading the start of the series first.
Izzy lives next door to an infamous MC compound and while she’s not rushing over to borrow a cup of sugar, they’ve been good neighbors so far. They become even better neighbors when her car breaks down and she needs to get to Vegas for her sister. Renny becomes her knight in a shiny Harley when he rides to her rescue. The guys get her there in one piece and she’s intrigued by the sexy bad boy.
Renny has had a thing for the sexy neighbor since she doesn’t moved in, so he doesn’t pass up an opportunity to play her hero. Riding to Vegas with her arms wrapped tight around only solidifies that desire. So when they wake up married, he’s reluctant to unravel the ties that bind. But Renny forgets the old saying about honesty being the best policy and it might cost him everything.
Good read full of sexy sweetness from our biker and his fiesty lady. Strangely, being that this is an MC book, it was light on drama and suspense. As an avid MC fan, the drama left me a tad underwhelmed, but Renny and Izzy were still quite good. I look forward to more in this series.

Renegade by Chantal Fernando is another great one in this series. What more could you ask for? Hot motorcycle club neighbors, Las Vegas, waking up married? Yes, please! This book is a must read for all who love a HEA MC romance!

This is the second of the Knights of Fury MC series and book one, Saint, should be read before hand, as the stuff that happened in that book does come up in Renegade and just makes everything a bit clearer. Renny/Renegade comes to the rescue when Izzy’s car breaks down, she has seen him before; she is the neighbor to the clubhouse so of course she has, but this is her first interaction with anyone from the club other than the one time with Skylar. When Renny offers to give her ride to Vegas so that she can be there for the birth of her niece, Izzy is amazed at how nice these guys are and takes them up on the offer. But is it too good to be true? What happens when things in Vegas lead to something more?
This story did not pan out the way I thought it would, in fact this didn’t go how I thought it would at all. This isn’t a bad thing by any means, just the opposite; Chantal is not getting predictable and that’s great! This was very entertaining, with loads of drama, danger, violence, it was low on the naughty bits but that’s ok we don’t always need them. I give this 4 stars.

Izzy and Renegade/Renny met in quite an unconventional way and their relationship set off full steam ahead. Izzy finds out some things she’s not completely happy with though and it takes a lot of work by Renny to earn back her trust and her affections. It isn’t just the pair that are having issues though, there are past enemies, family drama and even an unexpected face making drama for the whole club, not just Izzy and Renny.
This was quite a good story and it was pretty fast paced as there was never really a lull in the story. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next one. I give Renegade 4 stars.
This book was all about family, the ones that you are born to and the ones that you make. And I love that in a book. Family is important, and those connections made this a fabulous story!
Izzy is a good girl, who works hard, and loves hard. She’s loyal, and will do anything she can to help someone, especially if it’s someone she considers family. Crazy events lead her to Renny, and his family of bikers. An instant heat and a spur of the moment road trip put them on the path to each other. Danger and tragedy try to keep them apart. Circumstances threw Renny and Izzy together, but an instant attraction took it further. A fun night in Vegas turned in to so much more. But can they turn what started as a whim into something that will last a life time?
I loved Remmy and Izzy’s connection, and their ease with each other. Right from the first meeting, it seemed like they had known each other a lifetime, they were absolutely perfect. And even though there were so many things stacked against them, I couldn’t help but cheer for them to find their HEA together! This was a fun book, one that kept me guessing, and kept me laughing. This is definitely turning out to be a series that I’m enjoying enough to put on my re-read list!
