How does one accidentally dare their ex to seduce them?No idea, but Phoebe somehow managed to get it into Andy’s head that she’s challenging him to charm her pants off, quite literally. So what if he shattered her heart five years before, leaving her behind after enlisting in the navy?Or that he’s been back for quite some time, but the only reason they reconnected was that they’re sitting on … that they’re sitting on opposite sides of a career-changing legal dispute?
And the way he looks at her like she can put all his pieces back together, stirring all these pesky emotions she convinced herself she doesn’t have for him anymore?
Yeah, accidentally daring the only man who ever managed to melt your ice-queen heart to seduce you is definitely a problem…

Love the eternal cheerfulness of this author’s writing. Even in the depths of an impossible situation, this author’s sense of humor keeps me completely entertained and ready for more. Read this book if you want the redemption of a high school romance revisited and more hijinx from the 3 besties we just can’t help but love.
At first, I didn’t think I’d be able to get past Andy’s hot and cold games with Phoebe when they meet up again. After all, he broke her and dared to act like she was to blame. Then the layers started peeling away and I saw just how vulnerable and scared Andy was that he’d never be enough for Phoebe to choose to stay. Sure, he still needed a smack upside the head a few times, but he finally pulled himself together enough to earn love from everyone.
This was an enjoyable book that had me wondering more than once just HOW it would all work out…and once I saw how everything would be solved, I also found myself wanting even more. I want Jonah’s story and Hammond’s (and Cornelia’s? Maybe?) story and Gabe’s and so many more. I’m pretty sure this author has a bright future because people will definitely come back for each new person and the opportunity to catch up with everyone else.
Another super hot and heavenly good read!
Kyra Fox has a way of making every book special and unique, and Phoebe’s story is no exception. Her vulnerability shows us that as strong as we may seem to others, we all still have a hidden weakness. And Andy is a weakness I wouldn’t mind having for my very own.
We fell in love with the main cast of characters in Book One, more deeply in love with Book Two, and now, in Book Three, it’ll break your heart to say goodbye.
But keep in mind, it’s only for now.
Andy and Phoebe… oh my heart! The third book in Kyra Fox’s BFFs series was by far the best!!! And that’s saying something because the first 2 were amazing!
Heartfelt, romantic… smoldering…
Don’t miss out on this series!!!!
Remnants of You was a good conclusion to the BFF series. I liked Phoebe and my heart truly broke for her. It isn’t easy having the man of your dreams up and leave you suddenly. Now five years later he is back in her life, but not for the reason she had hoped for. I would have liked to see more from Phoebe and Andy themselves. A good portion of this book focuses on the other BFFs in the series. This isn’t vastly different from the other books in this series, however after a while I found the video chats and group input tiresome. Overall I liked the story line. I also really liked new characters Mac and Leanne, can anyone say spin off book! Lastly I really liked the epilogue. I loved getting to see each couple in the series and what becomes of them.
Remnants of you is book 3 in the BFF series. After making sure her two best friends had found their forever after it’s now Phoebe’s turn. After being torn apart 5 years ago the love of Phoebe’s life is back but can she put all the hurt aside and let Andy back. This is a sweet second chance romance that sometimes you would like to smack both their heads together to make them wake up. If you like a nice HEA this is the book for you.
Remnants of You is a sweet second chance romance between Andy and Phoebe and my first book by this author. I found Andy a little frustrating at times with his push and pull with Phoebe and it made me want to jump through my kindle and wake him up. The chemistry between these two keeps you enchanted as you take the journey between their past baggage and the possible future. As infuriating as Andy is the author allows you to see the vulnerability and the apprehension that he suffers that he is just not enough for Phoebe. A story that keeps you entertained and packs a punch with emotions right to the very end.
I really enjoyed Remnants of You, the third book in the BFF series by Kyra Fox. This novel is about Phoebe, (who is mentioned in Zoe’s and Trista’s books), who is a lawyer and works at a law firm in New York City. Phoebe’s former boyfriend, Andy, who she had dated for five years and then he broke up with her five years before the start of this story, (after he enlisted in the Navy and was about to be sent to Afghanistan), suddenly shows up at her office in New York. Phoebe has not heard a word from Andy since he was deployed, and she did not know if he was dead or alive. She had moved on with her life, and had even been engaged to a guy named Myles, but she broke off the engagement when he wanted her to move to Kentucky. When Phoebe sees Andy standing in her office, she is so relieved to see him alive and standing right in front of her, that she runs into his arms and gives him a hard and long lasting hug. She soon learns that Andy isn’t in her office for personal reasons, but is there on behalf of a friend, an elderly woman, who was best friends with Andy’s mom, who had recently died. The woman owned an Inn in the town where Andy grew up, and had willed the Inn to her last living relative, her rich nephew, and it turns out that Phoebe’s firm is representing the nephew. This is the story of how Phoebe must learn to work with and forgive Andy, and then see if they can get to know each other again after five years of no communication, and lots of emotional scars.
I loved this book because not only are the characters relatable, because they have real emotions and realistic backstories, but the situations that these characters must work through are situations that most people can relate to, as well. I don’t want to spoil this book for any future readers, so I’m not going to say anything else about the details of this story. I just want to encourage lovers of romance novels to read this book because I think that you will really enjoy it.
Omg emotional rollercoaster ride with a punch from the feels fairy. I love the way she writes. This civilian Army hunt and the ice queen lawyer had me in stiches and in tears all at once I can’t wait to see what other stories come out of that world.
So happy to see Phoebe get her HEA! She’s been such a force of awesomeness in the previous books, and I love her even more now. Andy is such a great character: he’s the tough alpha male but he has that little bit of “damage” that makes you fall in love and root for him to succeed. I love a second chance romance, and Phoebe and Andy’s chemistry is off the charts! I like that they don’t officially do the deed until the last quarter of the book because you really get to know them and see them working on what broke them up in the first place. Great book, I loved it! I sure hope we get to see Gabe and Leanne’s story, and it was such a treat to see more of Zoe & Mac and Trista & Brian.
A story of second chances, redemption, and of course romance!
I’m a big fan of second chance romances and complex characters. I admit to not being a big fan of Andy at first but watching his character’s growth with Phoebe changed my tune. You sympathize and find yourself cheering them on through their journey. This story had me from the beginning and kept me wondering how they would all turn out. I hope to see more of these characters and will be reading more from this author.
This is a second chance story to illustrates that “if it is meant to be, it will be”. Phoebe and Andy always had a love connection. Now that Andy is back from the war and they are pushed together by a meddling friend, he and Phoebe need to clear the air about what happened the five years prior but also get to know the people they are now. I enjoyed the relationship with the BFF’s (aka the girls) but also to know the guys. This story has a strong sense of family and camaraderie. I enjoy connecting the strings to the all of the side characters. I really enjoyed it and want to go back the rest of the series. This is a story that has all of the feels and has you cheering for the c
FINALLY Phoebes’ story!
I was privileged to Beta Andy and Phoebes’ book.
Second Chances are harder, but oftentimes more rewarding than first chances.
Trust me.
You’re gonna love it!
