A twist of events takes Esme across the world where a conversation with a mysterious woman sheds life on Remi’s life. More than ever, she wants all or nothing when it comes to him. Would Remi give her what she wants?
Digging deeper into Remi’s life, Esme gathers more information about his past, and yet, she misses a few critical pieces of the puzzle. A private talk with Cameron opens her eyes to … her eyes to what she means to him and also sends her to the man she loves. Is she ready to confront him and demand what she deserves? Is he prepared to reveal the part of him he hides the most?
AUTHOR’S NOTE:
This book ends on a cliffhanger. The next book should be published soon. All books of this series should be read in order. Thank you.
more
This is the ninth book in Remi and Esme’s story. You must read all these books and in order. As this couple’s story continues to unfold and their relationship evolves, you can expect lots of emotions and twists along the way. Esme’s quest to learn about Remi reaps rewards but also raises new questions. The drama, tension, twists, turmoil and steam will have you hooked and once you hit the cliffhanger the wait will be on for book ten. This is my independent, impartial review.
Quite unexpected revelations
4.5
Finally we discover who is Remi, but even if this ninth book is announced as the last in the series of “Remi”, the end seemed partial because it opens on another side of the life of Remi and a character linked to his childhood. This part is therefore necessarily to read with the others in the series to better see the story of Remi and Esme evolve (well I hope because I would like to know a little more). The end is in fact, quite unexpected and I did not know if I should rejoice or not, so much it left me perplexed about Remi’s behavior and what Esme accepted. Some parts are still as hot but less controversial than in all the other episodes of the series.
Esme continues to rummage, endangering her unconventional relationship with Remi when she realizes that he has left to Buenos Aires, without warning her. She decides to join him to have or to see the truth, even if it means definitively ending this relationship which seems one way.
