I loved this book. So much that now I’ve purchased the next three in the series! Camille and Noah’s story is complicated, sweet and heartwarming. It is written beautifully. There are secrets and twists you don’t see coming. I am totally a fan! I highly recommend this book and it’s Author. Plus the Audiobook is outstanding. You’ll love it too!
I enjoyed reading Remembering the Cowboy. I sympathized with Noah’s dilemma and Camille’s accident and memory loss. If you like contemporary romances and cowboys, I think you’ll like this book.
I really liked Camille and Noah’s story and am enjoying reading the whole series. These books are a quick, light read with just the right amount of drama. Noah is a great, patient guy in that he helps Camille remember things on her own timeline and her own terms. Camille’s misguided step father was very unlikeable and throws a wrench in their HEA. I recommend the Blackwater Ranch series of swoon-worthy cowboys.
This story of recovering from an accident and a memory loss is so heartwarming. I might have swooned over the cowboy brothers. I enjoyed it! Read to find out if there is a precious happily ever after for Camille and Noah.
Great intro to a new series!
The secrets and suspense were well portrayed, but not angsty. I like that the intense moments were few and short.
The plot turns were realistic, as was the dialogue.
I really enjoyed the story and getting to meet the Harding family.
Loved Camille and Noah’s story!! Camille’s stepfather has tried to run her life, going so far as to threaten Noah that he will destroy his family. For six years Noah stayed away from her. Camille’s now on her way home, determined that nothing will stop her. When the deer runs into her car, everything is changed. Will she remember Noah? When she starts to get her memory back, will she believe him about what happened six years ago? Can they overcome?? This is such a great read!! There are a few twists and turns that I anticipated, but a few that I didn’t!
I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.
Remembering the Cowboy is my first Mandi Blake story. It will not be my last! This story is full of romance, forgiveness, and a bit of intrigue. I loved the writing style and the introduction of the characters that start to set us up for the remaining stories in this series. I can’t wait to find out which Harding brother ( or cousin?) is next!
Camille and Noah were high school sweethearts until something went mysteriously wrong. Camille is on her way back home to find out exactly what happened between her and Noah. On her way, she is in a car wreck which makes her have some memory loss.
You could literally feel Noah’s love for Camille while reading this story! I loved how even though Camille has some memory loss, she connected with and knew there was something special between her and Noah the “first” time they met. I really enjoyed how their romance developed as Camille slowly regains her memory.
I loved the theme of forgiveness in this story, while I did feel like it happened a bit fast, I love the message! I’m really looking forward to reading the next book in this series as well as Mandi Blake’s backlist!
A sweet cowboy romance! This was a light, easy read with a unique plot. Camille was determined to track down Noah, the man who had broken her heart and then ghosted her, but an accident causes her to lose her memory. When Camille and Noah finally reconnect, however, there is more keeping them apart than her lost memory.
This was a heartwarming tale with themes of forgiveness and redemption. Would have loved to see a bit more of Nathan’s journey so it didn’t seem quite so sudden, but I loved the idea that everyone deserves a second chance.
I thoroughly enjoyed the relationship between Noah and Camille – I love it when best friends fall in love. Excited to read the rest of the series.
I received a complimentary copy but my opinion is my own.
Will amnesia keep Camille and Noah apart? The heart just has a way of finding what the mind has forgotten. A story of love, forgiveness and friendship.
When does love’s actions become control and abuse? In this case, it is perpetrated by Camille’s stepfather and shown by his opposition to Noah as a partner for her. In this day of abuse of power, I found this story to be realistic and heart breaking. So many years wasted by Nathan’s interference. In addition to the good story line, Mandi Blake’s story also had interesting characters, humor and romance. I look forward to the rest of the series.
Loved this sweet romance with Camille and Noah who grew up together and as they grew older became sweethearts until her father warned him away. Noah is a rancher/firefighter and he did not think he was good enough for her and now years later she wants answers as to why he broke ties with her. This is a well written sweet romance with great characters that pulls you in and keeps you intrigued until the end.
This was a story with a lot of heart involved. There was pain and heart aches and struggles for recovery and things torn apart. It was a second chance romance and I loved it. There was a slight thread of suspense. The characters were amazing and I can’t wait to read more!
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
Camille Vanderbilt and Noah Harding had been best friends for years but as seniors in high school, they finally realized there was more to their relationship than just friendship. But, Camille’s stepdad was determined that she deserved someone better than a cowboy rancher so he stepped in and made Noah step back. Six years later, Camille is returning to town determined to find Noah and make him tell her why he ended things.
I won’t give away any more of the story but there is a lot of romance, intrigue, healing and finally forgiveness. You could really “feel” the emotions of both Noah and Camille as they faced daunting challenges to their relationship.
I love how this author is able to project the emotions where you feel you are experiencing them yourself and tell a story that is full of love. She is a Christian author so the stories are clean and more wholesome but not preachy. They are always wonderful stories with a happy ending but not always an easy path to get there.
I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.
Really enjoyed reading this book. Camille and Noah are wonderful, well written characters. Their story shows compassion and the patience that love brings. Their faith in God and their love for each other allows them to overcome their difficulties.
I highly recommend this book.
I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
The emotional rollercoaster starts on the first page.
We are introduced to a mystery. What happened? Did he disappear? Why did he ghost her?
On her trip home for the holidays, Camille was determined to find him and get some answers. As she is on her way home she ended up in a car crash that takes her memory.
Fortunately for her, the EMT who comes to the crash site is none other than the very man she is looking for.
Still in love with her, he panics, but his training keeps him steady as they rush her to the hospital.
At the hospital we meet more members of her family and come to realize that her stepfather is the one who has kept Camille and Noah apart.
As Camille settles back into a life with only bits and pieces of her memory, she decides to stay in town where her family could support her. That also means she runs into Noah, the very person she can’t keep out of her mind.
He has hope that some things from their past can be forgotten and moved past, but he still remembers it all, even what broke them apart before. However, now that Camille is back, he never wants to let her go again. So, he starts trying to build a new relationship with her, helping her to try to remember, while trying to avoid her stepfather.
Trying to keep their relationship and love for each other hidden doesn’t go well. Her stepfather finds out and does some horrible things. However, in the end even he finds redemption.
I loved the book. Seeing the love between the characters from the very beginning to the very end warmed my heart. They were able to overcome obstacles that most people would let split them apart. Through it all the only person they wanted by their side was each other. Their journey was truly beautiful and well written.
I felt like I was there, seeing this love story unfold right before me.
There are so many characters in this book that I care deeply for, I hope some of their stories will be written in the next books in this series.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a sweet, clean romance. This is one of the best books I have ever read.
I received an ARC for free to review. All of the opinions expressed above are my own.
Fantastic beginning to a new series. Your attention is grabbed from the very beginning and not released until the HEA. A perfectly developed second chance romance with all the feels you could possibly want. Can’t wait for the next book.
This is such a good book!
I truly enjoyed reading it.
It’s a heartwarming & moving
second chance romance.
Noah & Camille’s story will pull at
your heartstrings from the very
first pages to the last.
It has the small town charm
& the comfort of family.
It’s the first book I’ve read by
Mandi Blake, & it won’t be my last.
A MUST READ!!
I loved Noah and Camille! I felt so sorry for all the years they lost. I loved how strong Noah and his family were. This was a very tender story with lots of great characters. This is a super sweet, clean romance that I didn’t want to end.
This was a great start to a new series. Noah and Camille are kept apart by their social differences and outside forces. I would have been so scared to be in that car accident, lose my memories, and deal other health issues afterwards like Camille did. Noah was brave to approach her again after all her stepfather’s threats. This was a clean Christian second chance romance with an underlying theme of redemption. I’m looking forward to reading about his brothers finding love.
It’s no secret that Mandi Blake is one of my favorite authors. I’ll read every book she publishes. I’ve loved every book so far and I think this cowboy series is going to be my new favorite. Noah & Camille’s story had me thinking about them long after I finished reading it. It starts out with a bang and keeps you on your toes every turn of the page. Noah is a swoon-worthy cowboy (and firefighter) who is truly a great guy. Looking forward to reading more of the Harding brothers in this series!
