Even though I don’t remember her, my heart just can’t seem to forget that she’s mine.Everything changed five years ago.I didn’t mind losing my memory after my brother died in an accident that nearly claimed my life too. A clean slate was just what I needed to keep the pain away.Remembering the past wasn’t really a problem until a feisty blonde by the name of Penny Preston showed up in my bar … blonde by the name of Penny Preston showed up in my bar demanding answers…answers that I can’t possibly give her.
But as hard as I try to ignore my longing for her, it’s almost impossible. Something keeps drawing me back to her.
When I push her away one too many times right into the arms of another man, I realize I can’t bear to lose her.
Even though I don’t remember her, my heart just can’t seem to forget that she’s mine.
And I’m going to get her back.

I don’t think that I have ever had a book take me on suck a crazy emotional roller coaster!
Penny went away to New York for college. Colton was staying behind to help out with his families bar. They has been in love since they were children, so this separation was going to be a tough one. They promised to call, text and email all the time. But as with all long distance relationships, lost touch. Her mother told her that he has moved on. Penny was so devastated that she was still heartbroken 5 years later. So she decides to go home to confront him. That’s when she found out that he has been in an accident and didn’t remember anything from before the accident, 5 years ago. Penny decides she is going to stick around and she is determined to being him back to her. While his brain doesn’t remember her, it seems that his heart does and he cant seem to stay away from her.
Penny and Colton have the kind of love that everyone dreams of. The kind that can last through anything. While Penny has her work cut out for her, she keeps catching glimpses that her Colton is in there and keeps the hope that she can bring him back. Colton is so hot and cold that Penny never knows which one she is going to be dealing with.
From the beginning I was crying over the heartbreak. And on numerous occasions it gave me chills. It took me all of one day to finish it! I loved this book. It is definitely one that I am sure I will be able to read again and again!
I received an ARC of Remember Me Always and this is my freely given honest review. I liked the second chance love story of childhood sweethearts Penny and Colton. They had grown up together, teased each other and eventually fell in love. Penny left Alabama after graduating high school to attend college in New York at her parents insistence. Then unbeknownst to Penny, Colton was in a car accident in which his brother died. Fast forward 5 years later and Penny finally wants to know what happened with her relationship with Colton. No calls from him and her mother told her that he moved on to another girl after she left town. As you can guess this is not what happened and Penny will soon find out that Colton is no longer the loving young man that stole her heart but an angry adult that doesn’t remember her due to a traumatic brain injury. The story will be told from both POV and you will get some insight into his mind. This is where I stop otherwise I will give away their story. It’s young second chance love and I had trouble relating even though I was married by this age! I guess I forgot about all the angst of youth. The story is sweet, sexy and well written and there will be a HEA. I encourage you to give Angela Snyder a try because Remember Me Always is worth your time.
Wow….this book was so gripping I couldn’t put it down, even if I tried! This read will pull at your heartstrings from the very beginning and with each paragraph, page and chapter it will pull so many emotions from you that you won’t fill relief until you get to the very end. Be prepared to laugh, cry, be angry, want to hit something, want to scream, have hope and in the end you have love! Such a beautiful heartwrenching story of two people torn apart by tragedy but brought together by that once in a lifetime love!
Omg! This was the first book I read from this author and it was amazing. I’ve read books that have touched me but this book, gave me all different emotions. Colton and Penny’s story is so heartfelt you will need tissues. This second chance romance is one of the best ones I’ve ever read. Amazing!
I really like this authors books and her style of writing, so I was excited to read this book. The story is told from both Penny and Colt, I enjoy reading from both points of views.
Penny and Colt were best friends, then boyfriend and girlfriend and then fell in love, they got older and Penny went off to college – promising to stay together, visiting, texting and talking. The dream ended and Penny was devastated, she carried on with her studies, only returning home when she has finished her courses.
Colton, he was gutted when Penny left for College. He loved her so much. When a petite blonde walks into his bar and confronts him over breaking her heart years ago – he doesn’t even know who she is, so you can imagine it doesn’t go too well!
Penny soon learns the awful truth, his accident, the deaths and the memory loss, he really doesn’t know her :(. Penny is an intelligent woman but she’s also a romantic and decides that she can remind him who they were together. She has her work cut out as his not exactly the Colt she remembers, his changed physically and his more aggressive than he ever was, he still likes women so that is in Pennys favour.
Your in for a rollercoaster of a relationship with this book, it will squeeze you heart and then fill it. Penny is not one for giving up, I have to admit as much as I was willing them to sort it, at one point I was like Penny stop its not gonna happen, give up, move on, he’s not your man anymore – BUT what the heart wants is worth fight for.
I liked Colt, his had a tough time and deserves happiness, he doesn’t treat Penny well though, he knows this and feels bad – his one well messed up man that needs a good woman to sort him – his lucky enough to have one willing to be there for him, all he has to do is let her in and be nice.
This is a romance that has a lot of tragedy in its past, but surely the future can bring happiness… you’ll have to read it to find out!
