An interesting book, with a mysterious, suspenseful feel
This book pulled me right in, while at the same time making me wonder what I missed, as I found it bouncing back and forth in time, sort of like reading a mysterious time travel book—yet it didn’t follow a set time frame pattern. I couldn’t put it down, as I determined to find out how it was going to end. I recommend it as a good book, and one you will be glad you finished to the wonderful ending!
Disclaimer: I was given a copy of the book by the author, and happily give my personal review of it.
This story took me by surprise so much more than mystery or suspense novel it is the love story that easily replaces Love Story as the greatest romance ever. Love is one of the strongest powers on earth and this story proves it. Be prepared to bounce all over think you know what is going on only to find your wrong. Enjoy I know I did…
This isn’t my preferred genre but I enjoyed it all the same! With an intriguing plot and interesting characters, Remember Me is a top notch suspenseful page-turner.
Wow! This book held me spellbound until the end. What an awesome story! You may not think so right away because you will have so many questions going on in your brain wondering if this is a sci-fi, a who dun it, a what’s-it, or a whatever. However, it is actually an eventful mystery that doesn’t quite explain what is going on until near the end. Then it kicks you in the gut. And you will go ‘ooohhh, aaahhh yes’. Then when you think back on it you’ll go ‘of course’, ‘so that’s why’, ‘ah yes, now I see’. Then maybe you will want to read this story again now that you know. Well done Ms Bree. Excellent.
Although I don’t really read contemporary romances after being introduced to Regency romance, I loved this book. Unexpected turns and twists to the plot, and I cried at the end. Good tears though. Great HEA. Highly recommend. In fact, I’ve not found any of Ms. Wolf’s books that I didn’t like. Love her ‘Love’s Second Chance Series.’
A well written, haunting tale, I found that I was hooked from the opening chapter all the way through to the surprising end. Although it is a romance, the story is more of a testimony to the nature of a love that refuses to let go even when all appears to be lost. As Jenna battles to make sense of her life, a stranger keeps appearing at unexpected times. She is drawn to him and somehow knows him, but being lost in a place that she can’t define, Jenna battles to make the connection to her association with him. Apart from Jenna, I found the rest of the characters interesting, if somewhat annoying at times. However, without them Jenna would not have been able to work through her confusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
THE STRANGER WHO CAME TO DINNER!!!
Wonderfully written, easy to follow, evenly paced, smooth flowing, intriguing read that grabs your attention and hold it till the end. An incredible storyline that keeps you captivated and on the edge of your seat. Scenes so realistic you can almost feel the heat. Great well developed characters that you can’t help but love as their personalities emerge and you get to know them. Rollercoaster of emotions that will throw you for loop. Bree did an exceptional job bringing this read to life.
3.5 Short review because I don’t want to give anything away. The beginning was a little slow but picks up when Jenna and Mystery Guy meet face to face after that I couldn’t put it down. The story is both mystery and romance, I like nearly all the characters except Abby she kinda grated a few times in the beginning. Overall the story is well told and engaging.
Just how powerful the strength of the ties of love are is what this story is all about.
It is an amazing and interestingly novel viewpoint and it made me stop to consider whether what was so cleverly written could in fact be a truth.
This novel shows a new and fresh theme for Bree Wolf and her story is just as engrossing as her previous historical novels and novellas.
What a treat it has been to read this story and once again to be thoroughly entertained.
With this in mind I am more than happy to recommend this book.
I voluntarily read a free copy of this ebook and the above is my unbiased review.
