It took one night with her to know she was my forever.
It took one minute for me to climb out of bed and drive away from her.
It’s taken me three years to confess that leaving her behind was the biggest mistake of my life.
I won’t stop until she knows what she means to me. I’ll convince her to listen to her heart.
It took one night for all of my dreams to come true.
It took one morning, waking up … true.
It took one morning, waking up alone, for those same dreams to come crashing down around me.
It’s taken me three years to confess that night changed me forever.
He says this time is different, but how do I open my heart up to a man who’s already ripped it to shreds?

See that list right there? That list is part of a list of my absolute favorites when reading! And Ms. Ryan got the nail on the head with this story! I instantly fell for Grady and Collins. I dove right in and couldn’t put them down. Their journey was a journey but omg it was such a good one!! Add in Caleb and Emily, and Tabby too and you have the whole package of friendship and love with this book. I was torn to finish because I didn’t really want to but needed to to see what happened. I’m on love. That’s what happened!!!
In all honesty, I don’t think there is a Kaylee Ryan book I haven’t loved! To me, Remedy was a different story than the typical one Kaylee writes, but I enjoyed it just as much as the others. This is a standard girl falls in love with big brother’s best friend story that starts after the big catalyst stories usually have as their climactic moment. This story picks up with the big brother’s best friend, Grady, comes back into town 3 years after looking to win Collins back. Collins, who has taken the past 3 years to harden herself to Grady and the situation, puts on a front of not wanting anything to do with him, which we can all so clearly see through. Grady does everything he can to prove to Collins he’s a changed man and fight for her, and after some time, she believes him and they start a secret relationship as to not rock the boat between brother and best friend. With a HEA ending, there was no drama or catalyst moment, which made reading it somewhat anti-climactic, but overall it was a great yet predictable read. I’d love to see if this will be a stand-alone or if Kaylee will give the other boys in the best friend group stories of their own as they were standard womanizers.
Wow I loved this one. Second chance romance are becoming my favorite. Kaylee wrote this beautifully. Just an amazing storyline. Grady loves his best friends sister. They grew up together and had one night. But because he was afraid he ran. Now he is back and wants Collins. Nothing will stop him. Collins hates him and is stubborn. He hurt her far to much. Will these two get together and get behind their past? I loved these two together amazing chemistry. Loved their story.
Remedy was my first book by author Kaylee Ryan and while I liked it a lot, I didn’t love it quite so much as others have. To be honest, although the story itself was above reproach, I did find parts of it repetitive. I was well past the 50% mark before I felt like we were getting somewhere with the relationship between these two.
This a story of second chance and forgiveness, lost loves and the desire to make things right.
Grady and Collins grew up next door to each other. Grady is Collin’s older brother’s best friend and she crushed on him all her teen years. Grady being four years older knew how she felt, but never reciprocate those feelings until after Collins first year away at college.
So, when he finally sees her as a woman rather than a cute friend, he’s overwhelmed and even more so when they hookup. But then he makes THE mistake.
Three years pass before he comes home determined to fix everything he did wrong. He’s never stopped thinking about Collins or the life he wants to share with her.
Collins was devastated when Grady just up and left and now that he’s back home, he thinks he can just pick up where they left off???
Grady’s got a fight on his hands to prove his worth to Collins and lets not forget about Caleb, Collins’s older brother. Will he go HULK on his best friend for breaking the ‘bro code’?
Grab your copy and find out.
I absolutely love this book, it is actually the first book of Kaylee Ryan’s that I have ever read and birthed my obsession with all her books. This is a second chance/friends to enemies to lovers/ brothers best friend/ alpha man who has come for the woman he loves something the author definitely knows how to write well. A great story, great characters and and HEA that will put a smile on your face!
Kaylee you are my Remedy!
I absolutely adored this book. I fell in love with Grady and Collins from the first chapter. I’m a sucker for second chances and Remedy is the perfect second chance, add in brothers best friend and you have a winner.
I loved it, loved it, loved it.
Who can resist an older brother’s best friend…
(If we are talking real life, me!) But book older brother’s best friend get me every time!
Sexy and alluring…not to mention years of crushing, make Grady irresistible. Even if he broke her heart…
Back and ready to make amends, apologies, and get the girl, Grady is going to have work hard to prove himself.
I loved this book so much!!
I discovered Kaylee Ryan’s work last year. Remedy gave me all the feels!! Grady and Collins were perfect together, and their story is one that I will not forget.
It has been three years since Grady Carmichael had been home. Little did he know that Collins Ward would change his life forever.
“I knew growing up Collins had a crush on me. It’s like a rite of passage for a younger sister to crush on the older brother’s best friend. Collins was always just Caleb’s little sister, four years younger than me. Tall and skinny, she was cute, but there was nothing there.
That night, things changed.”

This book was everything… I promise, you will thank me if you take a chance on this one and read it. I am a Kaylee Ryan fan for life!! I cannot get enough of her work at this point! I can’t wait for more from her!!
Thank you Kaylee for these characters. They will live in my heart forever!!

Beautifully written story great second chance and awesomely sweet happily ever after! I cried beautiful tears
WOW! AMAZING! Love all of Kaylee’s books, but this one is bumped up there to the top! I think I say that with every book she releases. I love a good second chance romance, but Kaylee puts some powerful stuff into this one. The feelings just grab at you, they pull you in and never let you go. Still days later I’m thinking about this book!
GO READ IT, NOW!!!!
Collins & Grady get a thumbs up! They are so sweet & perfect for each other! I love that Grady recognizes the mistake he made years ago & works hard to remedy that and get her trust back. I love the interaction w/ their families. The only thing that didn’t really work for me was part of the reasoning Collins gives for not wanting to “go public.” She has a few reasons, and mostly I understood where she was coming from, but there was just that little … annoyance… that I just couldn’t sweep under the reading rug, unfortunately.
However, even with that, I highly enjoyed this story, loved the characters (& pacing, for the most part), and the ending was 100% perfect!! : )
Three years ago Collins’ heart was full and shattered all in the same night. Grady knew three years ago that he made the biggest mistake of his life walking away. Now he is back and he is ready for the fight of his life.
AH-MAZ-ING!! Collins and Grady’s story blew me away. What a beautiful and emotional second chance romance. Full of love, passion, and forgiveness, Remedy will suck you in quickly and won’t let go. Beautifully written, every word will make you fall deeper in love with this couple! Absolutely stunning!
“Only you can cure this ache in my chest. You’re my remedy, baby.” ~Grady
Kaylee Ryan certainly knows how to write a very swoon worthy story and a very swoony hero.
This story was full of second chances and learning how to forgive and for never assuming and just lead with your heart. It was so beautiful.
I loved both main characters you can see why Collins was closed off and quite reluctant to jump into a relationship with Grady, in saying that though Grady would not give her a choice and i loved seeing his determination to win Collins back.
This love story defiantly had to overcome adversity and obstacles and it was such a joy to read and enjoy their story.
I love all the side characters in this novel they were all such a big part of the story, they funny, supportive.
If you are a fan of Kaylee Ryan you certainly won’t be disappointed with this story and so well written and so romantic.
Love this author and this book! Beautiful second chance romance.
Oh wow this book is beautiful. It’s a story of regret and getting a second chance with the love of your life. Grady and Collins’ story totally blew me away.
Collins had crushed on her brothers best friend Grady forever when the crush finally became reality and she found herself in his arms it meant the world to her but at the same time the feelings she evoked in Grady scared the life out of him and he ran leaving her heartbroken and him with the biggest regret of his life.
Now 3 years later he’s back. It won’t be easy, its going to be the fight of his life but he’s determined to win back her heart at any cost.
In the blink of an eye Kaylee Ryan just has this knack of pulling you in to these amazing stories she writes and Remedy is definitely one of my favourites, to grab yourself a copy asap. You will not be disappointed!!!!

There’s butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of books, ugly-cry kind of books, and then there’s Remedy by Kaylee Ryan. This book wholeheartedly deserves to fall under the stars in your eyes kind of books.
In her latest release, Remedy, Kaylee Ryan introduces us to Grady and Collins. Grady is freshly graduated and on his way to becoming a full-time doctor and Collins is already a full-time nurse.
“She’s real, she’s my heart and I wouldn’t have it any other way.”
These two have an unconventional connection as Grady is Collins’ older brother’s best friend and as rules go, the possibility of anything is a definite no-go. Not to mention, crushing on someone isn’t all that serious and if you are the younger sister it’s almost a rite of passage to have a crush on your brother’s best friend.
Their story starts off with a bang and there’s not a moment in the entirety of this book that doesn’t keep your attention. It is filled with emotion, beauty and a determination that will quite literally have you in tears-the good kind.
Grady is sweet and gentle and is very eager to get what he wants even if it takes a lifetime of trying. It is impossible not to root for him to get there. Collins has all the reason in the world to not just jump into something. She’s scared it would turn out like the first time but, with time, she too sees that maybe there is so much more if you just let the past stay where it should.
There is always a risk involved when you follow your heart, whether it be outside forces or your closest friends, but in the end, things have a way of working out the way it is supposed to.
“I told her she was my remedy, but now I see that I was hers as well.”
Kaylee Ryan has a way of capturing your attention with her unique characters and telling their stories that will leave you wanting and needing more.
This was not my first Kaylee Ryan book but it is probably one of my favorites. Grady is probably the most sincere hero I’ve read. He knew he screwed up the moment he did what he did. He stayed the course though so he could come back and claim his girl.
I loved how Collins didn’t just let him back in because he showed back up. She also didn’t hold her hurt feelings over him. She let him know how hurt she was and was ready to at least be friendly with him. Grady of course wasn’t ok with that and he fought for her.
I loved the slow burn and the fact that there was no outside drama for them. The second chance trope is hard enough but to add brothers best friend on top of it was a huge undertaking. Some of the choices Collins made has me calling her an idiot. In the end everything and everyone was exactly where they should be. – Laura

I am a huge fan of Kaylee Ryan, but Remedy may be my new favorite! Grady and Collins are everything! I laughed and cried reading this book, but it was so amazing FIVE BIG STARS!!
Remedy by Kaylee Ryan was a fabulous read!
As soon as I picked up this novel, I knew that I was in store for a treat! Brother’s best friend is one of my all time favourite romance tropes, and this novel certainly fit that description to perfection.
Grady and Collins have so much of a past and history, that is impossible for them to not have an overall connection amongst each other. Whats even better, is that the connection they share runs so much deeper than that of a purely physical level. They understand one another, and know each other on a deeper, more personal and emotional level, that will make readers everywhere fall head over heels in love with their story.
I highly recommend this novel to everyone. Go and grab it for yourself today.
