I like all of her books. This one was no exception.
J. A. Jance’s novels are always entertaining, and complex enough (both plot and characters) to make me want to come back for more: more of the book, more of the characters, more of the author. I like them all, and would recommend them to anyone looking for good, consistently well-written books with believable people and a believable story line.
She’s one of my favorites. If she writes a book I read it.
I love the whole Sheriff Joanna Brady series…they just keep getting better and better.

All of jances books are very entertaining
I really liked how the author pulled the story together and the unusual settings.
A good read. Another in one of the author’s ongoing fiction series featuring women law enforcement officers in Arizona.
Loved it as I do all of jjvance.
This is another great Joanna Brady Novel. I love the character, Jance’s development of her and her on-going story.
Great book. Excellent writer. My first J. A. Jance book. My wife has read many. According to my wife, a lot of the JA Jance books are set in Brisbee, Arizona as this one was with the same female sheriff. This is not the first in the series but I did not feel like I was missing anything. I did not even know it was not the first until I talked to my wife after reading the whole book which went really fast–less than two days. The author has done her homework. The “police work” feels authentic.
Excellent who done it and police procedural. Main character – the sheriff- is believable and realistic. I will read more from this author.
Janice alway s has interesting twist and turns. Her location lends itself to the mystery.
I enjoy all of J. A. Jance books, this one was entertaining and kept you reading to the end. Always left waiting for the next book
I love these books!
