Selena
Keanu has it all wrong.

And I’ve paid for it every day since.
I didn’t think it was possible to miss someone this much, but my entire being aches for him in a way that isn’t healthy.
It’s why I continue to keep my distance even though it’s killing me inside.
No one understands me the way he does, so, when my ugly past returns, threatening to undo years of progress, he’s the first person I run to.
If anyone can keep me safe, it’s the love of my life.
Maybe, this time, I’m strong enough to be the woman he deserves.
If my past doesn’t take me from him first.

Wow, what a great story! Written in perfection, because this story contains a very sensitive topic as well. Please read the trigger warning ahead!
Keanu and Selena’s story is a sweet one, but with a heavy cloud hanging over their heads. I admire the author how she still could pull off a beautiful story about this. Loved it!
I kindly received an arc from the author and voluntarily left a review
As a huge fan of the Kennedy Boys series, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this new episode of the saga and it sure didn’t disappoint. Probably the best yet. A story that really tugs at your heartstrings, you really feel for Selena and what she’s been through. Maybe she messed up leaving the love of her life but now they’ve been given a second chance.
Keanu is so sweet. I love the way he looks out for Selena. Not that he’s perfect, Keanu could have handled the break up better and not become a drunken man whore. Luckily he redeems himself, being there when he’s needed the most, showing a maturity that most 20 year olds haven’t got
As minor characters go, you see Kent in a whole new light. Can’t wait for his story. Will have to be patient as Keaton is the next one in line.
Issues dealt with are very up to date and ,as ever, give us something to reflect on. This one is very emotional indeed ,dealing with PTSD, abuse and trauma. Having said that, the story has its fair share of action as well. Keven is involved yet again as security adviser and FBI agent. All in all, a must read.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book
Heartwrenchingly amazing. Deserves more than 5 stars.
Holy cow!!! This book definitely takes the cake in my book Siobhan has such a way with her books that I just can’t put them down keanu and Selena are my favorite couple considering all that selena went through in her short life. This is truly and amazing story. Highly recommend this book but it’s not the fait of heart.
A past that haunts her both in the light and darkness of a day.
Forever scarred but determined to breathe freely is she.
Regret at letting him go claws at her heart, and a desperate need for him brings her to his doorstep.
He cant believe she’s not a figment of his imagination.
Sat upon his doorstep devestated, can he bring her back and keep her safe in his arms?
This book will break your heart, and shatter your soul with the hints of her past.
But her strength and determination will inspire your heart to reconnect and you will be left with a warmth you both understand and fully embrace.
What an amazing character she is. I feel so unworthy knowing all she endured to tell her story.
Keanu is the perfect man. From his looks to his actions that are always so pure and thoughtful. He is mine ladies!!
Siobhan has simply done it again! her books always resonate deeply within and her characters steal both your heart and mind along with your dreams too!
I can’t get enough of this author she never fails to deliver and always leaves me in a book funk afterwards as shes in a class of her own.
Five stars through and through!
So emotional! I loved this story. It had everything i expected from a Siobhan Davies book.
Keanu is the sweetest thing ever! He always puts selenas needs before his own! And selena is so strong, i love her!
Such a perfect couple and a perfect story. I cant wait for the last two brothers stories
You can never go wrong reading a Siobhan Davis Book… but this, this book is a MUST READ.
Keanu and Selena’s story has always had me curious when reading the earlier books but I was not prepared for the emotional rollacoaster this book had me on. My heart broke for Selena but I couldn’t be more happier, that they both found each other again.
This book may be triggering to some, so make sure to read Siobhan Davis advice. I love how this book draws on so many real life issues that can sometimes be swept under the rug. It’s definitely an emotional read but it is brilliant!
Everytime I read one of the newer books in this series, it makes it harder to decide who my favourite Kennedy is! I loved seeing a bit more of Kent in this book, and how thoughtful he can be. I definitely can’t wait to read more in this series!
4-4.25 STARS
There has always been a bit of mystery surrounding Keanu and Selena’s relationship. Now, in this 8th and much anticipated installment to her Kennedy Boys series, Siobhan Davis delivers all the answers in this emotionally intense story that will have you swooning over Keanu for years to come!
Selena’s backstory is a heartbreaking one, for sure, but it’s also a testament to her strength of spirit and her resolve to move beyond the past. Despite being gritty and raw, this couple’s story is also beautiful and inspirational. As the story unfolds and the past is slowly revealed, you’ll not only root for Selena to regain control over her life, but you’ll begin to see Keanu in a whole new light.
As with each subsequent book in this series, I loved Selena and Keanu’s story and can’t wait for the next Kennedy boy’s story to be told!!
Siobhan Davis wrote another emotional book to grip you and make you fall in love with yet another Kennedy brother!
Releasing Keanu is Selena and Keanu’s second chance romance. It took me a little bit to get into, but once the book got going I was feeling all of the emotions.
I didn’t realise just how much I would fall for Keanu. He was romantic, sweet and passionate and his love for Selena knew no bounds.
There are some trigger warnings in this book though, the prologue caught me completely off guard and I was a bit like holy shit, Siobhan Davis is not messing around here!
All in all, a heartfelt second chance romance that can be read as a stand-alone, but if you want to know all of the characters better then I suggest reading the whole series.
This one was one of my favorites of the series! Keanu is such a sweetheart with Selena. He’s always so supportive of her; he does whatever he needs to in order to better understand what Selena has gone through. It was brutal what Selena had to endure as a child; she’s a tough woman for making it through. There are some beyond disturbing individuals out there and it’s sad that things like what happened to Selena happen in real life. Selena understandably has PTSD from what happened; this causes her to have issues with intimacy and anxiety. It’s been a long journey for Selena and she’s finally making progress. I like how she’s getting the help she needs and is being truthful with her situation. It’s tough to read about what happened when they were separated, but unfortunately, the separation was needed. There needed to be growth as individuals; unfortunately, Keanu’s growth wasn’t exactly a good thing most times. I do wish their reunion would’ve happened a bit differently, but there’s a deep love and connection between them that shines through.
There’s some suspense that added to my enjoyment of the story; there’s a possibility that some dangerous men could be after Selena, so Keanu and his FBI brother do what they can to protect her. I loved how accepting she was that she needs help and protection; she had some common sense about the situation. I do wish there was more excitement to the situation though; we the readers learn about what happened after the fact, so I would’ve liked for there to be a bit more on scene danger. It was awesome seeing Keanu’s family all come together to help each other! I still don’t like Kent; he’s such a gross manwhore, but loved all the other brothers! Interested to see how the author redeems him; hoping it’s not a pregnancy thing. I’m not too sure of Keaton either; I have an idea about him, but I hope that’s not it since that’s not my type of thing I like to read, but we’ll see. Still excited to see where the rest of the Kennedys end up; only 2 more brothers left!
This book has touched on so many real subjects that many dont know about, but are very real.
It has been handled with care and really sensitive. I enjoyed reading this book and seeing how the FMC overcame her struggles to just do normal everyday activities that the rest of us take for granted. I love how the MC’s built their relationship up and how the story flowed. Overall this book was well written.

“I have never loved anyone the way I love Keanu. I know I never will.” Selena
Releasing Keanu is the latest installment in the Kennedy Boys Series by Siobhan Davis. This is story contains sensitive subject matter that may cause triggers for readers. Please make sure to read the authors trigger warning prior to reading this story.
Selena has spent her the last 10 years of her life in fear. Reeling from deep rooted trauma, her trust in others is very limited and she’s very guarded. When she finds herself staring at a demon from her past, she runs to the one person she’s always trusted, Keanu, who also happens to be her ex-boyfriend.
Keanu has spent the last two years empty. After a devastating breakup from Selena, he tumbled down a dark hole but still found himself missing the only woman he ever cared about.
When he finds her disheveled and panicked on his doorstep, instant protection mode goes into effect and Keanu knows he’ll never let Selena go again.
This story!!!! It about killed me. I literally hurt for both Selena and Keanu. This story is ultimately about healing. It’s about finding the way out of darkness and into light. The subject matter was incredibly dark, but Siobhan again handled it so eloquently.
As with all of Siobhan’s books the writing was flawless. The storyline was deep and thought provoking. It had substance. The character development was perfect. Selena and Keanu will probably be my favorite Siobhan couple. Even though they were faced with tough circumstances they persevered, and they did t united. When Selena was weak, Keanu was strong.
I just can’t fully articulate how good this story was. To take such dark subject matter and write it so skillfully and tactfully is hard but time and time again Siobhan shows that it can be done.
5 star read and the perfect way to close out 2019!
I dearly love the Kennedy family and this whole series. I must admit, though, there were parts of Selena’s story that were incredibly difficult for me to read. I think Ms. Davis did the story justice and handled sensitive issues with grace. I’m so glad I read this and finally got to understand more about Keanu – “the quiet one” was how I thought of him before – and Selena, the mysterious model. The story was rife with emotion, had some action, and wrapped up with a deeply satisfying ending.
As always, I didn’t want the story to end and I’m truly looking forward to the next novel in the series!
Releasing Keanu, is the eighth title in The Kennedy Boys series, but can easily be read as a standalone.
In previous titles we were introduced to Keanu and his girlfriend Selena, and witnessed his behaviour spiral out of control after they broke up.
Keanu is probably the most sensitive and patient of the Kennedy boys, but he’s also loving, caring and compassionate, which is exactly what Selena needs. Selena is a survivor, and she’s incredibly strong, resilient and independent despite the trauma of her past.
Releasing Keanu is an emotional and angsty read, that contains many triggers, but is at it’s heart a story of love, healing and hope.
I love the Kennedy Boys! With each and every book Siobhan Davis makes me adore them more.
Keanu and Selina’s story is gut wrenching and heartbreaking. I cried for Selina more than once. I felt Keanu’s pain in my heart. Releasing Keanu is a second chance romance.
Keanu is one of the triplets in the Kennedy family, he’s also the model in the family. Selina’s past is absolutely horrific. She was kidnapped at 10 and sold in a sex trafficking ring. She watched her best friend be shot in the head and was abused repeatedly until she was able to escape. Her present is filled with anxiety, PTSD, and nightmares. Her pain jumped out of the pages and it just hit me right in the heart.
Releasing Keanu is angsty, and emotionally raw. Davis makes you feel all the sadness and pain for both of these two characters. This is the book that definitely made me feel all the emotions the most. I could not get enough of this book. Keanu has to be the sweetest of all the Kennedy boys so far. The way he’s able to totally forget about himself and sometimes focus on Selina is so swoony. Selina is the most broken of all the girls to date. She’s been through so much.
I love that through all the hurt and pain in this story that their love for each other is able to put the pieces back together. The puzzle may never be completely unbroken again but together they can be beautifully broken together. The cracks will slowly fill with new memories and the love they have for each other. Keanu and Selina gave me all the feels.
Releasing Keanu maybe my new favorite book of the series! I just loved everything about Keanu and Selina. Their story was heartbreaking, angsty, emotional, and left me feeling extremely happy they got their happy ever after. If there is one person that deserves it after everything they have been through it’s Selina.
I’m absolutely addicted to the Kennedy Boys and so sad I have to wait until September 2020 to get Keaton’s book. But I cannot wait to see what she gives us with his story!
Releasing Keanu deals with very serious subject matter so please read the trigger warnings before beginning the book. It is a second chance romance that is part of the Kennedy Boys series. I haven’t read any of the other Kennedy Boys books and I was not lost so it can be read as a standalone.
Selena and Keanu have been apart for two years, but they have never stopped loving each other. Selena’s past was very difficult, but she fights to become a survivor and overcome everything from her past. When her past threatens once again, she finds refuge with Keanu.
Keanu is a sweetheart. He was hurt by Selena, but he doesn’t hesitate to help when he finds her on his doorstep. He is so gentle with her and does everything in his power to protect and nurture her. They find that they are much stronger together than apart.
While this dealt with a very dark subject matter, the story in whole is uplifting. You won’t want to miss this heartbreaking, emotional, and beautiful love story.
Phenomenal dark story, Keanu and Selena’ story was amazing, it’s full of an emotions, Selena’s backstory is not a pretty one so be warned. Keanu was a fool and she left him, when she comes for his help he makes everything to have her back. The story is sweet, but still with angst, not as much as other books by the author but you will find a story that will touch your heart.
Releasing Keanu is the 8th book in the Kennedy boys series and the first one I’ve read. This book was so good I will definitely be going back and reading them all from book one.
This is the story about Keanu and Selena. It picks up two years after Selena broke up with Keanu and both are suffering from the loss of one another. Selena is dealing with a very traumatic and tragic past. She is a strong, fierce, determined young woman fighting to become independent and break the chains from her past that so deeply interfere with her present.
Keanu, what can I say about him, major swooning going on with him. He is heartbroken and his dream is to get Selena back and to never let her go. When something from Selena’s past sends her into a tailspin and she ends up on Keanu’s doorstep, he is ready to do anything and be anything for Selena.
This book brings all the feels! This book had my feelings all over the place, from heartbreak, to hopeful, to in love. Siobhan Davis knows how to take sensitive subject matter and bring it to light and write a beautiful story around it.
This book deals with strong subject matter and may be a trigger for some.
ROMANTIC AND HEARTBREAKING
I voluntarily received an arc for my honest review. This book deals with some very strong and dark subject matter. Selina’s character has been through something so horrific yet her strength grows everyday. She has been in love with Keanu for as long as she can remember. There’s no one she’s ever wanted more. Keanu is my new favorite book boyfriend. His character is the most loving, caring man and he is so considerate of Selina’s feelings. When details start to be revealed of what Selina went through it sent chills up my back. I was crying on more than one occasion but when Selina remembers what happened to Juanita I was bawling. This story is romantic yet terrifying. There isn’t as much excitement and suspense in this book as I’m used to in Siobhan’s books. This is my first book in the Kennedy Boy’s series but it most definitely won’t be my last. I will be going back to the beginning and getting to know all the Kennedy boys I really curious about Keaton and Kent. This book grabbed ahold of my heart strings and never let go and I loved every minute of it. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
What a journey for these two! I am glad they found their way back to each other…quite the suspenseful story, but something we should all be aware of. I really enjoyed having all Kennedy characters involved. I can’t wait for the next installment! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
This story was heart breakingly beautiful.
This was my first Kennedy brother book and I’ll definitely be going back and devouring them all as this story will haunt me for a long time and from the glimpses of the characters the other stories will be just like it.
I’m sitting here a ball of emotions so I’ll cut my rambling short so I don’t spoil by accident, so I’ll just say…. ONE CLICK IMMEDIATELY
