A Second Chance At Love
Lily’s daughter Tara usually spent the summer months with her dad, but this summer’s different. Its been ten years since the divorce, her ex-husband is soon to be married, and in her quest to find someone with whom she’ll hopefully spend the rest of her life with, Lily ends up with a sociopath whose intent is to create a perfect werewolf mate because he believes that he’s the perfect werewolf.
A second chance at love is hard to come by, and it wasn’t hard to miss the fact that Ethan was troubled. Giving no explanation at all, he suddenly left without a goodbye. He had shifted while in high school and had to embrace the new him before he could come back to Lily. Much had been left unsaid. Lots of regrets and heartbreak. Ethan was on the trail of a serial killer, but he was back, and it was obvious that they belonged together.
This book will captivate your imagination and your heart. Awesome read Ms. Raines.

4.5 stars Very good contemporary werewolf romance. The blurb sets a good start to the story. Sarah has the summer to herself and suddenly Ethan her high school boyfriend shows up. Kaden shows up and also stirs her but Ethan warns her to leave. There are many secrets, surprises and evil in St. Neuri so Sarah has a lot to deal with as does the town. I enjoyed this 4th book in the series. I received a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Raines.
Lily a divorced single mom is having her daughter Tara spend the summer with her dad. She has the summer by herself which she’s glad because the St. Neuri newspaper is printing that women are being killed and her daughter is safe out of town. Her old high school boyfriend Ethan shows up at her store to buy aspirin for a headache which brings back the old memories of their breakup. Later that night when she closing the store, she hears a women scream and goes to help. There’s a large wolf and together they escape to Lily’s store and the police show up. The women Lily saved introduces herself as Janelle. Janelle warns her that a man will bring danger in her life and don’t trust him. She finishes closing the store and she tries to start her car to go home but it won’t start and Kaden shows up and jumps her car. The next day both call her, Ethan tells her to leave St. Neuri and Kaden asks her out for a date. Does she trusts Ethan or Kaden? This is a enjoyable fourth book in the series as Lily struggles with her feelings and learns about werewolves living in St. Neuri. I volunteer to read and review this ARC
Loved this story. Lilly and Her love dont want to spoil anything were a good match. I cant wait for the next book and cant help but feel there is a build up to a much larger story.

Growing up, living, raising children in the same town all your life, and seeing change all around but feeling stuck has Lily wishing for more. Lilys adventure with trying a new relationship may not have been the best course, mystery, danger now stalk her life and she wants slow and boring back. I really liked the characters, the story did feel stunted there at the beginning but picked up. The imagery was really good and the fact that a second chance at love gives it the upbeat vibe to push to the end.

This is an ongoing saga about the city of St Neuri and it’s secrets. This could still be read as a stand-alone as there is enough background information available. Good storyline with twists and turns. The characters are really interesting and dynamic. Another great St Neuri read!

I received this book as a gift as an advanced reading copy and I would like to give my honest opinion of what I read.
I have read several of Abigail books from this series and each one is original and unique. This book is a sort of second chance book, but with complications involved. Lilly and Ethan were High School sweethearts. He was her first and the often talked about their future together. Then one day in their senior year he didn’t show up at school. She was concerned about what was wrong with him. When she got to his house to told her to go away. That they were done, He didn’t want her any more. Her world was shattered it wasn’t long after that Ethan dropped out of school and he along with his family left town. It took a long time for Lilly to get her heart back together. Eventually she did meet Troy and together they had a daughter named Tara. Tara was now 16 years old, and Lilly and Troy have been divorced for 10 years. Every summer Tara spent her time with her Dad whom l lived four hours away. Tara had also just let Lilly know that she was going to go to College close to her Dad. It was a lot for her to take in; and when Tara left Lilly felt a little lost.
Lilly owned a store on the corner of a street in downtown St; Neuri. Her store was doing well and with new people moving back into St. Neuri since James Masterson had started making improvements to the town. The town was changing the town that she was born in and grown up in. While working one day she looked up and was shocked to see Ethan standing in the aspirin aisle, she could not believe her eye seeing him there. She felt the anger surge through her seeing him after the way that he had dumped her with out any really explanation. The only thing that he had to tell her that he considered important was that she needed to leave town for a while. To go on vacation or something but it wasn’t safe and he needed to leave. Well that didn’t sit well with her and she told him off. There was a reason for him telling her this you see it seems that the town had acquired a serial killed and dead women were showing up on a regular basis. Lilly knew how to take care of herself and she was incidence that Ethan thought he could tell her what to do. Ethan had secrets that he would not tell her.
In the mean time she meant the charming man named Kaden. Their first date was to a coffee shop. Then they went for walks in parks and he was a gentleman the entire time. She thought that she could finally move forward with her life with this man. That is until she found out that he is also holding secrets. Who could she trust, did she even want to find out or was she going to be forced to see these secrets unfold in front of her, with her life on the line. This is a great story with twist and turns to it. I have to say that this is book that you really must read to get the full grasp of what this woman is going through.
Lily had grown up in St. Neuri along with Ethan. They dated in high school. In their senior year he dumps her with no explanation, drops out of school, and moves. Lily married and divorced in the time after and had a daughter Tara. While Tara is away visiting her dad, Ethan has moved home Lily discovers. When she sees him old questions and feelings arise. One night, Lily heard a scream and rescues Janelle from some form of a beast. Janelle warns her to stay wary of a man that would lead her down a dark path. She meets a new man to town, Kaden. He is romancing her and Ethan is warning her to get out of town with all the murders occurring.
Will Lily listen to Ethan? What will happen if she does not? Who is she in danger from? Ethan? Kaden? Who is the killer? All Lily wants is an explanation why Ethan left all those years ago and to have a good relationship with a man. This is the fourth book in this series and will lead the reader on another werewolf hunt for murdering others. It is a fast-paced read with a second chance at love. Ethan and Lily were a couple in High School. Then he broke off with her and left. Years later Ethan showed up again still hilt himself away from her and would not tell her what happened to them. Some things you just can’t get over. Lily had lived her life and tried to be happy. Still some things you can’t just get over. Then Lily meet someone she thought that she could be happy with Kaden. Then things started to get strange. Excellent story and I love this series. The author can come up with different things that I would have never thought of. She does an awesome job and I love them all. I received a complimentary review copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a honest review.
Lily is a normal human with a teenage daughter. She has been divorced for 10 years and her daughter, a high school senior, is visiting her ex for the summer. Lily is starting to feel the pressure of being an empty nester as her daughter will go away to college in another year. She owns her own store but has lived for her daughter. This is where the action starts and it really gets interesting. An old flame comes back to town, a serial killer is loose and she decides to date a super hot guy. Werewolves, rituals and hot flames are the order of the day but everything is not all good for Lily. This is a must read to see if Lily is on the serial killers menu and if she ends with a hot werewolf…or just ends.

Lily spent years raising her daughter mostly alone, except for the summers she spent with her father.
And now that her daughter is getting ready to go away to college, closer to her father, her ex tells her about his plans to marry his long time girl friend.
Lily unsurprisingly feel like life is moving on and she is left behind – living in the house her husband left for her and their daughter, running the shop he and she had started together – remnants of the past life, without the new life in them.
Until a blast from her past comes into her store, and she sees her most significant ex beau. She meets a new man, who is a bit mysterious.
Things seem a bit tangled in St Neuri.
An interesting future awaits her, if she can survive – and if she can figure out what is really in her heart for the men she has cared about.
The future starts now – as long as she trusts and survives

Ethan and Sarah were young lovers. She experienced all of her firsts with Ethan but he suddenly became cold and distant towards her and pushed her away. She married someone else but is now back in town. She meets a man and Ethan warns her about who she should trust and so does another one of her friends. Sarah is stubborn and doesn’t listen and it leads to trouble. She grows close to Kaden but she still has feelings for Ethan. Who will she choose and can she trust them with her feelings.

Had one sec scene. I prefer more but this would be good for those that don’t like A lot of sex in books.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Rekindling With The Wild by Abigail Raines is book 4 in the Werewolves of St. Neuri. This book brings this series to a close. Each book in this quad set follows a different couple, but each relationship is key to the overall St. Neuri story. This final installment is Lily and Ethan’s story. I really enjoyed that it was softer closing than I expected. There was the action and sexiness that we expect in St. Neuri, but the romantic story was really well written. Who hasn’t wondered at one time or another what happened to their first love? The storyline was really heartfelt. I would highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a shifter story with a side of heart.

I devoured this book like it was my favourite box of chocolates
Oh this is Lily and Ethans story and this one goes back so many years ago when they were in high school and things didn’t end well for them….well it couldn’t when Ethan started to turn into a wolf now could it?
But life had moved on and lily had married, had a little girl, got divorced and spent the rest of her time looking after her daughter and her corner shop. And then things changed and that’s what this book is about. How lily and her life changed and how the werewolves of St Neuri have touched another life.
A good story that had me entertained from the start. The only gripe I have about this series is that I wish the books lasted longer or is it that I’m devouring them? Either way I enjoy them
Sarah moves back home and reconnects with Ethan, her high school boyfriend. She is also drawn to Kaden. Her life is endanger, she just doesn’t realize it. Good book.

This story is awesome! The Characters of this series get better and better! St. Nueri survives with these wolf shifters everywhere! Lily owns a shop in downtown St Nueri and her old flame from
High school just happens to drop back into her life, with no explanation of why he dropped out of it in the first place. Ethan is still carrying some secret around with him. Can he and Lily have their HEA after all?
This story was just great! Loved it!

This is the fourth book in the series of the Wolves of St.Neuri. absolutely love the whole series and also this book. The series is a more realistic look at how relationships take time to grow even when they know they love. Still has a lots of action and hurdles to overcone before their HEA.

This book had a different approach from the rest of the books in the series. I loved that the main characters already knew each other since they were young. The story does not explain in great depths why Sarah is now divorced but that is Ok, the husband does not sound very interesting. What is important in this story is that she still loves Ethan, but he left her to protect her. I will not give away any more spoilers, so read this book it is sweet ,fun and so worth your time. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and look forward to reading more from this author.
