Loved this book. The characters and story are beautifully crafted.
Super as Tamara Alexander’s books always are
I enjoyed seeing the characters grow and develope. Had a hard time putting it down .
The troubled love story of Kathryn and Larson had unexpected twists that kept you wondering if they could ever be together again. It was uplifting to see how God worked in Larson’s life to bring him to salvation.
Loved it and would recommend it to anyone who loves to read historical fiction. I’ve read everything this author has written. Really appreciate her style!
I got this book on a deal for $.99 and flew through it. I tend to be a cheap reader and get frustrated having to buy the next books in the series at full price. The characters were well developed and I really wanted to see where they went. I ended up purchasing the next two in the series on sale, but still spent $15. If you like Old West …
AUDIBLE REVIEW
This is the first book I have read/listen to by this author. It was intense with so many emotions I almost had to stop. For a story to bring all of those out you know it is amazing.
A story of love that was not enough without understanding and a strong faith that had to be found. The narrator read slowly and I sped up a little to …
There was something innately beautiful about this novel. Rekindled tells the love story of the couple Kathryn and Larson Jennings. In the beginning, their marriage is in shambles. It is a bit difficult to see the brokenness of their relationship manifest in the novel. Kathryn’s music box, a symbol of their love, shatters; Larson’s internal scars …
I read Rekindled many years ago and knew then that Tamera Alexander’s debut novel promised a great career for this author. But I didn’t review it at the time and couldn’t remember much about it, other than that I really enjoyed it, so I’m working my way through this series again. Let me just say that reading the three books, one right after the …
I’ve never read a Tamara A. book that was not EXCELLENT! The story line is so developed and the characters are so inspiring. Love this series.
There is something to said for a book that makes you love flawed characters. Maybe it’s the lessons they learn that teach you something about yourself…or maybe it’s the way their broken human nature is something with which it is so easy to identify. Whatever the case, as I got to know the characters in the book, I needed to turn the pages faster …
I loved this book and the others in the series. One of my favorite authors!
This was not a bad book. I really liked the beginning. About halfway through the book, however, I started to wish it would just hurry up and get somewhere. While the action moved well at the beginning, I felt it took forever to get to a resolution. I was pleased with how things were resolved, though. Had I been reading the book instead of …
Everything Tamara Alexander writes is magical
Such a tragic, yet lovely story. Just when you think they’ll work things out, a wrench gets thrown into the plot. It just keeps going. Strong faith and a growing faith, is it enough to bring them back?!
I loved this book. It remains my favorite Christian fiction read and my favorite Tamera Alexander book.
Makes you think about your own relationship. What it is based on. Definitely want to read the other two books in these series.
This was an excellent read. Well balanced and full of insight on many levels spirituality. High recommended
I am a hard sell on fiction; I’ve always been of the thought that truth is stranger than fiction. However, I loved this novel and quickly read the others in the series. Great characters. Unbelievable in places, but that’s what imagination and fiction is for!
Great book.
