When each of these books were first released individually, I had a chance to read them. The reviews I originally left for each one are below.
Reign To Ruin:
This is the fourth book in the Myth of Omega series but revolves around a completely different couple than the first three books did. Since it’s a different couple, technically it could be read as a standalone, but I don’t recommend it. Reading the first three help to introduce the reader to the Omegaverse they all live in, as well as the dynamic of the characters. I think it would be much easier to follow along if you had read the books in order.
Amara is the team leader for a group of Omegas who have secretly infiltrated the Eiros castle for the last couple years. Malloron is King of Eiros and has been searching for an Omega to be his Queen for years. What will happen when Malloron discovers Amara is an Omega secretly posing as a Beta? I liked the dynamic between the two and thought they were actually good together. It took me longer to feel that way about the characters from the first three books, Cailyn and Drocco. I was surprised at how Malloron was towards Amara though. We were introduced to King Malloron in Cailyn and Drocco’s story and the impression of him was that he was an evil tyrant out to torture Omegas. In my opinion, he was not near as cruel to Amara as Drocco was to Cailyn. It will be interesting to see what happens to the couple, especially after the cliffhanger we were left with at the end of this book. I can’t wait.
Reign To Ravage:
This is the fifth book in the series and the second that features Amara and Malloron. The books in this series are not standalones. You would definitely want to read book four before reading this one. Although, I would recommend starting from the very beginning. Books 1-3 are Cailyn and Drocco’s story but Amara and Malloron make appearances. Not to mention, they are really good, too.
My feelings about Malloron are all over the place. There are times I think he really truly does care about Amara but then he turns around and acts like an overbearing a**. We do find out more about Malloron’s childhood in this book. It helps to understand him and his action a little more. I even got emotional for him, the boy he was and the man he now is. Amara is one fierce, independent, and strong individual. I love that, despite the connection, she still questioned it and Malloron’s motive. She didn’t just accept the “true mate” excuse and roll over to Malloron’s behavior. On a side note, I am interested in Eric and Bannon’s connection and am hoping they’ll get their own story one day.
This one ends in one heck of a cliffhanger and I will be anxiously waiting for book six to be released. It can’t come soon enough.
Reign To Rule:
Book five ended on such a cliffhanger that I couldn’t wait to finally see how Amara and Malloron’s story continued, then concluded. I was not disappointed. Amara and Malloron are a dynamic force together. However, they are both very stubborn. Will Amara quit putting the bond the two share in jeopardy? Will Malloron realize he’s a much stronger ruler with Amara by his side instead of silent behind him? Once the danger they’re in passes, will they be able to admit how they feel, communicate clearly, and work to rule their lands together? I highly recommend reading this one to find out. You will need to read books four and five first though. I would recommend reading books one through three, too. They’re fantastic and the feature couple from that trilogy makes appearances in this trilogy.
*I voluntarily reviewed Advance Reader Copies of these books. This is my honest review.*
Malloron is an alpha who is unapologetic about the mayhem he causes but he was so devious I found myself smiling while reading. Amara wades into bargain after bargain that always seemingly twists in Malloron’s favor. I am not sure why Amara wasn’t immediately enthralled with him because I certainly was. This was an outstanding read filled with magic, mysterious dungeons, and a couple with a scorching chemistry that had this reader fanning herself vigorously. I recommend this one!
I love the Myth of Omega books! How the author manages to create this whole world of different cultures and characters is amazing. This one is all about King Malloron and his quest for an Omega. The way the author weaves her tale of talent crafters and their magic seems deeply intricate to the whole Omegaverse and the disappearance of the Omegas. There is plenty of mystery, sex, trials, and eventually, happy endings. Having read Malloron and Amara’s story before, I really enjoyed this new boxed set because I felt like I was reading a new story (that I highly recommend.) And, I enjoyed the bonus chapters that shared more insight to the main characters.

Hot reads
I love books like this where you start off almost hating the main male character. I won’t call him a hero because he really isn’t. Lol But by the end of the trilogy you actually like him!
I LOVED Amara. She was such a great character! She is the one who helps not really change Malloron, but brings his better character forward. She sees the good in Malloron. Maybe not at first, but later she does. And I loved how the trilogy ends. It is a unique one, but it made me very happy.
Wow! I loved the series. I actually read book 1 of this series and I have to say this is just as engaging. It’s not as detailed as book 1 with the omega/alpha references but the storyline and character development was great. Amara is working as an Omega spy in King Malloran’s castle to figure out where all the kidnapped children are going. In search of an omega for his personal use, King Malloran instead finds himself wanting more from Amara. As the book continues, we get to see more about Malloran’s past that made him who he is. When I first met his character, he didn’t seem like a very likeable guy. His upbringing definitely defined who he is now. I enjoy seeing Malloran and Amara learn to trust each other. It was exciting to read more about the Talent and how the trust theme weaved throughout the 3 books. As usual, there’s always plenty of twists in these books. Great ending and a good intro to book 7’s couple. I think I preferred the other couples’ stories, but this was also good.
Malloron discovers Amara’s true identity. They are drawn together, with their own hidden agendas. Their love is fierce. I enjoyed this book set.
I received a copy of the book set from the author via bookfunnel, and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
