Wow! What a finale! This was the most dysfunctional family reunion ever! Jerry Springer would have been beside himself if he could have televised this. Wow!

What an exciting, action filled ending to a roller coaster of a ride. I’ve enjoyed Ann and Ed’s journey. This series has characters that you love and those that you love to hate. Each book is filled with action packed excitement and good defeats evil outcomes. There’s battles and magic, witches, wyverns, shifters and a touch of romance what more could you ask for in a fantasy filled series. Absolutely nothing.
A fantastic read, that is fast paced and action packed this is an epic read that the scenes are written so well that you can picture them in your minds eye. There are twists and turns everywhere. This is a real page Turner. That I definitely recommend.

Tiffany Shand has provided a perfect ending to her fantastic Rogues of Magic series with Reign of Darkness (Book 7). Ann already had an uphill battle against powerful odds in her attempt to gain the Archdruidship, even with Ed, Ceara, Jax, and Marcus to help. Add in a plague (much worse than coronavirus, and much scarier that I’ve now a pandemic reference point) and powerful new and surprisingly returning enemies, a need for a jaunt to the Forest of Ghosts (not a fun place) and do much more. Powerful, exciting and totally fun. Readers of this series will rejoice with this great conclusion (even while being a bit bummed it ended). Newcomers, who probably had no idea what I was referring to above? You’re in for a treat, but really it’s best to start this one with book 2 and read forward.
Highly recommended.
The ending of a great series. Ann and her friends have taken a temporary refuge and they are helping anyone who is displaced. Then a plague spreads through the five lands. No one is exempt. It attacks everyone, human, fae, shifters, etc. Magic doesn’t work against it. As Ann, Ed, Ceara, Jax, and Marcus investigate they believe it is coming from the Forest of Ghosts. A dark, dismal place of death. And every time they explore there they come up against a presence. It seems to want Ed, but why? Will Ann’s mother Nyx ever help them? Whenever Ann asks she gets stonewalled. Nyx won’t reveal what happened in the past, or how to help Ann. And then they discover something ominous. Someone they thought dead is still alive and is enslaved to this powerful being who created the plague. Nyx says they can’t defeat it but Ann is determined. Will her bond to Ed save him or is the ancient being too powerful? I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review
