The best book av ever read.
Reign of Brayshaw by Meagan Brandy
If I could, I would’ve given this book all the stars in the universe.
And here I thought that Boys of Brayshaw High was the bomb. Nahhhh…..not even close.
This book right here is one of the most anticipated books of the year, but trust me, it will also be the most unexpected one.
I think I can resume my review one some little words. The whole book I was like this :
” Holy mother of Jesus Christ ”
” I am DEAD ”
” My brain just explode ”
” My heart is bleeding. My heart will explode just like my brain ”
” I’m floating ”
” This woman is crazy ”
” I am DEAD ”
This whole book was just mindfk and mindblowing. I finished the book days ago, and still, I can’t gather myself to find the right words, or at least just some words to describe this unique masterpiece.
I am sad that Snow White and Big Man story it’s over, but I am so happy for them because they finally got the HEA that they deserve.
I am also sure, because we are talking here about the master of mindfk and mindblowing Meagan Brandy, we all know what she put us through this series so far, and we will still see Raven and Maddoc in Captain and Royce books. There is no Brayshaw without them.
This book was the next motherfk-ing level. Raven, our Queen was the bomb. The boys were amazing. They evolved so much. They changed, they matured. Even their loyalty changed. Their loyalty is beyond everything and everyone. Yes, secrets are revealed, but new ones are coming on the surface because The Brayshaw world isn’t over yet. Captain and Royce are coming.
Reign of Brayshaw was more than perfect, with the perfect ending. You aren’t ready for this. Prepare to be blown away
This series is life! Everything about it, perfection! It tears you apart and rips you to shreds, but it’s a journey of a lifetime.
From the very start, bombshell after bombshell gets thrown in our faces. Problems and situations start escalating at every turn. Heartbreak and anger become the main emotion. And the organ in our chests becomes too much to bear. This was more than anyone could handle, but never underestimate the power of a queen! This story rocks your world, shatters all the foundations only to be built better and stronger!
Rae and the guys get so much more than they ever imagined. Everything and everyone threatened to tear them tear part. But in a world like theirs, loyalty will always be on top.
Everyone has a purpose, and although Raven and Maddoc’s story has reached the end, there are still key players that still need their story told!
This is an awesome series that should be read! Dreaded reaching the end, but looking forward to future Brayshaw–and hopefully Bishop–books!
Perfect series, perfect ending!
Wow, wow, wow. I’m speechless I need to sit and let it all sink in, what just happened. Whatever it was it was good, do I need more yes! I need more now, I need Captain’s story now!!! Omg all of it so good. Just wow!!! Must read!
I WASN’T READY!!! I laughed, I cried, I yelled at the book when people did stupid things and oh my god did I LOVE this book. I knew this series was going to be amazing from the first few chapters of BOBH and I didn’t think this series could get that much better than it already was but Meagan shocked the hell out of me! This book was utterly amazing and didn’t have a dull moment in it. The previous books left you with so many questions you were dying to have answered but she pulled everything together and I just can’t help but wonder how does her mind work this way?! How is she able to pull every little thing together? EVERYTHING has a purpose. But I know that there are probably little things that I have still missed so I will definitely be rereading this book over and over. Meagan Brandy is such a talented writer, the only one-click author I have. Congrats on an outstanding conclusion to this incredible series! I can’t wait for Cap and Royce’s books!
I can’t remember the last time I read a series that I’ve rated all books 5 stars. Seriously I find that most authors lose their touch on the second or even third book. But for me Meagan Brandy’s writing just keeps getting better and better.
We think she’s finished throwing all those twists and turns at us but then here we are with book 3 and sh*t is still making my head spin.
Reading the last 20% I could feel myself preparing, preparing for it to be over. The ache started because I didn’t want to leave these characters. I love them all and they have grown so much over 3 books.
There were so many emotional moments in the book, most of them had my eyes watering or I was crying.
My fingers were crossed the whole time because I didn’t know if this author was going to leave us with things working out or not.

4.5 BIG MAN STARS
Meagan Brandy better have Captain’s book done for us because I’m not even remotely ready to leave The Brayshaw gang behind.
Reign of Brayshaw had me in a constant state of shock. If you thought that book 1 and 2 had twist and turns, let me tell you, YOU HAVEN’T SEEN NOTHING YET. I was 4% into the book and already had WTF, OMG and NFW out of my mouth.
Raven Carver is a badass heroine. She is sassy, fierce and refuses to let anyone put her down. She is strong and caring. Will do anything for her boys. The family she gain and have fought tooth and nails to protect. Their bond is stronger than ever in book 3.
“She is Brayshaw by blood, at heart and will. She’ll do whatever it takes to save one.”
Maddoc Brayshaw never saw Raven coming but ones she was claimed, there’s no way he let anyone take her away from him. At one point I was scare thinking differently but Big Man made sure I took that thought out of my head asap.
“You’ve got it all wrong, baby. Loving you doesn’t make me weak. It makes me unstoppable.”
Maddoc, Captain and Royce are totally HOT. This three boys are born leaders and unstoppable. I’m a complete cougar when it comes to this guys. Their protectiveness and caring side is swoony. This book brought a whole LOT of drama to the Brayshaw world.
That incredible connection with each other and the way they each filled a very important role in each others lives made this series a win for me.
“Family are the ones we chose. Loyalty is given where gotten.”
The only thing that made me not give this a 5 star was that the end of Maddoc and Raven’s story felt rush to me. I just wanted more of them after all that happened.
I can’t wait to read Captain and Royce books. The little taste Brandy gave us at the end of RoB wasn’t enough to calm my desperate need for more.
I swear each book in this series just gets better and better!! I don’t understand how I waited this long to read it but I know I don’t think I could’ve waited until the next one was out ‘cuz it would’ve gutted me. Every turn you think you know what is going to happen, the author takes it one step further and leaves you blindsided once again. I can’t rave about this series enough as after you’ve read the first book, you just won’t be able to stop reading ‘cuz you want to know what happens next! It was a true rollercoaster ride! I’ve loved the boys but I gotta say I just loved Raven even more. Not only because of her no touch attitude but just the way she carried herself throughout this series. Definitely one of the strongest characters I’ve read and the most intriguing 🙂 I cannot wait to read the next one in this series ‘cuz I’m hoping every single one of the boys gets what they deserve!
After everything Raven and the boys have been through, nothing is the same anymore and a choice will rip them even more in two. When Raven’s past and her future collides, secrets will come out and she’ll find out things that will change everything in its course. Although things will head to a collision, there’s one thing that Raven wants more than anything and it’s one thing she can’t seem to have… or can she… With a new Reign in sight, everything comes with a price. Are they willing to pay it?… Will Raven finally see that she is the one that could bring everyone around her to their knees and rise like a Reign ?…
5 KEEP ME ON MY TOES STARS!! Wow….this book was on high speed and explosive all the way through. Get ready for the ride of your life. The feels were off the charts….my heart is still limping by after reading this book. Meagan Brandy is one of my absolute favorite authors….if you have not started this series….do it now.
Wow! This was an epic ride. The ups and downs and total mind beeps that this trilogy threw at me were awesome. I loved all the characters. Even the secondary ones that had a big part in this book. I want them allll to get their own books. Y’all will know who I mean when you read this book. I really don’t want give to much away so if you liked the other books in this series then get on this one! It was amazing. I do feel like I was left wondering somethings but I’m hoping they will be resolved in the next book. Bring on more Brayshaw boys; I am so ready. 4 stars #2OCCJD
WOW. Above my expectatipms and so pleased o have read this author ‘s books. Mote revoew see book 2. Agaim adrenaline driver. Emded with relief of writer’s skilll and a trust of writer to deliver a story that doese’ nt disappoint.
I can’t believe we are at the end of Raven and Maddox’s’ journey but…oh my goodness – what a journey it was!!!!!!!!!!
You almost gotta warn a girl that things are about to get rough!!
I am so pleased they found their HEA! And the angst!!!
Oh the angst was off the charts explosive!!!!
This story was full of so many awesome things that I know it will be one that sticks with me for a long time to come!
What an epic, epic tale!
I couldn’t recommend it more!
LOVED IT!!!!!!
Chaos and anxiety!! Those are the first thing that come to mind! Exciting conclusion to a fantastic series!! Secrets are revealed and all turns out well! Written with so much passion!! Incredible story!!
To say the conclusion of Raven and Maddoc’s story is stunning would be an understatement of epic proportions. I laughed, cried, wrinkled my forehead in confusion, almost threw my kindle in frustration and I’m sure a whole bunch of other things while reading this book. The way Meagan’s mind works and how she is able to include so many details that all have a purpose is totally beyond me. I have a friend that told me Meagan has ruined all other supposed “bada**” females for me because her’s are so strong, and I completely agree. Raven is the definition of strong, independent, and selfless while Maddoc is the definition of alpha and protective. This series is one of my all-time favorites and I am sure I will find more to love with each reread. Now if only I had the patience needed to wait for Captain and Royce’s stories because I am sure they will be just as crazy!
This book was definitely a whirl of emotions for me. I may be pregnant but I know I’m not the only one to feel all the emotions that were felt! The emotions range from sadness, to anger to happiness and all over the place. I absolutely loved this book! I literally started reading it and couldn’t set it down till I finished to know what exactly was going on and happen. I absolutely love the story of Maddoc, Raven and the Boys! I cannot wait for the next book in the series! You are literally left on the edge of your seat going, HOLY SH*T what is goin got happen next for all of them!! I highly recommend reading all 3 books in series so far!!
I am really conflicted with my thoughts and feelings with this book. I really enjoyed the first book. The second book left me feeling a little meh. I have so many different reactions to this book.
Overall, the conclusion to this story was how I thought it would end. Maybe not the details of the things that happened, but I saw the actual ending coming. It was really the only way this story could have ended.
The twists and turns in this story (from start to finish), while good ones, didn’t necessarily flow so well for me. They just kept coming left and right in no particular fashion. In this book, they came at the reader hard. If I’m being honest, they left a sour taste in my mouth. Once I connected the dots in this book, I wasn’t so on board with the outcome.
I have come to the conclusion that maybe this series just wasn’t for me. There were things I don’t look for in a book. I know there are many people who love those things, and those are going to be the ones who love this series.
What a great ending to the Brayshaw High series! I did not want it to end. All the twists and turns in this book had my heart in knots because I didn’t know what to expect. We saw the same tough, feisty heroine Raven, but she was more comfortable in her skin and it was great to see take charge.
We got to see a softer side to Maddoc as he comes to terms with his love for Raven. All in all this last book tied ends for Raven and Maddoc; but we still have questions about the other characters and their individual stories. I Loved this series because the author never lost sight of the sense of family that runs through the book if anything it brought the theme more to the forefront and the characters realized that they truly care and love one another and would do anything to make sure each is happy and have that sense of security we all strive for. Great job Meagan. Bring on the next book!!!
Just like in Raven and Maddoc’s previous two books, Reign of Brayshaw is a journey of highs and lows, of expected and unexpected situations, of revelations and concealments, and as everything plays out amidst the pages of book three, the tension is palpable, the pressure is overwhelming, and an ending where Raven and her Brayshaw boys remain intact and stronger than ever is not guaranteed, but they’ll sure as hell fight for it because the bond shared by these four characters is not something they’re willing to give up, regardless of what they must endure.
Raven is, without a doubt, one of the most transformative and multifaceted heroines I have read in quite some time, and the fact that she is only 18 years old and has lived most of her life on her own, coping with the ways life and those around her have let her down is a bit mind boggling. Raven’s growth doesn’t happen all at once; in fact, sometimes, it doesn’t even move in the right direction, but that makes sense given how independent and stubborn Raven is and remains, meaning that she’ll have to learn to trust in the three guys who refuse to let her go regardless of the shitstorm that seems to always surround them. The saying that explains ‘she may be little but she’s fierce’ aptly applies to this Bray Queen and being able to witness her growing pains but more importantly her victories is essential to truly understanding just how much she has changed from the beginning to the series to the end of book three.
Raven and Maddoc’s changing and growing relationship is the crux of their story; these two challenge each other, demand one another to be open and honest, fight to be respected, to be loved, to be number one in their hearts and their souls. And no matter how volatile, overwhelming, or demanding their connection is, it’s one that will transcend every single problem and/or obstacle because they’re more than just enemies turned lovers…they’re family…they’re soulmates and that idea was illustrated brilliantly from the start.
Expect the unexpected…I learned that early on in this series, and it holds true in Raven and Maddoc’s final book. And even when Reign of Brayshaw ends, there are still issues that need to be hashed out and resolved and what that means for this band of brothers and their queen is not as straightforward as some would think because the world in which they leave still has adversaries out to get them, but as long as they stand together, they can overcome and achieve anything.
Like Boys of Brayshaw and Trouble at Brayshaw High, Cap and Royce are secondary characters who are instrumental in ensuring that everyone knows where Raven belongs, even Raven herself. These two are absolutely heroes in their own right – ones who still have a lot to work through, and I can’t wait to read their stories!
4.5 Poison Apples
ℂ ’ ℝ:
I mean hasn’t EVERYONE heard of the Brayshaw Series?! If you haven’t and are apart of the book world then you must be living under a rock! Reign of Brayshaw along with the first two books of the series are MUST-READS! If you are an NA romance fan, this series is for you!!!
I mean this is Raven and Maddoc we are talking about! HEAT doesn’t even begin to describe it! SHEESH… let me put it like this, leave ya panties at the door while reading this one!
Raven and Maddoc FINALLY get their happily ever after… BUT we get just a teeny tiny taste of what’s to come next in Captain’s book and OMG… I for one can NOT wait! So I’m going to call this one an extended cliffhanger!
*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ***
A wolf may be stronger than a raven, but they need each other. The raven will call on the wolves. Where she flies, the wolves will follow. What she can’t touch, the wolves can. Where she’s to weak, the wolves are strong.
Reign Of Brayshaw, the long-awaited conclusion of Raven and Maddoc’s story from the Brayshaw High Series by Meagan Brandy is HERE! This review will contain spoilers from the prior books so if you have not started the series yet (WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!) then you may not want to read this review. Obviously, this is a series and all books must be read in order.
Brandy has done a fabulous job on this series so far but I was really worried about this one. With it being the conclusion of Raven and Maddoc’s story, I had high expectations and let me tell you, she surpassed them! I read through this book in a day, I straight up just did not stop! I yelled at whoever tried speaking to me AND I kicked my husband out of bed when he complained about the light from my Kindle at 3 A.M!
…with life comes loss. With love, comes sacrifice.
After the way Trouble at Brayshaw High ended, I knew we were in store for a heck of a ride with Reign of Brayshaw. Secrets are revealed, questions we have been asking ourselves FINALLY have answers… well most of them anyway.
A crooked crown is still a crown, right?
I have adored this series and these characters, Raven, Maddoc, Royce, and my Captain. Watching all of them grow has been amazing to watch, but especially my girl Raven!
Kings have been named, kingdoms set. But it all comes down to the power of the queen, doesn’t it?
I have loved Raven from the very beginning. I think we have seen the most character growth from her. She’s still that strong, fearless, independent, bad ***** we all first met and loved, but now she’s learned to depend on her guys and lean on them for support when she needs them. The girl has endured so, so much in her life and she’s come out the other side of it all stronger than ever. She takes no crap and will go to war against ANYONE if it means protecting herself or her guys, especially her guys. Raven has grown in spades and it has been an amazing ride watching her grow up and evolve from this bad ***** to this bad-*** QUEEN!
I don’t want him tame. I like him wild. I need him defiant. I love him limitless.
Maddoc, A.K.A Big Man *SWOON* one of my favorite things about Reign Of Brayshaw is that we see a totally different side of Maddoc. I really don’t want to give away anything so I’ll just say this, we see a much more vulnerable side of Maddoc. We see how his life would be if he ever lost Raven… We see Maddoc break. And when I say break… I mean completely shatter. *SIGH*
You’ve got it all wrong, baby. Loving you doesn’t make me weak. It makes me unstoppable.
This journey we’ve all been on with Big Man and Snow’s relationship has been a whirlwind. They’ve had ups, and they’ve had a whole lot of downs. It was like the universe was TRYING to tear these two apart. They’ve had nothing but obstacles thrown at them from every angle but they have always managed to make it to the other side, together. Their love is intense, passionate, and downright possessive from both sides but it’s theirs! Raven and Maddoc are a force to be reckoned with. Separately they are good… but together, they are absolutely unstoppable.
Love me, baby, and we’ll be unstoppable together.
Captain, GAHHH! I fell even more in love with Captain this time around. I adore him and his precious Zoey and I so, so, soo can not wait to see how his story plays out. Seeing these big bad guys with little Zoey… SSSWWWOOONNN! My ovaries were working OVERTIME girl! SHEESH!
Royce, everyone’s favorite is usually always Maddoc or Captain, but not me. Now don’t get me wrong, I love both of those guys too but Royce is I love how he feels so much more than the other guys. He needs attention and I have TONS of it for him! Lol, no but seriously that epilogue made me really curious about who may have hurt Royce… IDK you’ll see but yea I can’t wait for Royce’s book too, I’m more than ready to see Captain and Royce BOTH get their HEA’s too.
Nobody could predict or prepare for the strength behind four fused souls.
The bond that these guys share together, and that they each share with Raven… there are no words, it’s unlike anything you can imagine. There is literally no describing it, not accurately anyway. It’s something you HAVE to experience on your own. They have become more than friends, they are family and you better believe that these knights WILL protect their Queen. No matter the stakes.
She wants to push. We’ll be the driving force behind her. She wants to lead. Where she goes, we’ll follow. She wants her reign. We’ll make sure she gets it. Always.
I can’t NOT mention Victoria! I wasn’t gonna… lol but she has really proved herself this time around. She hasn’t always done the right thing, and hold on to your seats because there is a whole lot about little miss Victoria that you are about to find out, BUT the friendship between her and Raven has evolved over time, and Raven trusts her. If that doesn’t say it all then I don’t know what will.
My baby.” His eyes close. “She doesn’t bare her teeth in vain,” he whispers, running his tongue along the wound. “She bites.
Although I am so happy that Raven and Maddoc FINALLY have their HEA… it’s bittersweet. I hate to see this crew go. I really do. BUT it sounds like Captain’s story is up next and I have a feeling we will be seeing much more from Raven and Maddoc.
All I can say is expect the unexpected with this one you guys! There is a whole lot coming your way that you will NEVER see coming! Betrayals, sacrifices, danger, angst, and ohhh so many twists, get ready for Reign of Brayshaw!
I highly recommend checking out this series! MUST-READ!
And so, the Raven led her wolves…” His smile is slow. “It all makes sense now. There was no other ending after the way it started.
#BRAYGIRL4LIFE #BRAYGIRL #CAPTAINISMINE #SOISROYCE #SORRYNOTSORRY
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Okay so I feel like this book was even crazier than the first two. Lots of angst and upset fill the pages and there’s so much goin on, never a dull moment. Raven and her boys are torn apart and backed into a corner, and they have to fight to get back to the connection and strength that was built before all this.
I’m all for a good new adult situation, and taking liberties when it comes to things like school, or their age, or how others react to them. But this book tested that limit more than usual. Still, it was entertaining, unexpected, and enjoyable. With a happy ever after for one of the Brayshaw boys.
