Reign of Brayshaw is the highly anticipated conclusion to Maddoc and Raven’s story, and the third in the Brayshaw series. This book must be read after both book one and two.

“They want an obedient wife. They’re getting a defiant queen.”-
Raven is who I want to be when I grow up.
I have to say as little as possible, because breathing in the general direction of this book could be a spoiler.
I’m conflicted in so many ways over this book. I’m so sad to see the end of Raven’s story, while I’m pleased with the way a LOT of things turned out. Hearts were broken, lies were told, duties were fulfilled, truths were spilled, and I sat back with a confused expression on my face for easily 2/3 of this masterpiece.
Brandy kept me on my toes from the first page to the last, and then I just wanted to continue flipping pages, hoping for more.
This is perfection. I’m not a crier, and I did. But I smiled, and raged, and loved, and broke and got put back together within these covers.
Like I said, I’m sad to see the end of this, but I’m preparing myself for the boys of Brayshaw to return.
This book gutted me in the greatest way. Raven what a powerhouse! Shoot this girl has been through too much. This girl deserves a freaking happy ending!!!
Read this series, you will not be sorry. These 3 books sat on my kindle and I regret it. Between all 3 books I shed more tears then I expected!!!
I wish I had three amazing guys like Maddox, Captain and Royce in my life! Three Kings looking for the queen they never knew they needed!
This is a review on the trilogy,
Holly molly, what a ride, the twist, and the turns, I even did a little upside-down moment in the second book (almost broke my kindle); I’ve truly never wanted two people to together as much as Raven and Maddoc, the minute they had each other or saw the truth, they were ripped apart, but the real masterpiece was up until the very end you didn’t see the next twist coming and it made the book beyond enjoyable – I’m really looking forward to Captain and Royce stories, and hope they have the same deserved ending…
Um, WOW. Words are hard!!! When I finished this book my first thought was: how did she keep track of all these twists and turns and plots and all the things?! Meagan Brandy absolutely blew me away with this series… Holy cow. I was on the edge of my seat turning page after page (or tapping page after page because ebook). I think I stayed up until 2:30am to finish this. Could not put it down! Absolutely amazing! Massive, massive book series hangover…
This is the third book in the series and the conclusion to Maddoc and Raven’s story, and I am SO sad to see them go, but what an amazing wild, intense, and angsty ride it was!!! This was such a unique world to read into and it was definitely one I won’t forget.
I definitely felt every emotion that was brought up in this book and my heart broke for Maddoc and Raven with all the twists and turns and hurdles they had to jump over and difficult decisions they had to make. But their romance was everything I hoped it would be. From the push and pull, to the fierce and passionate love and sacrifices they had to make. Their love is so strong.
Everything about Raven and her boys is something you’d wish for in a female/male friendship. She has this connection with each of them that has them opening up to her more than they normally would. They’ve all grown so much since she became part of their lives and they all truly care about and love each other.
You see a lot more of Captain in this book and he. Stole. My. Heart. So happy that Captain’s book is next (June 3rd) and that we will get a Royce book as well <3
If you haven’t read this book yet, or this series, go read it now!!!
This book reigned supreme! 5 stars
This epic conclusion to Maddoc and Raven’s story reigned supreme! This book wrecked me in the best way – emotionally and with all the twists and turns! This may be the short review, because everything is a potential spoiler! Maddoc disappointed me for a bit, but it was understandable. By the end, he earned my respect and love again. Raven may have faltered for bit as well, but she rose up like the “brave, bold, beautiful, fearless, capable” queen she was! By the end, I finally had a smile on my face and tears of happiness instead of heartbreak and sadness. This was my first time reading this author, but it will not be my last as I look forward to reading Captain’s and Royce’s stories! (Captain’s is available, and Royce’s is coming!) I read the sample a while ago of the first book (Boys of Brayshaw), and I wasn’t sure at first if I wanted to read the whole book. I didn’t read it, but with the announcement that this Brayshaw world and Mary C Gebhard’s Crowne Point world would collide I knew I wanted to read this series. I am elated that I did, because I found a story, world and characters that I love and cherish. Give this world and author a chance, because I highly recommend it!
The finale of Raven and Maddoc’s story is quite the doozy. Raven has her hands full, and in the end, she must do what needs to be done in order for her world to be put right on it’s axis. There will be pain, there will be sorrow but if anyone has the strength to do it, it is the Queen of Brayshaw. I found this to be a satisfying end to their story and not without it’s own special chaos.
Bravo Meagan, Bravo!
My emotions have been all over the place and I was literally sat with my kindle on my lap wondering ‘what do I do now?’.
I am truly going miss following Raven and Maddoc’s story but really look forward to reading Cap and Royce’s! Guess I will just have to read them again
Excellant ending of this Trilogy! I loved the Brayshaw boys / world. I normally don’t like trilogy but oh damn! You wont be disappointed of Maddoc and Raven, Captain and Royce.
Series Review!!!
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! A truly wonderful book series. I love Maddoc and Ravens story from beginning to the end! I want more! I know there will be spin offs I just hope they come out soon! I was feeling the emotions with the characters and holding my breath more then once throughout the trilogy. You will laugh, cry, smile and want to smack a few people but it is all worth it!!
There are twists you will not see coming and growth in the characters that will just astound you. Plan accordingly to have enough time to read these all at once! So amazing!
THIS BOOK! what a fantastic conclusion to Raven and Maddoc’s story WOW! This book just did not stop from start to finish, it was a tumultuous journey bringing all the angsty heartbreak, plot twists and fierceness.
Reign of Brayshaw carries on after that cliffhanger ending of The Trouble at Brayshaw. Throwing you right in the centre of the blow back from the choices Cap & Raven made and oh how my heart hurt for them and Maddoc gah! The story played out with so many plot twists I think I went through every experience under the sun reading this novel. Alongside the story we got to know two side characters much better in Victoria and Bass and I adore them, they stand by Raven’s side no matter what and fit perfectly into the Braysahw clan. I saw more of Cap’s stocism, his valour and how much of a wonderful role model he is going to be for his daughter, the way he melts for her made me swoon so hard. Royce, oh Royce, this novel highlighted what a complex character he really is. Meagan really explored the vulnerable side that only Raven has managed to bring out in him, how in reality he feels like he isn’t worthy of love; but at the same time how capable he is of loving someone until his last breath, I adore him!
Reign of Brayshaw was full of secrets and their reveals galore and my jaw hit the floor so many times! Then of course we get more of Maddoc and Raven and a throwback to their angsty enemies to lovers vibes from Book 1 are back in full force. Maddoc finally comes to his senses and is ready to truly fight for his girl no matter the consequences, his possessiveness is delicious to read.
I am absolutely a huge fan of this series and sad that I devoured them so quickly, I need more of this world for sure. I am looking forward to Captain’s book later this year and Royce’s when his time comes. Meagan has a new fan in me and I want to explore her back catalogue while I wait for more Braysahw.
EEP!!! Ok, so I’m devouring these books! I get so wrapped up in them. Love the writing style that just drops you into the story. Then your stomach growls because you haven’t moved/ate for HOURS because you’ve been reading wanting to know what is going to happen next!!
I’ve read so many series that I’ve loved and enjoyed. But I have to say that this series is by far my favorite of all time. When you cant choose who you love more between the boys, I just love them all. Obviously Maddoc and Raven were my favorite because who doesn’t want a love like theirs. But Captain and Royce are just as perfect. It’s true that, Family is more than just blood, and these Brayshaws are proof of that. I’m sad to see Maddoc and Ravens story end because it was one heck of a rollercoaster. I cried, laughed, wanted to throw something but in the end, it was totally worth it. I will forever be a #BrayGirl and that is something Meagan should be proud of.
Crikey. I spent all this book wondering how the heck they were going to get out of the meas they ended up in at the end of the last book. I knew how I wanted it to go but I couldn’t really see how they were going to get there. A really fitting last book of Maddoc and Raven’s story. I really enjoyed it, it sucked me in so hard and kept me there the whole time.
3-3.5 stars
I was surprisingly underwhelmed by the conclusion to this trilogy. While there’s still plenty of drama to keep you entertained and intrigued, a major character is absent quite a bit and I think it really took a toll on the book as a whole. It also kind of jumped the shark a little toward the end becoming super OTT with the conclusion that was irritatingly convenient yet really farfetched at the same time. I spent a good chunk of the book confused, trying to puzzle all these loose ends out. I like when the author indicates that there is a secret but find it really frustrating when the reader isn’t given enough to even make a guess at what the author is implying. I don’t need it spelled out for me, but at least throw me enough to take a gander at what’s going on. I ended up having several questions that I expected to get answers to but did not which was disappointing.
Did I like the series overall? Yes, it was really entertaining and I will definitely read more by this author. I just expected this to end with a bang and it didn’t for me.
I’ll always love this book and continue to read it over and over and over again.
I can’t even think of words to describe how I feel about this book. It was everything I wanted, more then what I thought I needed.the twists and turns, the heartbreak and heartache on so many occasions. The surprises that made me squeal in excitement. The ones that made me cry out in fear or pain. I felt every single emotion while listening to this. I thought I needed a day to work out all that had happened, only in reality I needed a day to let the shock wear off before I could process anything. Now, my chest has started to ache again, my mind not letting the scenes I read fade away. I’m sad Maddoc’s and Ravens story is over. But extremely happy that I can continue to read it over and over whenever I want.
Thank you, Meagan for writing such an incredible series!
This series is so amazing I wish there was more books to it. Love, love, love, love this series!! I fell in love with every single character in this book especially Raven. If you have not started the series I highly recommend it so well written and will keep your attention the entire time. Once again Jillian & Stephen did an outstanding job narrating.
Can I give this book more than 5 stars? Because I need to give this book 5 million stars. Omg. Thus was the perfect ending to Maddoc and Ravens story. The plot was so thick with twists and turns and secrets and every time a new one was revealed I was dying! The characters in this series have stolen my heart. I can not wait for Captain and Royce’s books. I need more Brayshaw!
***5 “No sacrifice too big!!!” stars***
“With life comes loss. With love, comes sacrifice.”
“There’s always a sacrifice to be made.”
Wow! Just… Wow!!! This book literally wrecked me!!! This book broke my heart in thousands tiny pieces and i was suffocating from the desperation that i was feeling!!!
Hopeless!!!
I was feeling lost and hopeless, as they were feeling too!!!!
Phew!!! Maddoc and Raven’s story came to an end, but nothing is over yet!!!
But let’s take things from the beginning!!!
Brayshaw crew’s troubles are never ending, especially when there are so many things at stake!!!
In the beginning, they were three and then came Raven and they became four… A united team… A family… Cause family runs deeper than blood!!!
And now, they are breathing and living for each other, but unfortunately, they are not alone in the world and the rest of the world is against them!!!
In this book, they have to decide who is worthying more…
They will have to make difficult choices, to make sacrifices!!!! They will have to give up their own soul to save their future!!!
“Family are the ones we chose.
Loyalty is given where gotten.
Trust only those who earn it.”
“We were born for Brayshaw, but you are Brayshaw. Use that power if you have to, even if in the end, it’s against us.”
Phew!!! Honestly, i don’t know what more to say than that everyone in here had to sacrifice something for the other!!!
My heart was breaking over and over again for everyone, but honestly, i couldn’t handle Maddoc’s hopelessness!!! I couldn’t deal with his breaking heart!!! It was too much!!! And i love this guy very much!!!
“I told you… I warned you. Love? It makes you weak.”
“You’ve got it all wrong, baby. Loving you doesn’t make me weak. It makes me unstoppable… Nothing and noone will ever have the power or strength to step between me and you. No one.”
“You can’t be anyone else’s when you’re already mine, Raven. And you are. Mine.”
Raven, in here,’ve been proved the queen that she was meant to be!!! The Queen of Brayshaw!!!
But who would be her prince by her side??? The one that her heart desires or someone else who has been forced upon her???
Will Maddoc and Raven’s love win at the end???
“He promised no one could take me from him, that it was me and him, no matter what.
You lied, Big Man.”
“I could never love you more than him… And I’ll never stop wanting him.”
“Sweet Brayshaw princess… You have a weakness. They are your weakness.”
“They don’t make me weak, Graven. They make me unstoppable…
And I’m no princess. I’m a fucking queen of your own making, this is my kingdom and you have no place in it. You wanna play medieval times, old man? I’m game.”
And what about Royce and Captain???
Oh, my sweet Captain!!! You scared me for a while, but I’m ashamed of myself for not believing in you!!!! And honestly, i can’t wait to see how he will be at his book!!! Of course, I’m longing for more of Victoria!!!!
“Welcome home, beauty… Might wanna sleep with one eye open.” {Captain to Victoria}
The mess that had been in here, in a way got clean, but there are still more to go inside this world with this crew and i can not wait for more… And more and more….
Royce, i’m anticipating your story too!!! I haven’t forget you, man!!!! I’m just waiting while you’re binding your time for the grand finale!!!!
“She wants to push. We’ll be the driving force behind her.
She wants to lead. Where she goes, we’ll follow.
She wants her reign. We’ll make sure she gets it.
Always.”
**********************************
“This is my key to this world, to you, to our future…
Never again will a door stand in my way when you’re on the other side of it.”
“The key to the kingdom,” I whisper.
“To our kingdom.”

Wow! I’m not even sure I’m in the right head space to write this review right now but I’ll give it a go! WTF! What a freaking rollercoaster this book was! So many twists and turns and all around craziness! I wasn’t expecting even half of what I read! Meagan Brandy turned me into a hot mess and I’m not even mad about it. So glad for Maddoc and Raven’s HEA. So much of this book had me freaking out that there wasn’t going to be. Phew! It was a close one! I’m so ready for Captain and Royce’s books!!!
Just recently was able to finish this due to crazy life stuff. Let me tell you, this series was the best way to get me out of real life! I was totally sucked in and hated to pull myself away to adult lol I highly recommend this if you want “throw your Kindle” and roller coaster emotions! Meagan’s writing is seriously top notch and I can’t wait to see what she has for us next!
