5 All Shook Up Stars
Reforming Kent is the final book in the Kennedy Brothers series by best selling author Siobhan Davis and I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to this series. Kent’s story took me on an emotional rollercoaster of highs and lows that I wont forget.
I’ll be honest and say that by the end of Adoring Keaton, I wasn’t particularly fond of Kent. In this book, he went from from being disliked to being my favorite Kennedy brother. We know from previous books in the series that Kent is a bad boy, the black sheep of the family. I’m sure we all had theories, but nothing prepared me for the plot twists and revelations Ms Davis delivered in this book. Suffering alone, Kent lived in a world of pain and rage that no one could see. And he wanted it that way…until Presley came along and made him want more.
Presley is an amazing female lead and the perfect counterpart to Kent. She has been handed a tough deck but always strives to come out on top and see the good in people. I loved that she fully supported Kent, not knowing his secrets, and knew when to push and when to back off. She is so caring, understanding and supportive. Her goodness radiates off her in waves.
Reforming Kent put me through and emotional ringer. My heart cracked open and bled for these characters as if they were real people. They were both put through so much and were let down by people they loved. Their journey to overcome the obstacles of their past is heartbreaking. Davis tackled some sensitive topics with dignity and class. This book reinforces the importance of family and shows there can be light in darkness. This book definitely contains triggers so be prepared, but I also highly recommend it.
Kent and Presley have stolen the favorite couple spot. They come together in the beginning as two broken people and end the book as two whole people who are even stronger together. This whole thing had me in tears and it BROKE. MY. HEART! I just sat there crying for these two throughout the book. Siobhan writes such real, interesting, heartbreaking, inspiring books and this one is one of the best I’ve ever read. This whole series has been an incredible experience and I’m sure she has changed me with her words. Thank you Siobhan, for writing these characters and this family.
WOW. This book was so much more emotional than I anticipated. I am truly at a loss for words on this one. I am going to have a book hangover after this.
Reforming Kent is the tenth and finally book in the Kennedy Boys series. It may be a standalone, but I HIGHLY, HIGHLY urge readers to read these books in order.
I honestly have no idea what to say. Siobhan ripped me open with Kent’s story and my heart is flayed. The emotions she rocked me with are powerful and have left me breathless. To say I am emotionally wrecked is an understatement, but it’s a good thing.
Reforming Kent is a story of first loves and reveling in those feelings. It’s also confronting pain, hurt and anger from a past that was buried so deep that any attempt to move past it, brings those demons alive making the past become the present.
“Never forget that no one can save you if you don’t save yourself first.”
One thing I have loved and will always love is Siobhan’s ability to never sugarcoat or hold back on anything in her stories. What her characters endure are unfortunate realties and it makes these stories all that more raw and deep. I will say this – if you have a hard time dealing with abuse and rape, read this book with extreme caution. It will bring those horrors to life – trust me on this. But I will never fault Siobhan for making me feel so much; for many of us it is sometimes cathartic when we empathize with these characters.
I loved seeing Kent grow in so many ways in this book. He kept himself closed off to everyone and lost himself in booze, sex and drugs. Presley was a light he never expected and her aloofness and strength challenged him. Presley wasn’t about to be another notch on his bed post and Kent never gives up when he wants something. As these two move along in their friendship/relationship, they learn more about each other and it’s this connection that makes them inseparable. Presley is the perfect woman for Kent – she handles and understands him in ways even his family doesn’t. But their journey is not an easy one – it’s not one for the faint of hearts either.
Siobhan’s writing is flawless. She knows how to grip her readers at the right moment and keeps you engaged in the story the entire time. Her characters are authentic, real and unforgettable. This book, this whole series, is one I will never foret.
Siobhan – you won me over with your first book about Kyler and made me an insta-fan. With Kent, you’ve only strengthened my love for your writing, your characters and their stories. I am sad this series has to come and end, but I am forever grateful that you gave us the Kennedy Brothers. They are forever etched in my soul and this series will always be in my favorites.
Once again, Siobhan Davis manages to completely capture my heart and attention with her characters, story and world building.
This story definitely has some darker themes and scenarios, so if you have any triggers or worries then reach out to Siobhan, as at the beginning of the book she states to email her.
They are all handled so well, and I really felt every emotion, which is such a skill for a writer to have. Siobhan’s writing just improves every time, and I can’t fault her for it.
Presley and Kent have chemistry from the start, but certain events definitely threaten to ruin their happiness. I loved them as a couple and the way they work through their pasts is commendable and I just really connected with them throughout. Everybody has things they need to work through, and having somebody to work through them with can make a world of difference.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I have so many emotions running through me right now. Reforming Kent is a truly gut wrenching, soul searching story. The pain and anguish Kent went though was just devastating. Presley too for that matter. I loved this story to my core, it has so much depth. If you don’t shed a few tears while reading this then you’d be the odd one out.
Reforming Kent is the final book in the Kennedy Boys series, and it was exactly what I needed this conclusion to be. Siobhan really pulls on the heartstrings in this one-weaving a tale of love, friendship, and family with so much finesse and aplomb. This book was always going to be a difficult read. Kent has been a difficult character for this series; he’s been acting out and crying for help for so long.
Presley is fantastic. She’s strong and capable, but tender and caring. Just what Kent needs to help him heal, and he provides that security for her as well. They save each other in a sense, but it’s by giving that support and encouragement to save themselves. Their chemistry is insanely perfect.
This book left me in a puddle of tears(have a fresh box of tissues ready) and a bit of an emotional mess. It’s angsty and full of drama, a story of destruction and redemption. Proof even the most “perfect” of families aren’t infallible, but are capable of growth and change. Siobhan, you’ve done it again. Perfection.
Wow, just wow. I really don’t have the words to describe how amazing and heartbreaking this book was. I knew Siobhan Davis was going to end this series with a bang and she really did.
I have to say throughout this whole series I was pissed at Kent. I knew there was something big going on with him but he still continued to make me angry. But this book has changed my mind about him entirely. The struggles that Kent goes through are insane, he has been through so much. But the growth that we see is equally amazing. You really get to understand that he is human. What a beautiful way to end this series, Siobhan really saved the best for last.
I have always loved that way that Siobhan Davis is not afraid to tackle tough issues in such an amazing way. This series is a must-read for everyone, each book tackles a new issue and shows more strength in this family. The way they support one another and want the best for each other is amazing and heartwarming. As a whole, that entire family has been through so much but they continue to get stronger. This was a beautiful ending to this series.

Final Score – 5 Stars!
Oh my sweet boy Kent! My heart was shattered and glued back together reading this last installment of the Kennedy Books series.
Kent & Presley were two broken souls who found happiness and strength in one another and it was a beautiful thing to witness. We all know how unpredictable Kent could be from the previous books and he was always the one who just had hidden layers buried underneath that tough, obnoxious and hardcore exterior. It was wonderful him find happiness and finally fall in love.
This book did not disappoint – the romance, the family moments, that shocking truth reveal – it got me so emotional, I was weeping for hours. I’m truly going to miss this crazy family – I’ve read the ENTIRE series and hard to say good-bye to them all. I hope we at least get a novella to check in with them to see how they are doing a few years down the line after the events at the end of the book.
4.5-4.75 STARS
Leaving the most perplexing and infuriating Kennedy boy for last, Siobhan Davis serves up yet another emotionally charged story in this final installment to her Kennedy Boys series, “Reforming Kent.” As I dove between the pages of Kent and Presley’s story, I did so with a bittersweet heart, knowing that with each page read, I was ultimately being steered closer to the conclusion of one of my all-time favorite series.
Though I had my suspicions as to the driving force behind Kent’s abhorrent, bad boy behavior, Siobhan Davis still managed to surprise me several times throughout this couple’s story. With a reputation for tackling difficult, taboo subject matters, this author doesn’t shy away from the demanding challenge, but meets it head on in a very compassionate way. And “Reforming Kent” is no exception.
Over the years, I have fallen in love with every one of the Kennedy Boys, and it is difficult to bid them all farewell. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end. Lucky for us, this is one HEA ending that is long overdue but well worth the wait!!
What a way to end a series, this was probably my absolute favorite of all the Kennedy brothers books. It is crazy how much Kent went through and no one even noticed or saw any signs. My heart bled for his story. The way it came together in the end I would never have anticipated, I had a few guesses but I did not see that coming. This book has heartbreak, love, forgiveness and it’s real. It makes me want to do more in my community for kids like Kent. Great Book.

Just wow – Siobhan always blows my mind!!!
Oh my heart. I’ve cried tears of joy, sorrow and hate in this story. My emotions are all over the place. When they say leave the best until last Siobhan has definitely delivered. I knew Kent’s story would be special but far out it was phenomenal. This book gutted me. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. : I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Just a little heads up. There are some things in Reforming Kent that may be confronting for some people.
I knew that Reforming Kent was going to be one hell of an emotional roller coaster. Finally getting to the bottom of Kent’s destructive behaviour and the reason that he has essentially cast himself as the black sheep of the family and of course this being the last book in The Kennedy Boys series.
Now normally when I read, if I am emotionally invested, at most, a tear or 2. Alright maybe 3 or 4. But Reforming Kent had me reaching for the tissues. I’m talking streams of tears. A sobbing, blubbering mess. It was not pretty.
Siobhan Davis has written this absolutely amazing book that had me feeling all the feels. All the heart shattering angst. Emotions were riding real high with this one. She really is a phenomenal writer. One of my 1-click authors.
I’m really not ready for The Kennedy Boys to be over. But I am looking forward to seeing what Siobhan has up her sleeve next.
I am voluntarily reviewing a complimentary advanced copy of this book and all opinions are my own.
If I could give this book ten gold stars I would! I have been a fan of the Kennedy’s since the first book and who knew just how beloved the family would be. Kent had a reoccurring role in all of the books but he was always in the background causing trouble but little did we all know how much pain and sorrow he was going through all of these years. When Kent meets Presley at a bar where he goes to forget his past, Presley isn’t impressed and turns him down when he attempts to ask her out or for a hookup. Presley has a lot going on in her life too with an ex boyfriend who she worries about constantly and her foster brother that she knows is involved in dangerous things. I believe Presley and Kent’s fate is about to collide and it will be life changing for them both! Kent and the way he acts is not always a like able person especially the way he is with his triplet brother Keaton. It broke my heart to see a family so close be torn apart by prejudice. I knew the author had her reasons for setting up the story this way but I never imagined what was coming next. This is the best Kennedy book the Siobhan Davis has written. I admit Loving Calvin was my favorite until now. She has reformed even this reader that Kent is worth everything!! This emotional roller coaster of a ride through Kent’s story is worth every single minute you spend reading it. I don’t want to give anything else away to avoid spoilers. I just say. YOU HAVE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK!!! Wonderfully written you better have a couple tissues on hand, you may need them. I received a complimentary copy of this book.
Wow, talk about leaving the best til last. Who knew this angry and sexy man could turn into a big teddy bear with a big heart and such a soft romantic side. *Sigh* I love Kent Kennedy. Oh and I‘m also in love with Presley. Both were amazing characters.
In true Kennedy Boys form, I was enthralled from beginning to end. So I made sure I had nothing to do but indulge in the last and final Kennedy Boys story with no interruptions. So many familiar faces and life progression, it was beautiful. Kent’s story was heartbreaking and tragic and I never saw it coming. A story of a broken boy tuned broken man with a soul destroying past that breaks your heart. Presley is the amazing and strong woman who is capable of handling this lost man and helping him to mend his broken parts.
Reforming Kent is a standalone must read but to get the full picture, invest some time and start from the beginning, you won’t be disappointed stepping into the Kennedy Boys world, if anything, you will be screaming for more. Siobhan does a wonderful job of handling the tough themes in this story. An amazing book to finish off this series.

I actually don’t know where to start with this review!
I have fallen in love with ever Kennedy brothers and their partners one by one after reading their stories and it has always left an imprint on my heart. The pain and love that comes through in the series has me overflowing with emotion.
I eagerly awaited Kent’s book after the small glimpses that I had of him throughout the book and WOW it did not disappointed.
The characters as always are amazing in this book and Kent and Presley broke my heart and then fixed it again before rinsing and repeating.
I love how Siobhan always brings to light real world issues into her storylines especially the ones people don’t talk about as openly as they should!
I highly recommend Kent’s story, if you take the time you will not be disappointed, it was worth the wait.

Kent Kennedy has been the Kennedy brother that has had my heart from the start. I have loved them all as each of their stories were told, but I always came back to Kent. I have been like a broken record about how much I love him and how much I needed his story. I can truly say his story was beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Kent blew me away. I was not prepared for the story I just finished but you are never truly prepared for the best stories. Thank you Siobhan Davis for writing such an incredible book to share Kent’s story and giving us the Kennedy Family!

Wow… Just wow… This book… It is the last one of the Kennedy boys series and might I say Siobhan saved the best for last?
This book takes you on a journey trough some tough and real emotions. I felt blessed being part of it.
The story keeps you on your toes, puts your stomach in a twist and makes you question things. It’s a rollercoaster and I loved every minute of the ride!
What an amazing end to one of the best series I have ever read…
I’ve been waiting patiently for Kent because I just knew this would be the one that would put this in my top 10 of *must read series* but guys I think siobhan may have stolen the top spot …
I literally awoke to an iPad meeting my nose, and it hurt …. but I just could not stop reading it .
Surviving the next day on 2 hrs sleep and in the biggest book funk ever , but it was worth it …
and I’d do it again to read it for the first time again …
ALL.THE.FEELS
Kent is officially my favourite Kennedy…
I’m gonna miss this family ..
So I think I may have to revisit them again from the very start
Amazing as always
Reforming Kent. What can i say about Kent’s book, sadly the last one the Kennedy boys series.
Kent was always the character you loved to hate. But when he came on the scene in his own book things changed, dramatically.
His story was a whirlwind of emotions from love, to heartbreak to wanting to reach in to the book and just hug these characters and tell them it will be ok.
For Kent to be able to move forward with his life, his past had to be spoken, but with the pain being to close to the surface he had no idea how to over come this.
Enter Presley, she was able to show Kent that not only that she could see him (after being the black sheep of the family) but she will be by his side no matter what.
2 broken souls found each other to put together a full heart.
The Kennedy’s have taken us on a ride since we were first introduced to them with Finding Kyler, and this book was no exception. Siobhan really did save the best for last.
Siobhan, I knew this series was going to end but no matter what I was not ready for it. Thank you for taking us on this roller coaster of emotions.
