Presley
Since I aged out of the foster system, I’ve worked hard for my dream future, and it’s so close. Too close to let some arrogant rich playboy distract me.
I’ve heard all about Kent Kennedy, and with my history of troubled bad boys, I need his attention like a hole in the head. Except he’s nothing I expected and everything I never dared to dream of. As I slowly uncover the truth, I discover a broken man with a big heart who desperately needs someone to see him.
I want to be that person, but his demons loom large, and I don’t know if I’m strong enough to do this again.
When the past rears its ugly head, shattering everything, will there be anything left of my heart to protect?

This book has been so hard for me to read, it took me a full day to get past the first page as I knew once I started reading I wouldn’t put it down until it was finished and I just didn’t want to know that this series is over. Don’t get me wrong this book was absolutely everything but this series has a special place in my heart and I don’t ever want it to end. And I’m going to do something that I always refuse to do and say this is my favourite series ever.
So Kent has always been a mystery to me and a complete and utter ass but how Siobhan Davis has written his story was just perfect and absolutely heartbreaking. It has made me laugh and cry so hard throughout. Presley was the perfect partner for Kent. However much I didn’t want it to end it’s been wrapped up brilliantly and I haven’t been left with any unanswered questions.
Highly highly recommend!
Wow, certainly worth waiting for. Kent has been a pain the backside all through the series but we always knew there was a reason. Siobhan didn’t hold back. If you aren’t a Kent fan already you will be after his story. Thank you Siobhan for an amazing series, sad it’s over but what a ride!
I fell hard for a Kent in this one!!! It was such a fantastic way to end the wonderful Kennedy Boys saga. After Adoring Keaton, I was BEYOND livid either with Kent……. I didn’t think I would like him well enter Siobhan’s beautiful character and story building and I am IN LOVE with him. Oh and Presley is amazing – they are a perfect combination! I could gush over this book all day long! It’s a must read.
Soul-wrecking perfection
Reforming Kent is the last (standalone) book in Siobhan Davis’ Kennedy Boys series. For me it was the most anticipated one, and it certainly did not disappoint. It literally wrecked my emotions in so many levels.
Kent is the playboy troublemaker, the “black sheep” of the Kennedy family. Since he was a teenager, everyone dismissed his acting out as a result of immaturity or a way to draw attention. Boy, how wrong they were…This complicated bad boy, with the surprisingly romantic side that rivals every one of his brothers, is as far from immature as they can get. The events that led to his self-destructive behavior are sensitive and not easy to deal with. I don’t want to reveal a lot about the plot, but rest assured that his previous unexplained behavior towards his adorable twin, Keaton, is explained. Presley is exactly what a man like him needs. She is understanding and open-minded, but with an impressive backbone. She has also lived through some soul-wrecking events that left her scarred. However, her determination to fulfill her dreams and turn her life around is what makes her so right for Kent. They can heal each other, even when this requires space to self-grow. The entirely Kennedy family is by their side and it is truly spectacular.
All in all, for me it was maybe, along with Keanu and Selena’s story, the most heartfelt book in the series. My emotions were all over the place – I cried, I screamed, I laughed and swooned, but mostly, I felt in my soul how true love can turn one’s life on its axis. I truly felt for both Kent and Presley. I must congratulate Ms Davis for her unparalleled talent in making our jaws drop on the floor and our hearts ready to combust. You don’t need to have read the previous books to enjoy this one, but they certainly worth the time and effort, so if you haven’t started this series yet, do so, because you are seriously missing out.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
ARC review. I had been looking forward to Reforming Kent because it was the last book in my favorite series of all times not because Kent was my favorite brother. After reading it I’m not only unexpectedly blown away but I feel guilty as hell that I wasn’t emotionally there for Kent along the way. Kent was always in trouble and never seemed to be there for his family and never got anyone’s support not even mine. It was just easier to let things go rather than cause a fight. I love Presley for understanding and being there for Kent even though it made what she was living through harder. They are perfect for each other. Now I just hope there is an epilogue, a bonus scene or even a spin off on this series so I can make sure Kent and Presley’s HEA only gets better through time.
Reforming Kent is the last novel in the Kennedy Boys series. And this book is amazing! Until now Kyler was my favorite Kennedy…but Kent just blew my mind!
This lovestory is everything. Before this book i had very mixed feeling toward Kent. But i always had this feeling that there have to be a devastating reason for his behaviour. Aaaand Siobhan just outdid herself. It was sooooo good that i read this book in one go. I just couldn‘t put it away!
What can i say…Kent is absolutely amazing. I am so happy that he found his perfect match, Presley. They have great chemistry and help each other to overcome all their fears and problems. I am also happy that the whole Kennedy family played an important role as well as the extended family. Once again Siobhan showed their unique bond. Kyler and Kent are my two favorite boys!!!
This is the perfect ending for this series!!!! Siobhan you are so talented. I am so excited what comes next….maybe in the future we get a second generation series!
I’ve been sitting on reviewing this book because in my mind if I didn’t write this review, then this amazing series wouldn’t be over. And what a JOURNEY this series took us on. I am absolutely gobsmacked how Siobhan took a character, that in no eloquent terms, pissed us the fuck off royally in the last book and not only redeemed him, but made him my favorite Kennedy. I SAID WHAT I SAID.
Throughout the entire series we’ve watched Kent self destruct and ruin almost all the relationships around him. He’s a self proclaimed asshole and makes no apologies for it, but then he meets Presley, and she’s so *different.* She doesn’t care about his fame or fortune, she’s not using him for anything, she actually couldn’t care less about him in the beginning and this intrigues Kent like no other. He also sees a light in her, as well as a kindred spirit. His pain recognizes hers, and his soul realizes just how beautiful Presley is, to the depths of her of her core. And when he sets his sights on wooing her? The TRUE Kent comes out. He’s sweet, thoughtful, honest, nervous, humble, and the best of all, so intune with who Presley really is. He leaves gifts and notes for her about how much he admires her and how much she makes him feel infinitely lighter and just happy in the short time they have known one another. Not only did Kent swoon the hell out of Presley, but be swooned ME as well.
These two fall into a quick, intense, passionate all consuming type of love, a soul crushing, destined type of love, but we all know love can’t be enough if you don’t love yourself. Love cannot survive on its own if you are struggling with demons so powerful like Kent (and Pres) are dealing with. And when the downfall hit, it hit HARD. I always had a theory, especially with how he treated Keats in the last book, about what happened to him.. But I had no idea the true depth of absolute hell and torture he went through. My heart was in so much pain that I had to stop and just cry for the boy that Kent was, and who those monsters turned him into being. Siobhan is no stranger to showcasing all the types of abuse that society deems “hush hush” but THIS? Oh my Lord.. This hurt so much. And then you realize his behavior all those year’s wasn’t because he didn’t care about his family, but he was crying out for help in the best way he knew how. But because of all the heartbreak the Kennedy clan has been through, he shut down and kept his pain close to him with it being both on the forefront of his mind, and shoving it away from him. He’s quite literally killing himself and his family never even noticed.. They just brushed him aside and never questioned why such a sweet and happy boy changed so irrevocably over night. (And here I go tearing up again.)
I was so immensely proud of Kent and how he took back his truama and not only let his family know about what happened, but let them know truly how terrible and lonely they made him all feel. In one scene in particular, Kent bared himself completely, and I was just cheering this man on. Presley’s love may had been the catalyst for him wanting to change, but he took his experience in his own hands and came out the other side a whole new Kennedy, one who did everything in his power to make sure what happened to him would never again happen to a young boy. I’m just so in awe of this amazing man.
I in no way am diminishing Presley’s journey. She went through her own hell, and has worked so hard to overcome it, that she hasn’t properly grieved her losses. Kent truly opened her up and made her feel and trust and love all over again, and seeing her come out of her shell and truly living her life was EVERYTHING. But when the bottom fell out of their happy ever after I just wanted to hold her so close to me. Kent and Pres are so closely entangled with the trauma he went though, with who CAUSED all of his pain, and once it all clicked in my head who was really responsible (because trust me, I had so many theories!) I legit SCREAMED out loud. Watching Pres crumble along side of Kent broke me. But she never stopped loving him, even when they thought there was never a way for them to move past all what happened.. She was the only one who truly never gave up on him, but realizing that she had to fix herself too? To love and forgive herself as well? All. The. Tears.
I’m trying to be as vague as possible because while I barley scratched the surface of what all happens in this book, I don’t want to take away from this incredibly beautiful journey these two characters take us on. This is a story of love and redemption in its purest form, and watching two people you know are just meant to be fall apart and then come back together? It was just pure magic. And in true Siobhan form, with her unique prose, I was just so captivated from the very first page. I could not put this book down.
I’ve already said that Kent is my favorite, but the Kennedy triplets have such a special place in my heart. Keats and Keanu and their significant others rallied around Kent & Pres, and those relationships brought more tears to my eyes with his beautiful it was!!! I am just so happy that these two amazing characters found peace and love with one another!!
This was also a bittersweet read for me since we’re all saying goodbye to an era, but Siobhan truly outdid herself with this book. And the way it ended? Pure PERFECTION. I can’t wait until you all experience the magic that is Kent and Presley!!
**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**
There are seriously no words to describe this amazing book. It’s such a bittersweet moment and was prolonging in finishing it because I just didn’t want the series to come to an end. Kent’s book is such an incredible book, best believe you won’t be disappointed. All that angst and heartbreak throughout the book, but so glad he had his HEA he truly deserved it. Siobhan, you’re such a talented writer can’t wait to read your next books
Overall Grade:
I want to say that I have all the words for Siobhan Davis’s Reforming Kent. But I’ll be honest, Davis has left me speechless with Kent’s story. I haven’t read all of the Kennedy Boys’ stories. I came into the series with Keanu’s story which feels like a perfect bookend to Kent’s story with Keaton’s in the middle.
When I read Keanu’s story with Selena, I liked the story. For some reason, it read a little disjointed even though Serena’s story is an important one as it relates to the devastation of human trafficking. Watching them overcome Selena’s past provokes you to recognize the power the reader has to make a difference. And for me, it was a solid 4-star read.
But Kent’s story. Quite honestly, it’s left me speechless and pretty emotional. There was something incredibly cohesive with Reforming Kent. Its heroine, Presley, is my favorite type of heroine. She’s someone who takes no from her hero, and Kent, on the surface, is someone who requires rough handling. A hero whose former claim to fame is a playboy past, it makes sense that Presley would be reticent to give him anything. Yet, Presley eventually sees Kent when no one else does. This book has too many secrets that I can’t provide a lot of story points. Instead, what I will tell you is that this book will leave you captivated in its grasp. Each chapter reveals a little bit more of Kent and Presley’s story, and it’s spell-binding. This was a one-day binge read for me because Davis throws so much at her reader in one book. All of it, every single moment, works towards a message that is important. In fact, one of the things I liked about the books that I’ve read in this series is Davis’s insistence on using her romance to magnify a meaningful societal issue. And Reforming Kent is no different.
If you’ve read this series and Kent has come off as aggressive, out of control, and irresponsible, that’s exactly as Davis intended. However, in the world of fiction, we all know that those characteristics along with substance dependency hide a multitude of hurt. That is all I will reveal about Kent’s story. Understand that there is much much more to Kent than those traits, and this book is so worthy of a read.
From Chapter 1, Siobhan Davis’s Reforming Kent grabbed me. This book made me smile and it made me cry tears. My emotions ran the gamut as page after page reveals Presley and Kent’s story. If you do nothing else today, download this story and get lost in its pages. You won’t regret it. By my estimation, Siobhan Davis saved the best for last.
OMG. Kent killed me. So I think it’s safe to you that we’ve all been waiting patiently for Kent’s book. And we where all hoping it would be big. And let me tell you, it’s beyond big. It’s huge Mx Kent’s story is by far the best out of all the Kennedys. EXCLUDING Faye and Kyler’s. You need to read this book. It will make you laugh, cry and fall in love. This book will take you on a roller coaster and you Won’t want to come of it. Enjoy this masterpiece. And I hope it breaks you the same it broke me. Happy reading.
The final Kennedy Boys book is here. Kent is the youngest of the triplets and is kind of the black sheep. He’s had a bad attitude thru most of the series and always been a troublemaker. He usually got ignored or looked over, which has made him the way he is. No one has ever bothered to ask him about his behavior. Presley is the first woman that Kent has had to work for. He’s drawn to her though and doesn’t want to give her up.
An emotional overload of feelings with this story. My heart hurt for Kent at times. Presley was the perfect match for him. Such an amazing end to this wonderful series.
Totally not what I was expecting for Kent’s story and wow! It really got me — totally emotional and completely invested! I had disliked Kent’s reactions when Keaton came out (in the previous book) and I knew Ms. Davis would have a really good story behind that, so I wasn’t surprised at how intricate and intriguing it was; boy was it intense, though! Enough to have me in tears at a couple points!
All in all, I loved the whole Kennedy Boys series and I think Kent’s story wrapped it up very nicely. The loose ends and seeds that were planted earlier in the series are all resolved and, though I don’t like not having any more installments to look forward to, I feel thoroughly satisfied with the ending.
I always love Ms. Davis’s writing; I find her to be a talented author with a commitment to both the content and grammatical details of her work (which I greatly appreciate)! I also note that because I so enjoy her books, I’m often pushed outside my comfort zone, and Reforming Kent is a good example of a book which did that. I would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a good, intense drama with an amazing romance!
I’ve been waiting SO long for Kent’s story. And despite how angry I’ve been in the past with his behaviour, I have to say this was ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. This is book 10 in a series of standalone novels about the Kennedy Boys and although it can be read as a standalone, I would read the rest simply because this family has meant a lot to me through the years. This was beautifully written and made me laugh and cry and have many many feelings. I’m honestly overwhelmed right now. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this and all opinions are my own.
Like all the Kennedy Boys books this one is epic. Maybe the best one yet. For the last 9 books we’ve watched Kent spiraling in the background and now we get to dig in and learn all about him. I love how Siobhan isn’t afraid to dig deep into the hard stuff that our society doesn’t like to talk about. She blows me away every time.
Leaving our mysterious bad boy for last. Of all the brothers, Kent has been an enigma. Always on the frays, never allowing himself to be close to his family. In true Siobhan Davis form, Kent’s story was both bittersweet, being the last in the Kennedy Boy’s series, but also it was his story.
As a mom myself, I wanted so badly to wrap Kent up in my arms and tell him it will all be okay. Mixing in Presley’s story, giving Kent something to work on, something to strive for, someone to help, gave Kent the drive to finally face his own demons. He had someone worth fighting for, someone who drove him to want to be better, when he thought that everyone else couldn’t care less. Didn’t see his aggression and distance for what they were, a cry for help.
This being the last in the Kennedy Boy’s series, I wanted to soak it up as much as possible, but I ended up with a few nights of staying up way to late, considering the time I had to be awake because I could not stop reading. I hated seeing it end but was glad the last of the Kennedy boys got to tell his story and get his happily ever after.

OMG! Reforming Kent is flipping fantabulous!
Honestly, I love all of the Kennedy men, but I have been looking forward to Kent’s story ever since I read the first book in the series. I just knew that his story was going to be emotional, and boy was it!
Reforming Kent picks up where we left off in Adoring Keaton, which is the ninth book in the series. Even though this is true, Kent’s book can be read as a standalone romance. Just know that his brothers and their partners play a part in the storyline, and it may reference events from earlier books.
Kent has been referred to as the black sheep in the family. He frequently got in trouble, and his family often thought he was just trying to get attention. No one in his family really knew him, and they didn’t even try to find the reason why. That is until he met Prestly. She was the first woman to actually turn him down, and I immediately loved her!
Reforming Kent touched on some pretty difficult topics, and I appreciate the fact that Siobhan did not sugar coat anything. I often felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster ride, and boy did I cry. I love how everything came together in the end, and I especially loved the epilogue.
Another amazing story from author Siobhan Davis!
Voluntarily Reviewed an Advanced Copy
I was hesitant to read this because it is sadly the last of the Kennedy boys. Seriously, I love this group! Kent is a notorious bad boy. He’s had drug and alcohol problems throughout the series and we finally get to see why he’s so broken in this final installment. Heartbreaking revelations in the middle of an epic love story! Presley is exactly what Kent needs. While I am so sad to see this series end (hopefully we see some more, fingers crossed) it could not have ended more beautifully. A+++++
An unforgettable story!
This is one of those books you need time to process after reading it. It was heartbreaking, beautiful, and even with all the pain, hopeful.
Kent and Presley are both dealing with serious issues from their past. Neither is looking for a relationship but their connection is immediate. Kent is the well-known playboy but after meeting Presley feels something different. Presley does not fall for his charm easily which is intriguing to Kent. Kent has to take the time to get to know her and to “woo” her. Kent is cheesy but thoughtful which makes Presley melt.
Their passion across the board is off the charts. Every moment together holding hands, kissing, and more is incredibly steamy and intimate.
They both recognize pain in each other’s eyes, which helps them be supportive as their relationship progresses. As their story unfolds your heart breaks every time you learn something new about their past. Their connection is the perfect match to help each other wade through.
Once every last element was revealed my heart was shattered. I stayed up until 4 am one night to finish the book because my heart needed to know how these characters found their way through and together.
This story is etched into my heart and soul.
This is my first time reading Siobhan Davis and grateful I have come across her work. I read this book as a standalone and it blew me away. I want to read the series from the beginning and have a feeling it will provide even more depth to these incredible characters.
Reforming Kent deals with multiple very serious and dark topics which may be a trigger to some. At the beginning of the book, there is a note from the author mentioning this and not more descriptive as to not spoil the story. Part of the journey of this book is having the situations revealed as the characters go through or deal with them.
RATING:
TROPES: Enemies-to-lovers, New Adult, Angsty Bad Boy
TRIGGERS: Yes, multiple. Please see the note above.

This love story between Kent and Presley was off the charts. I couldn’t put the book down even for a minute. There was some stuff thrown in there that I did not see coming at all but it kept the booking going without any hitches. Overall it was a great ending to the best series around so far. And I’m sad its over but if you haven’t started this series I would go check it out. You won’t be disappointed
