Sad to see the last book in this series but the Kennedy boys (and Brad) have taken us on a long, wild ride through heartbreak and much more.
Tissues at the ready as you dive in to learn what makes Kent tick and why he acts out so much. We met Kent when the triplets were still young and have watch the three of them grow up to be men. We learn Kent’s biggest secret when he finally somewhat confides in Presley, the girl he wants to get to know even though he can’t figure out why.
**This story does contain a few sensitive topics that could be triggers for some**
5 REFORMING KENT STARS!! My emotion buttons were pushed through the whole book. I love this family and Kent was everything. Siobhan Davis has became one of my favorite authors ever….her stories are so memorable. You must read this series and book….do it now.
Wow! This book blew my mind. I have been able to figure things out about all the other boys with just the little hints Siobhan leaves throughout the book, but the secret at the end of this book shocked me! I really couldn’t believe it! This book is so epic. By far one of the best books I’ve read so far.
So, about the book. It has everything in it. Love, passion, suspense, action, pain, rejection, and even sibling distrust. Heart’s aren’t just broken, they are shattered into a million little pieces. In the end though they are put back together in the most beautiful way. All these characters heart’s, the boys and their women included, will never be the same. In this series, and especially in this book, love conquers all.
With that said. There are some triggers in this book. Especially more than the rest of the books. This book is a dark romance and the author does have a warning at the very beginning of the book. There is also some helpful information in the book. So read at your own risk.
All in all, it a wonderful and emotional book. I enjoyed it immensely and I hope you do to!
I knew this book would slay me till the very end with a puffy & snotty nose! My heart is all over the place! All I can say is, wow! Siobhan did another awesome job. I’m going to miss the Kennedy Brothers for sure!
I’m such a HUGE fan of the brilliant Siobhan Davis, so I’ve read a ton of her books. She never fails to impress me with each new story that comes out, and none of them are ever like another to boot. I’m also used to her actually getting my emotions to run amok (or at least my rage anyway) as her heroes aren’t your usual suspects. Kent has been one of those guys who caused so much chaos through the series that I really had no use for him, but I’ve learned that there’s always more than meets the eye, so I was ready for his story, and what a story it was. It’s funny how fate gets involved in people’s lives, especially those who have epically bad pasts with demons that still chase them. Kent comes across Presley, and he is captivated by her. So much so that he wants to be better for her, but he has his work cut out for him since she’s not having it. She’s got her own past which drives her, but when fate is involved?! Well, we don’t stand a chance despite any and/or all mistakes we make trying to deny it. Anyway, I could go on & on & on & on for days about what an amazingly emotional story Reforming Kent is, but it’s just better to experience it for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
This book was so amazing. Honestly, I think Siobhan set the bar really high for herself. This series has been so beloved ever since the first book in the Kyler trio. When we read Adoring Keaton, wow. I think that may have been one of the best books that she’s ever written. It was such an absolute joy to read. So, to have this book come after Adoring Keaton, when Keaton was my favorite of the Kennedy brothers, and I’ve never been a big fan of Kent, and I was super mad at him for what he did in Keaton’s book, well- She had her work cut out for her, to make me like Kent. Also, it’s the last book in the series, which carries it’s own weight as well.
The thing is, I’ve been reading Siobhan from the very beginning, when I was lucky enough to get an ARC of her first book, True Calling. I’ve been on her ARC team ever since then, and was lucky enough to end up on her beta team as well. So, here’s what I’ve learned about Siobhan. She NEVER disappoints. EVER. She writes herself into these crazy corners, where I have no clue how she is going to resolve things, and make it believable and yet she does, every single time. I’ve probably said that before, but it’s true.
So, I knew that this book would be amazing, and I was right. She totally reformed Kent. It was really a privilege to watch him grow throughout this book. He really really grew as a character. It was so great to get into Kent’s head, because you saw who he really was, and it’s not the face that he shows the world.
It’s hard to write too much more without giving anything away, but seriously, clear your schedule when you read this book. I was so obsessed with this book. I really don’t get a lot of solid chunks of time to read but I found a way to make it happen, because I just COULD not put any part of this book down once I started reading it.
This book was a wonderful way to end the beloved Kennedy Boys series. Take a bow, Siobhan, this book is amazing!
Reforming Kent is the last book in the Kennedy Boy’s series. I’m sad to see them go, because I loved this series so much, but I know we will get some other amazing books by this author. I loved Kent so much! From the beginning he was the trouble maker with the I don’t give a crud attitude.
Kent is going through some stuff from his past. He meets Presley at a bar where she works. He finds her interesting, but Presley knows of his playboy ways and won’t fall for another guy like that. Kent can’t stop thinking of Presley, so he continues to go to the bar just to see her. They start a friendship, which turns into more.
However both of their pasts come back to haunt them. Can they help each other through it? Or will it tear them both apart for good?
I really loved this book as well as this series. Kent was the last to come, but he was worth the wait!
** I received a arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Kent my sweet boy. This story is more than a love story, this is a story about over coming trauma, about healing yourself and changing for the better!! Have tissues when reading
“Like I’m walking on water. Like there is light at the end of the tunnel for me. Like I might be worthy of you…”
What a roller coaster!!! Siobhan Davis creates the perfect ending for a perfect series; The Kennedy Boys series is one of a kind, and this book not only delivers the expectations of readers regarding this series but takes control in a whole new way. The fact that this story is so beautifully written and goes beyond the romance between the two main characters is just amazing.
Kent and Presley are like no other couple I’ve read. The strength Presley has to give for everyone is just one tiny part of her true character, and Kent; the bad boy who needed someone so pure and selfless like Pres, who manages to tame the wild in Kent and help him face his true fears. Will Pres be that woman who can tame the bad boy who has it all but what he truly needs?
This book will melt your heart and give the perfect closure we all needed for this series, dive in; you won’t regret it for a second!!
In this series, Kent was always so intriguing, arguably the most intriguing brother of the Kennedy Family, and I can assure everyone you will want to read and know all about him. I will warn you it isn’t all pretty and it’s actually quite explosive but it explains why Kent has struggled for so long and why he tried to escape with his vices.
Meeting Presley was an instant change up for Kent but also a huge challenge, just what he needed. He is very intelligent and has the ability to be so very caring yet projects a much different persona. Presley is a confident, focused and caring young woman who is working towards her goal in life. Together they have amazing chemistry and more in common in a way than originally thought. Both have ‘issues’, for want of a better word, that steer them in their life courses but I won’t say any more to spoil it.
This book was quite intense but it totally hooks you in and you’re absorbed till the very end. You experience all of the emotions with the characters, you can’t help but become wrapped up in them and what happens. I can’t recommend this book or series enough.
Wow, I’m sad to see this series come to an end but omg did Ms Davis blow me out of the water with this book. The anguish and torment as you read, the real life issues and of course love and relationships. It was the perfect way to end the series and it stuck the amazing world building that you can find in any of her books. This by far is one of my favourites books.
Siobhan Davis – The Kennedy Boys Bk 10 – Reforming Kent – Reviewed 10/23/20 – Read 10/21-22/20
When two damaged souls collide, look out world, they are going to set it on fire!!
WARNING: This book contains some dark and sensitive themes. Some scenes may be triggering. Please refer to the note at the start of the book. Also contains explicit sexual scenes.
Kent Kennedy has been a troublemaker since he was 15, but why? Or maybe it was just his way to protect himself. No one knows that he has been surviving by keeping his monsters all under wraps, not letting them out to torment him.
Being a Kennedy, he could have any woman that he wanted! All he had to do is crook a finger, but this spirited bartender has stunned him. She is not like any woman that he has ever known before. No matter what he says, she doesn’t seem to want to have anything to do with him… Hmm, this is a first. Dang, this is confusing, he can’t figure out why he can’t get her off his mind? All he wants to do is win her trust, but she just rejects him with every attempt to win her over! Now, this kind of woman he could live with, maybe there is really a different life for him… at least it is worth going after!!!
After the death of her parents, Presley was thrown into the foster system. Now that she is on her own, she has her life all mapped out with a dream that has kept her going. The dream is the only thing that she can trust, and no one is going to get in the way of it.
Kent Kennedy is the one guy that she wants nothing to do with, his reputation is bad news all the way. But is it the truth? Is there more to him than what he lets people see? Or maybe he is hurting as she has? She has been hurt before and will not let that happen again, it is the only thing that is keeping her going, that and her dream!
But when both face their pasts, can they survive? Kent can’t let her be touched by it and Presley is not sure she can survive it. Will either of them make it?????
Now the story begins…
What did I like? This series has been amazing. Not only has it been action-filled with one of the Kennedy’s featured in each book, but every one of them has had a back story that touches on real life. Just a few of them are, sex trafficking, abuse of women, abuse of children, gangs, and that is just some of the content that shows us problems that have touched the lives of so many. Not only does Siobhan talk about it, she always gives the readers the links to seek help if they or someone they know has been affected. Her story may be fictional, but the problems are real, and it is around us every day. You may not see it, but the real people, men, women, and children are out there and hurting every day. Sometimes they are crying out for help, but because so many have stuck their heads in the sand and don’t want to be involved, they are swept away with the thousands of other hurting ones.
Life is a wonderful gift that each of us receives, maybe it is time to pay forward to others that are not so lucky. Open your eyes and take a good look around you. It does not cost one penny to listen!! Maybe you could help someone one day.
What will you like? Romantic, exciting, mysterious, and emotional. These are just a few of the adjectives that I can think of that describes this book. Each of the Kennedy boys has been featured, on their journey to finding love with the person that they will spend the rest of their lives caring for. But each one (Kennedy or their found loved one) has had to face their pasts; Kent has one that will shock you, as he faces it. Presley has a different one that will tear your heart out. The mysteries surrounding both will keep you on the edge of your seats and you will not sleep till you find out what happens. Be ready to laugh, cry, and shout, or just be touched… the storyline is amazing! This is filled with explicit descriptions and details that will show you the troublesome life of these two incredible characters.
It is with sadness that I write this review as it is the final book in the series. Siobhan has endeavored to bring these different scenarios to our attention in a way that will shock you but also shows you that there is help available for every one of them. Let this series mean something to you or someone that you know, share them, and help to make our world a better place to live in for everyone.

@ddeegott
Reforming Kent is book 10 in the Kennedy Boys Series. It can be read as a standalone. I started this series at book 8 but I fully intend to go back and read all of them. In the last book, Adoring Keaton, Kent comes off as a super jerk. I was so waiting for this one to see how Kent reforms. Kent comes off as a playboy jerk but he really has some bad stuff that happened to him that he’s hiding. Kent did still come off as cocky and needed to prove himself worthy of Presley. Presley makes him work for her attention. She’s been through a lot too. I liked her. These two go through a lot in this book. There’s a lot of stuff thrown at them and some things you don’t know how they are going to get through. I loved this one from beginning to end and I may have stayed but a little late to finish this one.
Reforming Kent is as powerful as it is amazing. It was the heartfelt conclusion to the Kennedy Brothers series.
It invokes all the feels; I laughed and I cried. The clear and powerful message being, your past does not define you.
The theme of unconditional love is very prominent throughout Reforming Kent. Unconditional love not only shared with a significant other, but also the unconditional love of family. The Kennedy Family is the modern family and I enjoyed watching them rally around each other throughout the series. They support each other through thick and thin, and it shows in Reforming Kent.
Siobhan Davis is easily one of my favorite authors. No two books of here are the same, and yet every book is empowering. She takes on every possible genre of romance, and finds a way to resonate with her readers. Her books are always page turners, and while I typically find myself sleep deprived, I feel thoroughly satisfied after reading her latest work.
I highly encourage you to read Reforming Kent. It’s one of my favorite books of 2020 and should be on everyone’s list!
I received an advanced reader copy of this novel. Reforming Kent (The Kennedy Boys Book 10) Siobhan Davis
I’ve read a lot of books written by Siobhan Davis; she has written another excellent book. She is one of my favorite authors.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book. I’ve loved reading the entire Kennedy Boys Series. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
I loved the chemistry between Presley & Kent, and how all the Kennedy’s bonded together and helped Kent overcome the trama he endured as a teenager.
I received a free Advanced Reader Copy of this book and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
This book broke my heart in so many ways. From the very beginning of this series Kent was the only one that I couldn’t figure out and reading this book answered so many questions that I had. Kent has had a terrible past and lashes out at the people that care about him the most. Presley has also had a difficult past when beginning in so many different foster homes. Kent and Presley are two broken souls looking to find the right person who will make them whole again. This book was an emotional journey, twist and turns that you don’t see coming, and secrets are revealed. I truly loved reading this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Early on and already Kent Kennedy is gradually breaking down my walls about THIS brother. Ahhhhh the feels were sooo strong on this one! I’m taking in all that I read. I’m still in a daze. Soooo good! I cannot believe this is the end!
Kent is the one always in trouble. His actions has gotten him into many messes and has a reputation on on being an cocky a##h&*e. As we gotten to know him throughout the series he has always kept us intrigued with his shenanigans. Gosh let me just say that this man redeemed himself that had me in tears and my heart achingly broken.
Presley Barlow is the woman that he did not see coming and one that will bring him down to his knees and break down his walls. The way he is with her will have your head spinning with confusion just because of how he has been with other women. She may have her personal issues that she is dealing with but she is breathe of fresh air in Kent’s tainted life. The question is it just another woman and how long can it really last? Get ready for a ride and an ending to the series that will have you itching to want to reread the series again!
So impactful!! I can’t even find the right words to express how much I loved Kent’s story. All I know is that this story is my absolute favorite of the series…And what a great way to culminate the Kennedy family saga!
Throughout the series, Kent has been the “bad boy”, I always thought there had to be so much more to his backstory and looked forward to learning more about what made him the way he was. I felt there was an underlying deep rooted sadness to his somewhat angry, promiscuous bravado and rebelliousness.
Presley was such a likable character and I loved her determination and resilience despite her childhood experiences. I admired her resolve and cautious nature in protecting herself from being deterred in her pursuit of her dreams. She was someone Kent never knew he needed!
The appearance of the rest of the Kennedy brothers and their families brought such a special closure to their lives. I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this book and series! Reforming Kent can be read as a stand-alone.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Kent has earned his reputation of being the wild child when it comes to his family but there is so much about this man that we don’t know. He is a man who is struggling and tries to numb his pain with self destructive behavior, but it is only a temporary fix until Presley comes into his life and not only forces him to feel but to also face what plagues him.
Presley has a painful past of her own and she believes that allowing Kent into her life could only end in heartbreak but when he turns on the charm he is a force that no one could deny and that includes her. Even after everything she has endured her strength and resilience shines through but will Kent be her salvation or her downfall?
Kent and Presley give each other exactly what they need in their life. Every obstacle they face only makes their love that much stronger and although the emotion and angst of their story will at times tear your heart out seeing them emerge victorious on the other side makes the ending well worth the ride.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Kent’s story has finally been told, and what a heartbreaking emotional story we were given.
Siobhan Davis and her amazing writing has done it again!
The emotion I felt at reading this. Presley and Kent are an inspirational couple that Have been through so much together and apart. I’m so glad that the Kennedy series had some an amazing ending.
I love this family series and am hoping we may see more of them in the future.
Amazing 5 read xx
