Presley
Since I aged out of the foster system, I’ve worked hard for my dream future, and it’s so close. Too close to let some arrogant rich playboy distract me.
I’ve heard all about Kent Kennedy, and with my history of troubled bad boys, I need his attention like a hole in the head. Except he’s nothing I expected and everything I never dared to dream of. As I slowly uncover the truth, I discover a broken man with a big heart who desperately needs someone to see him.
I want to be that person, but his demons loom large, and I don’t know if I’m strong enough to do this again.
When the past rears its ugly head, shattering everything, will there be anything left of my heart to protect?
This book contains some dark and sensitive themes. Some scenes may be triggering. Please refer to the note at the start of the book.

Sad to say goodbye to these boys, but boy did Siobhan end this series beautifully!
I used to never get emotional with movies or books, but the more I read the more I find authors that touch those emotions so deeply. Siobhan is definitely one of those authors. I absolutely loved the depth of this story.
Have been waiting for Kent and this book did not disappoint we all had this picture in our head of how Kent was and we where all wrong he is amazing and miss understood. This book was so moving the struggles, then tension the romance. You thinkng as you read the books this is my favourite book, but then another comes and it changes again but I love all the Kennedy and Kent has become a massive favourite.
Talk about saving the very best for last! This story of soul-shatteringly deep love and hard-fought-for redemption is one for the AGES! It was the perfect finale for our favourite fictional family. Thank you a million times over for sharing your incredible gift with the world, Siobhan!
I can’t stop thinking about these characters and this story – the book hangover/series hangover is real.
I was extremely privileged to beta read Reforming Kent and rate it 10+ stars
OMG! Kent is one of the Kennedy Brothers triplets and the focus of this final series book!.
A page flipping attention grabber from start. Palpable feelings and emotions age appropriate. I felt actual there and going through with him and fam. Each book brings a new dimension to each Kennedy brothers. Kent & Pres new favorite.
*I was given a copy and am voluntarily giving my honest review
It is hard to say Goodbye to the “Kennedy Boys” series and glad that Kent has finally found true happiness from the anger he’s had for years.
Did not know what to expect, but Siobhan has created a very heartfelt story for Kent, when he meets Presley… Kent truly does reform and Presley could not be more suited for him.
Touch and go a bit but as always, be patient for Kent and his true self will shine.
I feel that this series has not truly ended and Siobhan may just put a little something together for us. But if not, I’m glad each Kennedy brother has found their someone special…
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Absolutely loved it!! Kent and Pres’ story is one of the most emotional books I’ve ever read; cried and laughed and loved every single word of this book! Intrigued with this triplet since the beginning of the series but, as usual, couldn’t imagine any of Siobhan’s plot twists!! ALL THE FEELS A bit sad to say bye to this amazing clan. Kennedys 4 ever . I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary
Siobhan real has out done it with Kent’s story. We have always seen Kent as the troubled bad boy who didn’t care aboit no one but himself. This story show’s us a whole different side of him that really grabs your heart and tears it apart as well as repairs it and the journey is rough but beautiful at the same time. And Presley this poor girl has also been through so much but her journey was also wonderful to read. These two characters couldn’t be any better for each other and to watch their growth together and as individuals was amazing to read about. It’s full of heart ache, struggles, and many obstacles to over come but they do it and its magical. I couldn’t put this book down once I started. The whole Kennedy journey was an amazing one to be apart of and read how each one of them has grown throughout each of their stories. But this last book took the cake and Siobhan definitely saved the best for last. The Kennedy’s couldn’t have ended any better and Kent along with all of them will stay with me for a long time to come. This book deserves way more then 5 stars. If you haven’t started this series or this book yet you are missing out on so much and you should absolutely start it as soon as possible you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to see what else is to come from this author.
Give me your truths, Kent. Even if those truths hurt. At least it will be real.
Talk about saving the best for last… my troubled, bad boy, black sheep’s story is finally here!
/ : Reforming Kent, book number TEN of the Kennedy Boys Series, and the long-awaited and HIGHLY anticipated conclusion to the series that made me fall in love with Siobhan Davis’s writing. Although Reforming Kent IS a standalone, I absolutely recommend reading the rest of the Kennedy Boys Series in order to gain a better grasp and understanding of the Kennedy family dynamic, as well as to have a better reading experience. the Kennedy Boys Series is about a dysfunctional family who’s had their fair share of scandal and drama, and it’s all played out in the public eye. Over the years I have become so invested in this family that as much as I wanted to dive right into Reforming Kent, I held off. I wanted to prolong the pain of finally saying goodbye as long as I possibly could but boy oh boy, once I did jump in… it was impossible to put it down! The series is finally complete and I guarantee once you start, you won’t be able to put them down! Reforming Kent was no different, I was so excited to see the bad boy black sheep finally meet the woman who knocks him to his knees.
Kent Kennedy personifies trouble. No matter how tempting his exterior is, there is no denying Kent is a bad boy who breaks hearts all over the place.
Siobhan Davis is an incredible author. She doesn’t shy away from the tough subjects that most romance authors try and avoid which is exactly why she is one of my top one-click authors and I don’t see that changing any time soon. Just when I think “Oh yeah, she’s outdone herself and there is no topping this one!” she releases another unputdownable story that has me eating my words! Davis has truly outdone herself with Reforming Kent. If you are a fan of the Kennedy’s then you know that from the very beginning readers always knew that SOMETHING was going on with Kent, and now we finally have the answers to why this bad boy was so, soo bad. Over the years readers of the Kennedy Boys Series have seen just how bad this bad boy can be but after reading Adoring Keaton … I had just about lost hope for one of my favorite Kennedy’s and I questioned how on earth Davis was going to be able to reform the ultimate bad boy and make him a character that readers could root for. And once again, Davis made me eat my words!
He is physically beautiful, hiding all the broken, tormented parts on the inside.
Reforming Kent is NOT going to be an easy read, it’s going to hurt. But trust me, it’s oh so worth it. I HIGHLY recommend not only Reforming Kent by the entire Kennedy Boys Series!
And for the first time in a long time, something, or someone, has pulled my head out from under the black hole I’ve been living in.
Presley thinks she’s immune to my charms.
I can’t wait to prove her wrong.
() : Kent Kennedy, the troubled bad boy, the black sheep, the playboy, the troublemaker. Throughout the Kennedy Boys Series, we have watched Kent push his self-destruct button over and over again. He’s ruined his relationship with the majority of his family members (especially Keaton, one of his triplets) while he abused drugs, alcohol, and sex. He made it hard to like him, much less love him.
But in rare vulnerable moments, we have seen that there could be another side of Kent. Those moments are what drew me to him. There was no doubt that there was SOMETHING that had happened or that was going on with Kent to make him act out the way he was but with each new Kennedy book we only were left with more questions about what was going on with Kent.
His story was one I never saw coming. I never could have imagined that the meanest boy of the series was the most broken one. Everything you think you know about Kent, think again. By the end of the book, the transformation that we see in Kent is MINDBLOWING. We finally meet the actual Kent Kennedy and it was an absolute pleasure.
(ℎ) : Presley Barlow, an art student, and bar manager at Ramshackle, a rundown bar that’s in a not so great part of town. Presley has big plans and is hoping to eventually own her own tattoo shop but she has her fair share of problems, mainly her drug-addict ex-boyfriend and her gang member foster brother…
How do I make you feel, Kent?”
“Like I’m walking on water. Like there is light at the end of the tunnel for me. Like I might be worthy of you. Like I could be happy with you. You consume my thoughts, and I just want to be with you because you fill me full of feelings I never thought I’d ever get to experience. We haven’t even had sex, and it doesn’t matter because I just want to exist with you.
We were first introduced to Presley at the end of Adoring Keaton and I just KNEW that she was going to have Kent on his knees! I immediately fell for Pres! She’s independent, strong, resilient, compassionate, street smart, courageous, caring, and loyal. Sometimes loyal to a fault… Presley gave just as good as she got and she didn’t just throw caution to the wind and give into Kent like most of his conquest nor did she hold all those preconceived notions against him because of the way the media portrays him… well not for long anyway. Very quickly Pres sees that there is much more to Kent than meets the eye.
/ & : For the first time ever, Kent finds a woman that he wants more from than just her body and he will stop at nothing to make her give him a chance. I loved, loved, LOVED, seeing this whole other side of Kent that Presley brings out of him. She makes him woe her and woe her he does! The flowers, gifts, and meaningful love notes were so incredibly thoughtful and they made me fall for him even more. Kent found someone who understood and accepted him in Presley and she was the perfect heroine for him. The steam… if you’ve ever read anything by Siobhan Davis then I doubt I even need to tell, but if you haven’t then let me just say…
You taste like heaven on my tongue, and it’s only fair to warn you I think I’m addicted to you.”
I push him flat on his back, straddling his hips. “I think it’s fair to say I’m on my way to being addicted to you too.
ℎ: One of my favorite things about reading a new Kennedy book is being able to check out what’s going on with the previous Kennedy’s. They have such a supportive family unit that there are always multiple scenes of the main characters and the rest of the family too. But I especially loved those scenes this time around. Watching the gang rally around Kent when things were brought to light… I couldn’t help but shed a few tears.
I’ve thrown shade at all my brothers for being pussy-whipped,” I admit. “Scoffed at their declarations of love and looked down my nose at the idea that it could exist for me. You’re challenging my entire belief system, Presley baby, and I’m scared I will let both of us down because that’s what I’m good at.
I didn’t want to but because she has been such a HUGE part of Kent’s story over the years in the other stories, I couldn’t not mention the Wicked Witch of New York… Whitney. Plus I know that some readers were shocked/confused/upset/glad when they found out Whitney was NOT Kent’s forever love, I myself can’t say that I was upset… AT ALL! That relationship was completely toxic and there was so much BAD that Whitney (and Kent too!) had done that there was no way that relationship could have been turned around, I despised Whitney for the way she treated Faye and I just couldn’t see HER being the one who saved our bad boy and helped make him become the best person he could be as our other heroines have done with their Kennedy boy.
Last but certainly not least, Imogen, Presley’s best friend. I am keeping my fingers AND toes crossed hoping for a book about her and Rafe!
ℎ : *Sigh* Nope, no cliffhanger. Reforming Kent was bittersweet. Although the book was a perfect way to end this amazing series, it’s the end of the series and now we have to say goodbye to the fictional family that we all know and love. BUT… there is a whole lot of kids, who knows maybe we’ll get a second-generation series?!?! (HINT, HINT Siobhan!)
: Again, Davis doesn’t shy away from tough subjects and it’s no different in Reforming Kent. There are a couple of difficult subjects that could be considered triggers. If you would like to know more about what those subjects are, feel free to DM me, I would rather not post since they would definitely be considered spoilers.
You reformed me, Presley baby.”
“You reformed yourself, Kent. Never forget that no one can save you if you don’t save yourself first.
I have loved every single book in this series, and I cannot believe it is over. The Kennedy boys and the amazing ones they love have been everything. Kent was a tough one for me in the previous books as he was always hurting those around him the worst ways. His actions were deplorable, and I just really needed to know why he was so destructive towards himself and others. I knew this would be one of the toughest books in the series in terms of past trauma, but it was also really beautiful to see how the family came together to help and begin to heal. I definitely felt all the feels seeing where the rest of the siblings were at with their families, and while it is sad that it has come to an end, I’m really happy with how everyone ended up. I cannot wait to do a whole series reread now. I just really love me some Kennedys.
***I voluntarily read a complimentary ARC of this book.***
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. This book was absolutely breathtaking! I laughed, I cried, I swooned and I fell in love. Wow Kent stole the show and this book tied all the brothers together so perfectly. There are no words to describe how captivated I was with Kent and Presley. Both characters had depth and this book kept me glued. I would definitely recommend!
I started the Kennedy Boys with Keaton. And just with one book, I KNEW I needed to know more about Kent.
I LOVE HIM.
I have a weakness for the broken, the dark, and Kent hits every single one of my ‘wants’.
Siobhan makes you feel so much. You learn and grow with our characters, and you feel their pain, their desire, and their joy. You get sucked in and you don’t want to leave.
You guys. I loved this book!
The Kennedy boys will always be one of my favourite series and I’m devastated that it’s finished, but my god, what a way to end it!
I can’t even explain how much I loved this story. It was so heartbreaking to read everything Kent went through. He’s always my favourite brother and I couldnt wait for his story. We know from previous stories that something was bothering him but I did not expect that at all. I’m so glad he got his happy ending though, out of all of the Kennedy brothers he deserved it the most
This has been, in my opinion, the best book in the series. (and that’s saying something because I love them all) Its a solid 5* story for me
Gahh, I can’t believe it’s over!
Siobhan Davis brings her Kennedy Boys series to an epic end.
For years, heartbreaker bad boy Kent Kennedy has created a dark and destructive persona that woman can’t seem to resist except for the spirited bartender who’s mesmerized him. Kent is determined to break down her walls of resistance, but he didn’t expect his would come crumbling down as well.
Graduate student by day and bartender by night, Presley dreams of having her own tattoo shop. Her past has taught her that she shouldn’t get involved with bad boys, especially not rich, arrogant playboys. Yet their kindred spirits and made chemistry are impossible to ignore. But what happens when their pasts come crashing down and old scars that never truly healed are reopened? Can they survive?
I met Kent right from the very beginning and saw how this troubled teen grew more out of hand with each book. There was obviously something driving his behavior, and I was just as saddened as he was that no one seemed to be able to get through to him. I really wanted him to have a happy ending just like the rest of the Kennedys but didn’t see how.
Siobhan Davis does a wonderful job writing Kent’s transformation from bad boy to devoted boyfriend, and loving brother and son. With the help of Presley and his family, who he had alienated himself from because of their judgement and neglect, he’s able to find happiness.
I loved how the entire Kennedy family was integrated into this story and how we, the Kennedy Boys fans, got updates on the previous couples.
Drama and swoon, suspense and cheese, this book has it all. Siobhan writes an angsty can’t-put-down novel with an epic happy ending to close out the series.
Reforming Kent is book #10 in the Kennedy Boys series by Siobhan Davis. This is a standalone new adult romance, perfect for The Kennedy Brothers fans. Told from both points of view, with a happy ending.
What a beautiful ending to the Kennedy Boys series. Kent was a masterpiece. It doesnt matter how much you liked or disliked Kent in the other books, you will end up loving him here. This book was very emotional and Davis is a master story teller taking the reader’s emotions all over the place. I loved every moment of it and am really glad I got to experience this whole series. It’s a must.
What a gripping end to a great series! Sure gonna miss the Kennedy boys and their drama. Kent’s story brings the saga to a close, full of revelations , twists that we’ve come to expect from Ms Davies and loose ends have also been neatly tied up. Our bad boy finally finds a girl who brings out that inner romantic side that has been a long time coming. Presley stands up to him, giving Kent a run for his money, quite literally(!) and is the ideal companion for him. She hasn’t had an easy life. Events that follow will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, unable to put the book down.
Be sure to have enough time to read as once you start…
Can be read as a standalone but always better to start from the beginning. Otherwise you’ll miss out on all the angst and one helluva ride!!
I received a complimentary copy of this book.
Wow! This book broke my heart and healed it all at the same time! Kent and Presley’s love is so intense and so passionate. It had me laughing one minute, crying the next and all the others in between. I think Kent’s story might just be my favourite yet and that is really saying something given all of the love I have for the other Kennedy boys!
The powerful writing style of Siobhan paired with this plot really touched me on so many levels. It was truly painful to read at times and also mesmerising at other times! This was the final book to the Kennedy Boys series I didn’t know I needed! Thank you Siobhan!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Presley’s not impressed by the drunk guy in the bar where she works. She’s noticed him going home with a different woman every night, and she’s not about to get involved with a guy like that who will just break her heart. But Kent sees her disinterest as something to pique his interest, something to challenge him, and he’s more than enough interesed in her to make up for her seeming lack of interest in him. Will the playboy with issues get the one he wants?
Presley’s got her own set of issues to contend with, though. When her demons crash into his, will Kent lash out or will they manage to make it through their many, many obstacles?
Reforming Kent is a doozy of an emotional gutwrencher! I won’t spoil, I’ll just say that Kent backstory was more than enough to explain his self-destructive spiral. I felt for the man even as I despaired he’d ever heal, ever reconcile with his family, reconcile what had happened to cause him so much pain. Thank God for Presley, because she was strong enough for both of them. I adored her and her strength and how perfectly she and Kent fit with each other. Siobhan certainly saved the best Kennedy for the last – I’m going to miss this family!
can’t picture a better ending to a series that I not only love but to a family I have come to feel a part of! Is this ending and easy one no! Kent has always had a deep rooted pain one that you could feel steaming off the pages with each book! I couldn’t wait for his story but it was fitting to have him last! The pain he carried, the hurt was something they needed to address as a family and this is one strong family for sure!
Over the years (yes I have loved Shiobhan’s books that long) I have come to admire her ability to take tough real world issues head on in her writing! She address the ugly and gets down to bottom of it! Does real life always work out like it does in books no but it gives me hope! I also love it because she shows just how tough love can be! It’s messy and ugly. Wether it’s family or relationships love can be brutal, but it’s worth it!
Kent’s story was a rough one but it was so worth it! Every tear I shed, every laugh and every ounce of angst I felt made me fall harder for Kent and Presley! Their loyalty and dedication was breathtaking! Presley on her own is a heroine I will always remember! Her resilience was stunning and it was that fire that became a beacon to Kent! They never tried to change the other only guided them to be the best version of them self!
I hate that this is it for the Kennedy’s because this family has consumed my soul since book one but I know this isn’t the very last we will “hear” of them! If you have not started this series or only read a few please take a chance on this family because each brother is amazing in their own right and seeing this family grow has been a beautiful adventure! Thank you Shiobhan for bringing us this family and honoring us with your beautiful words!
I am so sad this is the final Kennedy Boys story. Each one was absolutely fabulous and this one is certainly the same. Poor Kent. If only we had known how he was suffering, we might have thought very differently about him. When he meets Presley in a bar, there is just something about her that won’t let go. He can’t stop thinking about her even though she shuts him down every time he makes a move on her. Presley has fought her own demons and is drawn to this gorgeous bad boy. Chris, her ex lover is a drug addict. Her other friend Clay is into being a gangster. She has enough to deal with already. But Kent persists. He wants this woman badly. Very badly. And he still wants nothing to do with his triplet Keaton and his fiance. He insists he isn’t going to their wedding. Why? Is it because they are gay? And why would this upset him so badly? Such an emotional read and I couldn’t put it down. How the author has dealt with the storyline is just so good. And what an ending to this unbelievable series. Brilliant.
Well readers, it all comes down to this! The rollercoaster lives of The Kennedy Boys series comes to an end with this tenth installment that packs yet another emotional wallop as the youngest of the triplets finally gets the attention he deserves in this story of opposites attracting. Add in dealing with a past riddled with pain and you end up with a hero who’s been torturing himself through nine previous books, one who finally finds some healing and a richly rewarding HEA by the turn of the final page.
Kent Kennedy’s always been seen as the black sheep of the family. He’s been labeled as reckless, self-destructive, quick to anger, and even quicker to drink and sleep away his pain through numerous one-night stands. While starting college seems like a good time to start over, it’s his meeting sexy and sassy bartender Presley that gives him an even bigger reason to change how he’s been going through life. From the moment readers first met Kent they saw someone very rough around the edges, someone with constant anger just bubbling beneath the surface. He’s brash, loud mouthed, and makes no apologies for how he lives his life. The Kent seen here is ready to change, wanting to change as his attraction to Presley becomes more vital to him than breathing, and it has him wanting to become a better man for her. She doesn’t make it easy for him though as he undertakes a charming and heartwarming journey to win her over. Through sweet words and endearing gifts he woos Presley one day at a time while revealing a softer side to his personality. Along the way his past comes to the forefront in reveals that broke my heart and had me wanting to hug him. His truths are painful, and explain a lot of why he’s been the kind of person he’s been, but Ms. Davis dealt with the pain in an honest and respectful way that many will be able to relate to. His time with Presley isn’t only romantic but it’s healing too and as he falls harder for her he discovers he’s also worthy of love in a powerful connection that felt like a weight finally being lifted off the battered and bruised Kent.
Presley is a wonderful heroine, a perfect match to Kent as she’s strong-willed with a big and kind heart more than capable of helping him heal. For most of her life she’s only been able to count on herself, dealing with her own traumatic past with only a small group of friends she can call on. Her life hasn’t been all sunshine and flowers, but it’s made her who she is today…just the woman Kent needs. Theirs is a crackling connection from the moment they meet. In a journey of hard truths and unexpected twists and turns comes a real romance full of heart and soul. Through every tear, through every heartache, Presley loves with her whole heart and it’s her lightness that shows Kent a way out of his darkness in an unforgettable romance.
Ms. Davis has crafted a near-flawless series of books featuring the Kennedy family with one delicious sibling after another taking center stage. The books have been an emotional smorgasbord, dealing with heavy topics without sugar coating them, and each installment has left an indelible mark. This series-ender is the perfect conclusion as it highlights the healing power of love and acceptance between two people held captive by their pasts. Family too plays a big role and the family interactions seen here warmed my heart through their imperfect yet realistic interactions. Readers looking for an immensely satisfying romance, a romance worth every painful emotion, will want to add The Kennedy Boys series to their bookshelf and discover each unforgettable character on their own from the very beginning!
