Presley
Since I aged out of the foster system, I’ve worked hard for my dream future, and it’s so close. Too close to let some arrogant rich playboy distract me.
I’ve heard all about Kent Kennedy, and with my history of troubled bad boys, I need his attention like a hole in the head. Except he’s nothing I expected and everything I never dared to dream of. As I slowly uncover the truth, I discover a broken man with a big heart who desperately needs someone to see him.
I want to be that person, but his demons loom large, and I don’t know if I’m strong enough to do this again.
When the past rears its ugly head, shattering everything, will there be anything left of my heart to protect?
This book contains some dark and sensitive themes. Some scenes may be triggering. Please refer to the note at the start of the book.

This is one of my favorite Kennedy series of all time besides Kyler’s who will always be my number 1. Siobhan made me feel every emotional possible in this book. I laughed, I loathed, I fell in love, and I cried (many many times). My heart went out to Kent and Presley’s heart wrenching stories. They both had so much heartache and loss but they just couldn’t deny the love they had for themselves and how much they needed each other. Such a great book to end the series. You’ll greatly be missed my Kennedy boys! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book and every word is my true and honest thought of this book. Enjoy because you won’t be disappointed!
Having finished reforming Kent and few days ago I have finally pulled myself out of my slump of the realisation that the Kennedy boys are now finished. Siobhan Davis this was wow wow wow going to miss these guy’s you truly did save the best tell last. What a beautiful ending to a beautiful series.
I’ve always had a soft spot for bad boy Kent and his dirty mouth but this book is a eye opener and a tear jerker with a beautiful outcome.
Having read all this series Kents attitude stunk towards his family and was very much a player and didn’t care who he hurt along the way as long as he was happy with what ever he was doing be it drink drugs sex. Until Presley walked into his life and knocked him sideways.
The love story is so sweet between these two. And you get to meet a much loving caring side to Kent with his romantic gestures flowers and little note’s until it all goes bang. But Presley love him to the bone I’m so glad Kent got his happy ending . Although I’m now it all over
The perfect goodbye to my favorite family. I’m sad to see this series end Siobhan has given us the perfect end. From falling in love with the whole family to finally getting Kent’s happy ending. This book does have trigger warning so be prepared. Another superb read. I’m gonna miss the hell out of this family.
Interesting story with a sweet and steamy romance. The connection between Kent and Presley is wonderful; passionate and understanding. Very heartfelt and well-written story. Kent has been the troubled Kennedy throughout this whole series; we finally get to know more about what makes Kent tick. I’m glad this one starts with him trying to be better; we’ve had plenty of him in destructive mode through this whole series, he still has his issues, but he’s trying to deal. He’s an addict; it’s his coping mechanism, and he needs to realize that you need to put effort into others if you want them to put effort into you. I still don’t see the allure of him, but I liked him better than I have this whole series. I liked Presley, but girl makes some seriously bad decisions; she’s a big hearted person that allows toxic people into her life. I wasn’t a fan at first of Kent and Presley because it seemed Kent’s interest was the whole she said no, so I must have her scenario, but as the story progressed I began to see their connection deepen. Both have issues they need to deal with in their lives; very dark things. I wasn’t a fan of some things in the ending, but glad to see the whole Kennedy clan in this book.
I liked this story, but I didn’t like reading it. I just don’t want to read things like this anymore; lots of trauma and rape scenarios, it seems like rape scenarios are just in so many things, and I’m just tired of reading about it. There is that ray of hope, but I don’t want to trudge through the devastation first; it’s too depressing. I don’t need these types of books in my life. I have really enjoyed the majority of this series and have loved many of this author’s books; I’m sad that many of her recent books tend to lean towards shock value darkness, so I’ll probably stay away from any of her darker books in the future. I still think she’s an awesome author though! I’ve rated this book with a 4, but I just wish she wouldn’t have so much sexual assault in her books. I miss books more like her earlier work. Still entertaining and touching.
I was so excited, counting the moments until this book hit my kindle because I knew it was going to be amazing. But oh my god my friends, I could never, NEVER have mentally prepared myself for the emotional beating my heart would endure with this book. Siobhan Davis shattered me, broke me, tore me apart in every single way before she put me back together again in what will absolutely be one of my top reads of 2020. Kent and Presley’s journey is so devastating and gritty and heartbreakingly raw. But it’s beautifully heartfelt and healing and the most poignant and perfect example of overcoming insurmountable obstacles and adversity and growing not only as individuals but as a new couple in love. At its core it’s about being broken, shattered in the worst possible ways, and happening upon your one perfect person who has the capabilities to put your broken pieces back together again. My friends, Reforming Kent was a remarkable story that will remain in my heart long after the last page was read. I will think about this story for days if not weeks to come. Because it is one of those kinds of tales that burrow into your hearts and soul and will remain there.
Kent is the perfectly damaged and broken book boyfriend. He’s young, hot, reckless and has no conscience about his behaviors, or so it seems. He’s just so unapologetically angry at the world and is out to punish everyone, even those who can’t understand why. My heart just bled for this miserable misunderstood bad boy.
I’m so grateful that Siobhan chose to do Kent’s story last, because I think as we read each brother’s story leading up to this book we got to see glimpses of the paths of destruction he left in his wake. For years he suffered, but definitely never in silence. He was a tsunami of anger and resentment at the world, ready to unleash his fury onto anyone at any given time and we needed to see that build up of madness to really appreciate just how much of a transformation we see in his character. It was truly extraordinary.
Presley is gorgeous and sassy and at first wants NOTHING to do with playboy Kent. But Kent can’t help to be drawn to the fiery bartender and wants nothing more than to own her body, but who knew she would end up owning his heart. This beautifully broken girl, this phoenix who has risen from the ashes of her grief and put herself back together again after tragedies from her past is everything he never knew he needed and all that he wants most in the world. She is strong, she is courageous, she is everything and more. She is the picture of perseverance and the perfect heroine for our Kent. But can our Presley save Kent when it seems like he doesn’t want to be saved? Or will he destroy her in the process?
My cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
-Infinite number of Stars in the sky for this amazing last book in the phenomenal Kennedy Boys series. I could literally go on for days, actually for weeks and sing from the rooftops the praises I have for this book and for the main characters Kent and Presley. This fantastic romance is going to take you on a roller coaster of feelings complete with loop-de-loops and backwards crawls! Reforming Kent is a must Read when you just need a good release of the build up of tears that can only come with an epic book hangover kind of therapeutic cry!
– Hot Hot Damn y’all!! Kent and Presley could not be any freakin hotter. They are absolutely smokin!
Cliffhanger Warning- No cliffhanger!
Trigger Warning- This book contains subject matter that could be a trigger for some folks. I’m not going to give specific spoilers. I will just say both of these two have been through some stuff and it’s not always easy to read about it, but how the characters come out in the end was so important to their journey. If you have any specific questions please feel free to PM me.
“There’s no denying how dangerous Kent is. To himself and to others. To me. Because he radiates this dark, destructive energy that is as alarming as it is appealing. That fact is the single biggest issue I face because I’ve always been drawn to dark, reckless, broken boys who hide behind a mask. I don’t know if I have a hero complex or I’m just too damaged myself, but I gravitate towards these guys like it’s a compulsion. Like I’ve no choice.”
Destructive and mechanical. Those are the two words the describe Kent Kennedy. 1/3 of the Kennedy triplets, and to others a black sheep or indifferent to most. He is simply existing, and living his life the only way he thinks he can by shutting off his emotions and closing the door to his constantly raging thoughts in his head.
Determined and fractured describes Presley. The girl who seems to be put together on the outside; fighting to make a better life for herself, but is a shell of who she used to be.
Together they are magnetic. The push that Kent brings to the table and the pull of Presley’s emotions about them is explosive, and I wasn’t ready for either of them. “Reforming Kent,” is book 10 of the Kennedy Series by Siobhan Davis, and can be read as a standalone. It is an enemies to lovers romance, and deals with darker themes throughout the story.
This story shattered my heart into pieces. Between Kent and Presley, there were so many secrets that come to light and had me not so silently rooting for both of them as individuals and together. That no matter what life altering pieces of their pasts did not make them who they were today. That they were bigger than, and strong enough to overcome the ghosts in their closets.
This book destroyed me and I’m still not over it. Siobhan you allowed us to close on the Kennedy Boys with a BANG, and you definitely saved the best for last.
Omg the way that you needed this series was beyond what I ever expected. We finally get to see what made him the way he is and how love the of a good woman could start to bring him back to life. But what I didn’t expect was that and how I crowed for him. Shayne was so strong but she never really knew her own life and what was going on but together they made love come truth for them both. I just wish it wasn’t the end of these boys now men. I’m going to miss them so. Thank you for giving me a way to escape life when I needed to. Can’t wait to see what’s next. I give it 5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book as an Advanced Reader’s Copy
I could NOT put this book down!
Kent and Presley’s story is a gritty, heart-wrenching romance that draws upon so many issues and things that do happen but shouldn’t in this day and age. It was amazingly written, showing how Kent’s and Presley’s experiences had effected them even years later, but also showed you a love that could heal the cracks. Reading Siobhan’s work, leaves you wanting the love that you read in her books but Reforming Kent, has you dreaming about a love that accepts your flaws as well as help pave the way, to you healing your own cracks. It’s a romance, that will make you smile, make you laugh, and make you cry but the journey is so worth it! This book, had me ugly crying so make sure to get your tissues ready!
Kyler who? Keven who? Kyler and Keven have always been my favourites but no one compares to Kent! #TeamKent
I can’t believe that this is the end of the Kennedy Boys… it’s definitely a spectacular ending to a phenomenal series!
Siobhan Davis, you are the gift that just keeps giving! Honestly, somehow your work gets better and better with each new release!
This book wow!! I love the Kennedy Brothers series but I have to say Kent and Presley’s story gutted me in the best way which made it the absolute best ending to the series. These two keep you on your toes. All the ups and downs and ins and outs of their journey made my heart melt. Loved it!!!
While I’m incredibly sad to see the ending of the Kennedy Boys series, I couldn’t have asked for a better finale. Kent’s story is emotional and, at times, difficult to get through, but it’s one all of us Kennedy fans have been eager to get our hands on. Why does Kent act the way that he does? What is his problem with Keaton? And will he ever find love and settle down? All of these questions have been racing around our heads since the beginning and now we get a chance to see if they will be answered.
Of course, I’m not going to spoil anyone by telling you if they are answered, or what those answers might be, but I will say this, You will NOT be disappointed. There is so much anguish, tears, steam and forgiveness in this book. It actually had me putting it down for the night a couple of times due to the intense feelings it was causing in me! I think it’s a beautiful thing when an author can make the reader react to a character as if they were a real living person whom they care about. That’s true for every single one of the Kennedy Boys books, but I think none so much as this one.
Presley is a strong character to bring into the Kennedy world. She is independent and street wise, but so amazingly caring and loyal to those she calls loved ones. I think it would be very interesting to have a prequel book that tells the story of her growing up, (or any of the girls in the books before they met the Kennedy Boys, hint hint Siobhan!) Perhaps her loyalty is to a fault, but she learns and grows from those mistakes.
If you want a book that’s full of hidden torment, steamy romance, family struggles and forgiveness, and being strong enough to face your demons, this is the book for you. And, of course, if you’re already a fan of the series, you’re not going to want to wait to pick this one up!
*I was blessed with an advanced copy of this book that I voluntarily reviewed.*
Only my second book by this author in this series, or ever. I Loved IT!!!! I loved everything about it! I’m changing how many books I’ve read by this author as soon as possible!!!
Kent and Presley, well fleshed. Loved Presley’s perseverance. Her doggedness to get what she wants and she’s earning it! Really earning it!
Kent’s the, has it all, popular, go home with a new girl every night guy!
Then, there’s something about Presley! Will she be another notch? Is she more than that? Can she be more than that for Kent?
This story was un-put-downable for me!!!!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This book is WOW! Siobhan Davis twisted my emotions around every part of this book. Presley wrapped Kent up. She was his light. Her story was so sad too, but what came back around killed me.
When we get to the truth of Kent’s story, I was in tears. It was heartbreaking. It was so much more horrible than I thought, but finally telling it was the turning point for him. Walking thru it was hard with his family.
Everyone kept saying how great this story is to wrap up the Kennedys. I completely agree. I would have never imagined how this story came together. It was a beautiful story.
Rating:
Crazy good!
The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance:
Heat/Steam:
Story/Plot:
World building:
Character development:
The setting: Mattapan, Boston, Harvard Law School
The Hero(s): Kent Kennedy – His family is famous and he is a playboy with issues. He is serious about school during the week, but parties like there is no tomorrow on the weekends. He does drugs and gets wasted every weekend and goes home with different girls every all the time.
The heroine: Presley – a bartender and an art student. She is one of the managers of a bar called the the Ramshackle where Kent hangs out. She wants to eventually own her own Tattoo shop, so she is saving her money to pay for art school and a Tattoo apprenticeship.
The Love Story: Kent meets Presley one night at the bar he hangs out at on the weekends and can’t get her out of his mind. Presley is attracted to Kent who is famous, tall, good looking and muscular, but she is leery of dating a guy who goes home with different women every night. Kent makes some changes for Presley and romances her by sending her gifts and flowers with little notes and Presley eventually gives in.
This book is a standalone but also is number 10 in the Kennedy Brothers series. I haven’t read any of the previous Kennedy brothers books so my take on it is as a first time reader of the series. The entire Kennedy family is included in the book and Kent is one of the triplets (along with Keanu and Keaton). The family is integrated well into the standalone book, though one thing I couldn’t really figure out is why this family is so famous. Is it one of those things were they are just famous for being rich (like Paris Hilton) or is one member of the family famous so they all are in the limelight?
Other than that everything is explained pretty well and I like the family involvement. Kent has an issue with his brother Keaton being gay and marrying his partner Austin, but it is all very mysterious and seems to have more to do with something that happened to Kent a long time ago and the fact that nobody in his family was there for him at the time.
At the time of writing this, I am less than 30% done with the book and I bet we can all guess what the nature of that thing that happened to Kent is which resulted in his homophobia. I am pretty sure this is not a spoiler since I see references to it in some of the reviews from Keaton’s book, so I am not giving away any more than what was in that book. I would like to say though that the storyline is certainly interesting and I loved the way it was handled. Kent was terrific at his brothers wedding.
Kent isn’t the only one with issues, though. Presley has an ex that is a drug addict and still in her life as well as a foster brother she feels closer to than if they were blood related and he is a bit of a shady character. There is a lot of conflict in this story by Siobhan Davis is quite a great storyteller so it all comes together so well. The last half of the book was so terrific. I thought I knew exactly what was going on but I had no idea and was completely flabbergasted. I love it when a story is unpredictable like that.
I voluntarily read & reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts & opinions are my own.
Wow! Siobhan has literally blown me away with this book. This is one book that I’ve been waiting for. Reforming Kent is an emotional, somewhat heartbreaking book to read as it sheds so much light on the inner workings of Kent and what led him down the path to where he is now, and with him ultimately feeling like no one in his family cares enough to really take a deeper look beyond the bad boy persona he displays Until he meets Presley, she is an artist and part-time bartender who catches Kent’s eye one night. No stranger to struggle and heartache, and the man with baggage, she certainly isn’t looking for more. Kent does see something in her though that maybe makes him consider reforming some of his behaviour and possibly opening up his heart.
This series has been utterly amazing from start to finish and has only gotten better with time. This is Siobhan at her best. You will not be disappointed. You might need a box of tissues, but you will not be disappointed. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book
Wow!!!
What a fantastic way to wrap up an amazing series.
This book alone proves why this author will always be one of my favourites. She certainly doesn’t shy away from the tough subjects that’s for sure.
This book may be a rough read for some but I applaud the author for handling a taboo subject with the respect and dignity deserved.
No one should hide or struggle alone.
If anything is to be taken from this book, it’s to make sure those around you know they have a safe space to reach out to, and that speaking out may save lives.
With wonderful characters and a plot that will send you on a rollercoaster of emotions, I throughly reccomend this thought provoking book.
I’m going to leave the review right here, as so much happens within these pages, it’s something that needs to be experienced first hand.
God how does Siobhan do it?! I disliked Kent immensely after Keaton’s book & I was never a huge fan of him in past books but now his story was probably in the top 3 favourites for me in this series.
Watching Kent fall in love with Presley was in a word magical. I loved how hard Presley made him hustle. & surprisingly Kent hustled hard. After finally learning his story I was so happy she left him for last. He will reach him into your chest & squeeze your heart. I don’t know how anyone won’t fall in love with him.
Presley’s backstory was tragic & only seemed to get darker the more we learned about her. But the love & compassion she had for Kent was overflowing. I think what I loved most about her was how she stood by Kent & helped hold him up when it came to his family.
The love these two shared felt like it was wafting off the pages. I was sucked into the story right from the beginning & I honestly thought that would be hard to do with his story. Side note, Whitney has now taken over as my most disliked character in this series.
I decided to start this book by sneaking a chapter in at work & all of a sudden I was 48% done & it was lunchtime & I had accomplished absolutely nothing at work. Needless to say this was the perfect ending to this series. I’m going to miss these Kennedy boys & their woman. I will definitely not say no to seeing the next generation get their happily ever afters!
I received an arc of this book in return for an honest review.
Holy H Bells…
This story was such a rollercoaster…I was up, I was down, I was sideways, I sometimes didn’t even know if I was coming or going…it was awesome! I will admit I was not excited for Kent’s story…he was a self centered jerk face who was not very nice but….Siobhan being Siobhan, she made me fall in love with him!!!!!! How dare she right? That is what I was saying…but he is worth it! Him and Presley are disgustingly cute and prefect for each other…if they can work thru their drama. I loved every bit of turmoil that this story took me thru!

I don’t even know where to start with Reforming Kent! I think Siobhan has saved the best till last!! What a way to end a fantastic series!! I have loved all of the Kennedy boys stories but Kent’s has blown me away! I have never been so emotional reading a book! If you, like me have read the previous books in this series, you will know Kent as the bad boy of the family who is obnoxious, care free and a bit of a manwhore! In Reforming Kent we get to the bottom of his behaviour and all I’m gonna say is his story broke my heart, my opinion on him flipped 360 and a lot of stuff suddenly made sense. This book was so angsty & gave me all the feels! Be warned you will need tissues at the ready!! 5 stars just isn’t enough for this book
Let’s face it: every time I read one of her books Im oblivious to my surroundings! I can’t help it. Siobhan’s writing is gripping me, and sucks me deep into the book. And after Keaton’s book I was definitely waiting for Kent!
And what a book this was! And absolutely emotional masterpiece as I found myself silently crying, weeping and hurting. This book definitely ends this series with a bang. The author delivered on point, and after finishing it a couple hours ago I’m still speechless and hung up. This book hit me deep in all my departments.
I’m definitely sad to see them go, but I can also say this is one of the best series I’ve ever read! Thank you so much Siobhan for great entertaining, and creating such a wonderful tight knit family – who are also allowed to have their flaws like we do!!

This book was surprise after surprise.
Yes I did anticipate some things but it still blew my mind. Siobhan rips your heart out with Kent Kennedy. Be prepared for anything and everything.
**Also take the trigger warning seriously**
