Presley
Since I aged out of the foster system, I’ve worked hard for my dream future, and it’s so close. Too close to let some arrogant rich playboy distract me.
I’ve heard all about Kent Kennedy, and with my history of troubled bad boys, I need his attention like a hole in the head. Except he’s nothing I expected and everything I never dared to dream of. As I slowly uncover the truth, I discover a broken man with a big heart who desperately needs someone to see him.
I want to be that person, but his demons loom large, and I don’t know if I’m strong enough to do this again.
When the past rears its ugly head, shattering everything, will there be anything left of my heart to protect?
This book contains some dark and sensitive themes. Some scenes may be triggering. Please refer to the note at the start of the book.

What an ending to a great series! We finally got Kent’s book. He met Presley and she sure was a match for him. Their journey was was an eventful one, but we got the HEA 🙂 I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
OMG Could not put this book down. While many may have guessed what was behind Kent’s behaviour no one will guess the who. So many twists and turns you won’t see coming. This is Siobhan at her finest as she delves into the darkest of humanity. This series finale will leave you breathless. Thank you Siobhan for the honour of this arc.
Kent has been the quintessential broken bad boy throughout this series, and this book was so worth the wait! The bits and pieces you’ve come to love/hate about him come to an awe inspired conclusion in this swoon worthy masterpiece! When Presley appeared in the final scene of Adoring Keaton I knew she was going to be a sexy and beautiful force in their story, but nothing could prepare you for the mind blowing climax. This is another fabulous book in the beloved Kennedy Boys saga, and it’s a stunning conclusion. Siobhan Davis delivered yet another book that will keep you up turning pages because you just can’t put it down! Love this whole series and this author! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Reforming Kent is sadly, the last book in the Kennedy Series by Siobhan Davis and she makes sure the series goes out with a bang! Kent’s story is the one that I have been most anticipating. Many of the Kennedy boys had a reputation as a bad boy, but Kent took this to levels beyond any of his brothers. He was the sharpest thorn in his parent’s side, frequently mean spirited and cruel, and made no excuses or apologizes for it. This story finally peels back all of Kent’s layers and we find out what goes through his mind, his feelings towards his family, and what he cares about.
Throughout the series I have cringed at what he has done and thought his actions were often despicable. In a previous book he treated his own triplet beyond horrible. In his past there were small hints of humanity from him but it was short lived.
The woman it would take to get to and through Kent Kennedy would need strength, guts, a thick skin, loyalty, compassion, and acceptance. In comes Presley, his outer layer doesn’t intimidate her; she has her own compelling history and pushes back on anything Kent dishes out. Her background and the chemistry they share are mesmerizing!
I laughed, cried, and cringed, my emotions were on a roller coaster ride. There are things I somewhat anticipated, but the imagination and exceptional storytelling Siobhan unleashed took me to places I couldn’t fathom. I didn’t want to put the book down, yet I did, to process my emotions, shock and even horror with what transpired; to grab a tissue; let myself decompress. I needed to look up some Elvis information; and maybe slow the finish of a book and series I didn’t want to end.
The complex charter that is Kent Kennedy is exposed as he comes to terms with his life, past and present. There are confrontations I wanted to see, and some I was blown away by. I ended up rooting for Kent. His individual relationships with each of his family and close friends are discussed and explored This whole series is an explosive journey, Siobhan Davis’ last book of the series is truly an exceptional finale to the fireworks display that is the Kennedys.
This is a book you can read as a standalone, but to really understand the family history and Kent’s dynamic I recommend starting the series from the beginning. Kent’s character is so intricate it takes a whole series to bring every aspect together.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. I would always give my true review and I would gladly purchase this particular book to support the author.
What a book! I thought I loved Kyler Kennedy the most, but my heart now belongs to Kent! LOL
This was an amazing story told with so much class and taste- tough subjects were approached with love and care and I can’t thank Siobhan Davis enough for writing this into Kent’s story.
If you love a good bad boy gets tamed story, then this book is for you! It can be read as a stand alone but I highly suggest you read the whole series, it is well worth the time and money!
I am so sad this series is over, but maybe there hope for the next generation of Kennedys!
Thank you Siobhan Davis for taking us on this journey, it has been a great one! Much love to you!
This feels like the end of an era! This is the final installment of the Kennedy Clan with the 10th book all about Kent.
I honestly had no idea how I was going to start loving Kent but…. yup…. this book did it for sure.
Kent has turned to women, drugs, partying, alcohol as an outlet for his problems in life. I don’t want to say too much about this because it will ruin the story for you. All I will say is that Revelations are made and the fall out is heartbreaking. I cried for Kent and his family. These people have gone through so much together.
Our heroine, Presley, is a strong and independent woman who gives Kent a run for his money. This intrigued him and he goes after her full force. I loved watching him truly chase and fall for a woman. Watching these two deal with all the things thrown at them and still falling so deeply in love was beautiful. They were each others rock.
I highly recommend reading the other books just to see Kent in his early years of not for the fact that the whole series is amazing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Happy Reading!!!
FEELINGS. I’m overcome by them- stunned and raw. Siobhan has saved the most challenging, most harrowing, most complicated Kennedy story for last- this one may have hurt the most, but it is also the most rewarding. The hardest to like Kennedy is somehow the easiest to love.
These Kennedy men and their loves have been THROUGH IT. But no one, perhaps, as much as Kent. His story is unexpected, emotional, riveting, and haunting. This book will rock you- unsettle you, but it will also move you. Because for nine books we’ve blindly watched this character self-destruct, watch him unravel and destroy relationships and cause others pain. While every other Kennedy has found security and stability- found PEACE and contentment- Kent has been standing in the dark, drowning in pain and secrets. Everything we knew about him is wrong- the facade of the womanizing jerk, the partying antagonizer, the hateful and hurtful anti-hero is shattered by this story. And in doing so, Siobhan shatters a piece of us, too.
Kent and Presley are the embodiment of the redemptive and rehabilitative power of unconditional and compassionate love. How love can save and heal. Kent is an undisputed asshole- he knows it, we know it, his family knows it. Heck, even Presley knows it. But Presley awakens something in him- gives him a light, some hope, some freedom. In wooing her, we see the real Kent, as he lets her in, he lets us in too. And this is not a Kent we know- a sweet and vulnerable man with so much heart, a man more fragile than we could ever realize. He’s charming and considerate- the type of man who writes meaningful love notes and sends flowers. A man so easy to love you wonder how no one could see this version of him. And Presley? She’s just as magical- I loved her instantly. This woman, too, has been through it. She’s resilient, compassionate, and SO very loving. But she, too, is fragile…she too has masked pain. Both of these characters are so tragically lonely- surrounded by loving people but somehow entirely alone. Everyone around them has somehow failed them. Until each other- until the love jars them so thoroughly that it gives them hope. Peace. Light. The true connection that both have them have been robbed of their entire lives. And for Kent, oh that hurt my heart- because this amazing family, this beautiful group of men and women I adore, have missed seeing him entirely. And I did, too. Both of these characters are so brave, so beautifully broken, so sweet and courageous. My heart swells with love for them.
What perhaps is the most captivating about Siobhan’s narrative approach is how she contrasts Presley and Kent’s romance with their inner turmoil. There is a beautiful juxtaposition of the sweet and light with the dark and disturbing. The love story here? It is easy- perhaps the easiest we’ve read in the Kennedy series. These two fall fast and quickly for each other- authentically slipping into an easy familiarity, a connection sweet, and pure, and blissfully grounded and mature. There is such a marked lightness, a simplicity to their coupling. Of course, that doesn’t change their baggage- Presley is scared of getting hurt by the notorious playboy, and she has her own past pains. And Kent, oh, sweet Kent just doesn’t want to mess this up- he wants to be WORTHY. But their connection is so electric, so intimate and TENDER- they can’t help but be consumed by it regardless of their fears and turmoil. They jump in so vulnerably, but so naturally. For the first time ever they can just BE. This is chemistry somehow intense and gentle, fierce and soft- they make each other feel it all. And we feel it, too. Siobhan give us that peace, that achingly beautiful sweetness, and then she shrouds us in truths that hurt, painful realities and experiences. The dark “Give me your truths, Kent. Even if those truths hurt. At least it will be real.” And Siobhan gets real- unflinchingly so- she gives us the truths. And they are not easy- they are raw. They hurt. And what was a sweet and innocent love now becomes dangerous to them both- because they unexpectedly find aspects of each other’s lives triggering. Pushing them to do something neither has been able to do before- confronting their pain. And only their love can make it safe to do that- give them the courage.
But Siobhan also shows us that the love of another is not enough on its own- not if you don’t love yourself. Both characters are drowning in aspects of themselves. Alone in the violent waters that have engulfed them. Their connection is so powerful, so catalyzing that it pulls their heads out of the water. Their love inspires survival, is the proverbial life vest in the water- but even so, when you’re drowning you have to be the one to grab the vest. You have to want to be saved, to be willing to save yourself. If not, you still drown. And sometimes you have to break completely before love can glue you back together- before you’re ready to reach for survival. THIS. OH THIS. This is what makes Kent and Presley’s story so impactful- the parallel journey of two people sweetly and easily falling in love right alongside the turbulent, painful, and challenging journey of those same two people desperately battling to save themselves, fighting to be brave enough to work on their own stuff so that their hearts can fully belong to each other. Being whole with someone else means also being whole with yourself. Siobhan is giving us a story about one of the most courageous and bravest acts we can take as humans- facing ourselves. It isn’t just surviving life’s tribulations that make us brave, although certainly that alone is magnificent. But for Kent and Presley the greatest act of bravery is doing the self-work it takes to thrive despite their adversity. To heal. That is what makes them “truly brave.”
That journey is the reward. Kent and Presley have a love so epic that it rebuilds them, but it also reshapes them. This isn’t just about the two of them putting each other back together- this is about both of them inspiring each other to change how the pieces are assembled. The phoenix rising from the ashes. Being reborn. REFORMED. And you can’t help but feel a little be reformed yourself for having walked this journey with them.
I can not believe it is time to say goodbye to this menagerie of amazing characters. This dramatic, over the top, intrusive and angsty family that I am so addicted to. But I can’t help but marvel at how Siobhan has let this story come full circle. Back to its roots. This whole series hasn’t really been about the drama, that soap operative existence of the Kennedy’s- because the drama doesn’t matter. It doesn’t define them. What does is how this family grows, evolves, and comes together to survive and thrive despite it. How they figure out how to love each other, and themselves, just right. And in this world, love isn’t always timely, or easy, or neat or normal, but it is restorative, it is liberating. And, most importantly, it is brave. Thank you, Siobhan, for their magic.
PS- this didn’t fit anywhere else in this review, but I can’t not say that the triplets have now completely stolen this series for me! And this story, this is all of theirs. I adore them.
Get the tissues ready for the final book of the Kennedy Boys series. This book is so much more than I was expecting, well worth the 5 stars review. Follow Kent and Presley is thier whirlwind tear jerker romance. You won’t be disappointed. This book is by far my favourite book out of the series I am just sad it is the end. I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
Reforming Kent is the final Kennedy boys story to true love. Kent has always been considered the family’s “black sheep.” Throughout the years, the family felt that Kent’s reactions to all the crises occurring to them was a little over the top. Kent was the ultimate party boy with the bad attitude to go with it. He lashed out at everyone especially those he loved. He would have continued down this path of destruction if he hadn’t met a bartender who saw the hurting man beneath the mask. Presley has her own hidden hurts from her past but has a plan to rise above it. She won’t let a man, especially the Kennedy’s black sheep derail her dreams. As they each face the demons from their past, they will need to learn to trust others with their deepest secrets in order to survive. As the final conclusion of the Kennedy family’s stories, the epilogue provides a satisfying conclusion to each boys path to true love.
I’m speechless…like my head is spinning…my heart…oh be still my heart. I know I keep saying this but Siobhan Davis is the Queen, she is freaking amazing. I don’t know how she makes every single book better than the last because I’m an avid reader of her all her books…I have devoured them one by one…and fell in love with her writing straight away. And I’m not alone many have fallen under her spell. Okay I’ve gushed enough now let’s talk about the book at hand. I received an advanced copy and have volunteered to review because I would read any book by Siobhan, even without knowing anything about it because trust her writing like I’ve never trusted any other. She writes with her heart and it shows. Her characters dive off the page and into your heart like none other. But Reforming Kent is on a whole other level even for her!!! Seriously now let’s talk about the book I’m reviewing lol.
I’ve had a soft spot for Kent from the very first moment he opened his mouth. Now, I know why. I didn’t think anyone could win my heart over more than Kaiden from Rydeville Elite Series (another amazing read by the Queen herself) but OMG Kent is my new favorite hothole!!! He is everything and I do mean everything. He took my heart and shredded it…then, in the most beautifully perfect way possible he mended it without any cracks or even scratches left to be healed. I’m not sure how I will rebound from this amazing heartbreakingly beautiful story. I cried like my life depended on how this would play out. I feel invested in these Kennedy’s in a way I’ve never felt with any other books I’ve read. Saying goodbye to them…it’s so bittersweet.
I can’t go without speaking about the woman that has this heartthrob hothole by is man parts lol. Presley is everything Kent needs and has always needed. She’s the only girl who he has wanted to get to know on a personal level. The only babe who he, Kent Kennedy, wants to take out on a date!!! It’s earth shattering to the females that drool over him daily, only problem is…she will not give him the time of day! In Kent’s world that means game on, Presley Baby!
First off I must say there are MASSIVE trigger warnings in this. I won’t say what for as it spoils major reveals…..just.know the payoff is massive!!!!
As far as I know, this is the final book in this beloved series. FINALLY we get to see just what makes Kent tick. Can some lucky person actually claim his heart? We also find out the root cause for all these years of him wilding out. Many parts will crack your heart in two, but my goodness does.it prove Kent and the person he may come to love are warriors! You don’t necessarily need to have read all the books in this series first, but it will definitely help you understand the many characters and relationships within. If you don’t want to read them all, then please read the book immediately before this one, about Keaton as themes overlap between the two due to these two of the triplets estrangement which happened in ADORING KEATON.
I’m glad the author saved Kent for last as all throughout this series he was so seemingly different from all his other brothers. The payoff is huge, and I just loved this book. Expect to shed a few tears, shake your fists and yell in your mind at a character or two, but my word is this an epic read!!! Bravo!!! Gotta say, I’m curious if Whitney might get a book or novella. I hope we will see these wonderful Kennedy’s again in some way….whether as visiting characters in other series, or a possible spinoff. Excellent read!!
This is book 10 in the Kennedy Boys series and I believe the best was saved for last. Kent Kennedy has been to hell and it took Presley to bring him back to earth and take him to heaven. She is the angel who will save him.
As you read the other books in this series you get a glimpse of Kent and you think he is just a playboy, sewing his wild oats but there is more to him than you will believe. His past and pain will break your heart.
Presley was put in foster care after the accident took both of her parents. She made the most of it and now is working to make her dreams come true. She wants to own her own tattoo shop and draw her own tattoo designs. But when Kent Kennedy shows up at the bar Presley works at, she only sees the wealthy playboy and the pack of girls salivating and wanting to get at him.
Will Presley give Kent a chance to change her mind about him? Will the truth about Kent’s past come out? What will happen when his past collides with his present? Will Kent repair his rift with his brother Keaton?
Author Siobhan Davis has outdone herself with Kent and Presley’s story. I have cried for Kent’s past and laughed with him and Presley. Their love with Elvis songs is even better. This story is an emotional roller coaster ride that will have you wanting more and in the end, leave you feeling satisfied. I highly recommend you read this series and I hope you love it too.
**I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.**
She knows exactly who he is, his reputation precedes him after all. He’s a bad boy, troublemaker, and he’s drunk. No matter how much money he flashes, Presley refuses to serve him anymore alcohol, and has the bars bouncer escort him out the door. Kent thinks she’s beautiful, at first he just wants her for his usual one and done, but as he gets to know her, he realizes that he could fall for Presley. They both have to come to terms with the losses that haunt them, and that molded them into the people that they are today.
Wow, I adored Presley and Kent, they are realistic and brilliantly written. I think they are authentic in the reactions, and interactions with each other, and the other people in their lives. Tragic events from the past will be difficult for them to overcome in order for them to have a happily ever after. I couldn’t put this book down. Complex plot with many surprising, and unexpected twists and turns it just might leave you reeling. Fantastic book!

Reforming Kent is one of the most gutwrenchingly beautiful books I have ever read. The story is tragic yet hopeful. The plot tears your heart apart with the emotions that are explored and puts it back together. Kent and Presley are complicated, wounded, tragic, yet generous, lively and amazing.
What I think got me the most is how Siobhan Davis’ words showed that even experiencing horrible things you can recover. It may be a fight but you are so worth it. It makes me teary-eyed to think about it.
The net is Siobhan Davis came to the plate swinging and rocked this subject matter to the moon and back again. Read. This. Book.
Siobhan Davis knows how to wrap us up in an angsty, passionate tale. Kent Kennedy has been broken for so long he seems almost beyond repair, but unable to put this book down Siobhan gave us a redemption story that is emotional and made my heart burst with love.
This is the final Kennedy book–unless Siobhan grants us with the next generation, pretty please–and she did not disappoint with saving the best for last. There is something so satisfying with a glorious redemption story. The fabled phoenix rising from the ashes. Kent surpases all expectations for being redemed.
For multiple books we were given a sense that there was more to Kent than just his bad boy persona. There was something underlying that caused a deep pitted trama, but due to Siobhan’s brilliance in her writing, she only gave us hints and kept up his awful behavior. Kent wasn’t ready to rise from the ashes, yet.
Enter Presley and for the first time in Kent Kennedy’s life those demon’s that have whispered in his ears for years were quiet. Presley is the flame to burn down those walls that even gives his phoenix a chance to rise. We get to see a side of Kent that we didn’t even know existed. Without giving too much away – for the Kennedy we assumed always had the most experience, he’s very much a virgin in the ways of wooing a woman. Kent is going to pull at your heartstrings and touch your soul unlike any of his brothers.
Presley is also going to wrap around your heart. She is strong, but sensitive in the very best ways. She is the perfect match for Kent, not taking his BS, but also finding her way through the arrogant man that he presents to the outside world to find the sensitive man he actually is underneath. She’s had a hard life, but she hasn’t let it break her, instead her strength is exactly what Kent needs to help him find his way out of the darkness he constantly lives in.
Out of the Kennedy brothers, Siobhan has written so many glorious couples, but I think Kent and Presley are one of the strongest and one of my favorite couples in the entire series.
Oh my gosh what a way to end The Kennedy Boys series…we have read all about Kent Kennedy throughout this series and know that he is a bad boy, always acting out, drinking, drugs, partying, having sex with lots of girls, threesomes, foursomes, fighting with his family, and just seems to always be into some kind of trouble. In this the final book of the series we learn just what makes Kent Kennedy act the way he does.
Presley is a beautiful soul that was raised in the foster care system after losing her parents at age 9. She is a wonderful artist and strives to one day own her own tattoo shop. When Kent starts frequenting the bar she works he is drawn to her but she knows what a player he is and is bound and determined to not fall for the bad boys charms. Eventually he wears her down and we learn that even though Kent is the way he is he is also a romantic at heart. It is so great to see Kent fall in love and Presley is his soul mate. I love to see how his brothers mess with him about it the way he did them.
When Kent’s tragic past comes to light the Kennedy family rally around them…this family may have not always gotten along but they always come together and stand by the one hurting and are determined to get them through it.
Will Kent and Presley’s love survive the nightmares that come to light? You have got to read this one….What an awesome story. I really hate to see The Kennedy Boys series come to an end.

Just when I thought Siobhan Davis’s next book couldn’t get any better than the previous one, she goes and writes Reforming Kent (the last book in The Kennedy Boys series), and I was left in awe. Ms. Davis has the ability to let her readers experience the gut-wrenching journey of her characters right along with them.
Gripping from the start, Reforming Kent is well written with a captivating storyline and packed with angst, secrets, heartbreak, drama, off-the-charts chemistry, past traumas, redemption, pain, love, and a happily ever after.
I volunteered to review an advance reader copy of this book.
Soooo many feels. Man I absolutely cannot believe that this series is over!! I’ve been waiting for Kent’s story for soo long! I mean how could you now be waiting to see why Kent is the way he is! This book didn’t not disappoint! Read it! Read it now!!!
This is one of the more emotional Siobhan reads for me. For so many reasons, it just yanked my bloody heart straight out of my chest. I thought the silly thing may stop beating a few times from the abuse. Pres and Kent have been through so much. When their damage really starts to show, it is a visceral thing that just guts you. If anyone ever needed a HEA, it’s these two.
