Reed is a very unorthodox PI. He does thing his own way, and sometimes pays for that. He is becoming a pretty good investigator though. These stories are thrilling, suspenseful and a little scary. But in the end Reed always gets his man. Great mysteries, that I really enjoy reading.
This was easy to read and entertaining. Characters are witty and fun.
Light easy reads. Interesting, fun characters. Smooth story telling of a new off-beat private investigator … his trials and tribulations.
So far love this series, really relaxing and entertaining thoroughly enjoyable!…Of course I had to go and watch a slew of Bogie movies while reading this series..who could resist…
I have read the first two books in this series and have found them quite entertaining. The stories move along without a lot of extraneous distractions. I am looking forward to reading more.
Written in the hard boiled detective style!
Easy read. Not too deep but fun to read his escapade sin detective work.
old fashioned, very entertaining.
Sorry to say it was to clichéd from the start and I couldn’t get into the book.
Light reading. Very little character development and lots of cartoon like characters
Easy book to read. Like the character he is very down to earth.
These stories are inventive and fun. A great read.
Really like the Reed Ferguson series. Written in such a witty manner.
Cal and the Goofball brothers add so much to the story. Always glad when they ate offered.
Love this series. Light and entertaining mysteries.
Renee Pawlish knows how to appeal to both male & female readers. Her Reed Ferguson series builds on the characters though books can be read individually. If you like mystery, intrigue, humor, and a consistently good read, start with the 1st book. I’m on my 17th.
17 books in the series I enjoyed them all. Each book is independent of the others but the same characters appear in all the books. As you read each book The author gives you a short history of who the character is and how the fit in the story. Start with book one and read your way to 17. You will enjoy them all.
