Wow wow wow what a book Nitro Crew Series RedLight Book 3 is the story of Jay, I’ve been waiting patiently for his book after his playboy ways I couldn’t wait to see how Jay’s story would unfold. Winter Travers knows how to get our hearts going with laughter, sorrow, passion, family and love this book delivers. I read this book in an evening as I couldn’t put it down once I started it. Delaney and Jay are perfect together. 5 Well earned STARS
This is the third installment of the series and if you haven’t been keeping up binge read!! Redlight is a fantastic addition of Jay and Delaney’s story. The story is emotionally charged with some laugh out loud moments and tears moments later. Jay grows into a man in this book, gone is the party guy from the previous 2 books. Jay and Delaney balance each other perfectly. I highly, highly recommend this book!!
This is the third book in this phenomenal series, and is Jay and Delaney’s story. Jay certainly redeems himself in this story, and when Delaney drops a big surprise on him, he mans up and steps up to the plate. No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a beautifully written story, which is emotional, tragic, humorous, and a roller coaster journey from beginning to end. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and cannot wait to read the next book from this talented author, whose work I highly recommend for all.
I love this series so much and have been waiting for Jay’s story. Del and Jay are one of my favorite couples and their story was sweet and beautiful but also very emotional. The characters were well developed, and writing was wonderful. I read the book in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down once I started it. Can’t wait for Roc’s book.
Jay and Delaney’s story was a great one. This book had me reading till early in the am to finish.
Delaney is a smart girl making something of herself. Determined to be a Doctor even when she becomes unexpectedly pregnant.
Jay has the wind knocked out of him when Delaney tells him the news. He is determined to be apart of her life and his childs.
These two have a quick world win romance that ends in heartache. Will they be able find a way to be together?
I look forward to reading more in this series.
This book is exceptional! I liked Remy’s and Frankie’s stories, but Jay is way more emotional, sweet and hot. I was expecting a good book, as with everything written by this author, but I was totally blown away with it. The sweetness, the sexiness, the heartbreak… I laughed, I cried, I sighed, I fanned myself. The best was saved for last, which I’m not sure it’s the last, and I can’t imagine how it will be topped but I know that I’m dying to find out.
I absolutely loved this latest book in the Nitro Crew series. This is the story of Jay and Delaney. Jay has the best life…he has a job he loves, an endless array of girls at his beck and call. He is enjoying life and doesn’t want his life to change for anything. That changes when he is confronted by a girl named Delaney who tells him something that will forever change his world. Delaney can’t believe it…she is pregnant after a one night stand with a man she never thought she would see again. Even though it wasn’t planned…she is going to make the best of the situation and that includes letting the father know. This is the wake up call that Jay needed. He was going to be the very best dad ever and take care of Delaney in any way he can. The connection they share can’t be denied and feelings start to develop between the two. Their story isn’t pretty…there are ups and downs and twists no one could of predicted. Jay is here to prove to Delaney that he isn’t going anywhere and that he is with her for the long haul. I loved their story so much….I laughed, cried, swooned, and fanned myself during the hot sexy times. I loved this book so much and I highly recommend it to all. I can’t wait to see what this talented author comes out with next…well done!!!
OMGOODNESS!! This book sucked me in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down! I loved everything about it. Jay really won me over by being the man no one thought he would be. The way he treats Delaney will melt your heart. I absolutely loved it!!

Redlight was the third book in the Nitro Crew series by Winter Travers.
Jay Perez was a member of a successful Pit Crew on the NHRA racing circuit. Cars and racing were his life. He was also a total playboy – one and done with pretty much anyone and everyone he came in contact. Based on previous books, I didn’t see how Jay could be a likable hero. However, once he found out he was going to be a daddy, the turn around was immediate and drastic but also genuine and I totally fell in love.
Delaney was a med student who was working on her clinicals. She was gorgeous, smart, quick witted and sassy. She didn’t have time for relationships but she deviated from her norm for a night of fun which resulted in an unexpected surprise. A baby wasn’t in her immediate plans but she embraced it and thus the story began.
I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline. It was a mixture of sweet, sexy, fun and emotional. Travers began Redlight exactly where the previous book left off so we got one big teaser on what to expect. She then took us through the relationship progression and threw in a few unexpected twists. If it weren’t for the numerous editing errors, I would have rated it a five star – that’s how much I liked it.
All in all, it was a fast paced, fun, emotional and enjoyable read. It was my favorite in the series so far. Roc is up next in Shutdown and I can’t wait.
Kinda short. Ended abruptly. But I liked the pair. They were good together.
** spoiler alert ** Jay has been living his life in the fast lane. Delaney has always been on the straightened arrow. One night changed everything. Will Delaney learn to open up to someone else? Will Jay find what he didn’t know he was searching for?
I was so excited to see Jay’s book and was not disappointed. I loved how there was a lot more to Jay then what everyone thought and I love how when he fell, he fell hard. I didn’t blame Delaney for her reactions, but loved when she stepped outside her box and allowed herself to give in to her feelings. Great read and cannot wait for the next Winter Traver’s book!
This … I … WOW.
Jay & Delaney’s story starts with a bang & is quite the roller coaster! I wasn’t expecting the depth of emotion, since the first two in this series are rather light. This one made me cry! There’s humor & sweetness, too, no worries! And I LOVED the story, even if I didn’t love the reason it made me cry.
I highly recommend this series, and definitely read it in order. These characters are so well written and fabulous! And I was happy to see there’s a 4th book in the works & who the next couple is going to be!! : )
Wow. Jay’s story was the best book out of the series. I was so sure I would not like him, based on how he acted (you need to read them to find out what I’m talking about). I simply Love Love Delaney. She is so perfect for Jay.
Winter definitely writes a great story and keeps you turning those pages.
She also knows how to write words that make you laugh, cry and scream at your kindle or book, what ever you are reading on. She definitely keeps you guessing as what’s going to happen next and leaves you happily hanging with a ending that isn’t really a ending! She intertwines the previous characters while introducing new ones so flawlessly.
Redlight is worth stopping what ever you are doing and starting to read without stopping until you read the last word. Jay and Delaney are perfect for each other and reading their story was fantastic. This book came at the right time for me and it’s written so well, it was the only one that kept me focused and helped me get through my recovery. So I want to thank you Winter Travers for writing Jay and Delaney’s story at the right time for me. Their love story was so perfect and I loved every single page. I highly recommend Redlight, I would suggest if you haven’t already reading the previous books in the series, it will make it more enjoyable, you don’t need to read them, but it’s recommended so you can follow along with what’s going on. Again Redlight is a fantastic 5 star read. Thank you so much Winter Travers for pulling me in and keeping me in a great place while I recovered! Love Jay and Delaney’s story. Now go get this book and stop reading my review, Winters words are much better!!!
Delaney knew she had to tell Jay he was going to be her baby’s father, he’s reaction wasn’t exactly what she was expecting though.
Jay didn’t remember the girl that said he was going to be a father, but he knew they needed to talk, she reads his mind offering a paternity test, but assure him that he’s the dad, he’s the only person she’s been with. All he knew was that in two days he’s life was going to change.
Delaney knew it was going to be hard with the baby and med school, he was the hottest guy she’d ever seen, but hoped he turned out to be a good father to her baby, she knew he was a player.
Jay’s friend’s said he was changing, but it was and he didn’t know how to deal with anything, all he knew was the partying all of sudden didn’t seem as fun as it used to, and Delaney wasn’t like any chick he had been with before, being indifferent to him. Jay was determined when she agree with him coming over for pizza that he was going to get to know her more.
Jay knows that Delaney is everything he’s ever wanted, he knows the baby was a surprise, but he knows he wants their baby, he wants Delaney, but can he convince her that he’s not the playboy she once knew, and he wants everything with her.
4.5 Stars of awesomesauce!
I am going to go into this by saying that I already had a preconceived notion about Jay’s story. I have found him to be a bit of a prat through the other books so I wasn’t expecting much. But I forgot that this was a Winter Travers book and she has a way of writing that makes me end up liking characters that I really didn’t to begin with … and she did that with Jay.
He ended up being someone that I really enjoyed reading about and following his journey was really awesome! He definitely grew up and quickly and actually started to remind me of Kurt (his brother in law from the Skid Row Kings series) a bit. He became someone that I really started to like and cheer for and also someone that I sympathized with.
Delaney was also an awesome character and I so totally see why Winter’s imagination came up with her as the match for Jay. She gives as good as she gets and she totally calls him out when needed. But she has a vulnerability and that makes a very big impact within this story. There is a point that happens that really had me crying hard.
Overall, great book! The characters really surprised me with how much I liked them. I really enjoyed how the story progressed and I loved seeing some of the past characters that I have enjoyed make appearances in this book. So, two thumbs up from me and happy reading!
Definitely a favourite of mine.
Winter Travers amazes me with all her stories. One of the things I love about her books are that she always writes strong sassy women who definitely can stand up for themselves, but who also has a vunerable side to them.
I loved Delaney, she was a take no prisoners type of girl. She found out she was having a baby and right away she started planning and putting her life in order. When she told Jay that she was having his baby and he fainted, lmao, she dealt with it and moved on.
But Jay knew it was time to grow up and he did. He started spending time with the women that he can’t even remember sleeping with the first time. But the more time he spent with her the more he didn’t understand how he can live his life without this women.
This book was about Jay and Delaney getting to know each other. Two people spending time together and learning what makes the other one tick. But also Jay learning that Delaney is an independent women and she can take care of herself. Delaney had to learn that independence is good but sometimes you need to lean on the people closest to you to help you get through the difficult times.
Loved this book and I can’t wait for the next one in this series. There was lots of love, laughter, crying and crazy moments that you just can’t help falling in love with this crew.
Holy Hell Sweet Baby Jesus is what I was thinking when I was reading this book. Boy oh boy did I love how kick arse Delaney was. She did not take any shiz from anyone and she let Jay know what the deal was right from the jump. Jay oh lord have mercy Jay he is a hot mess. He does what he wants when he wants and how he wants with who he wants until Delaney tells him the words no single playboy man wants to hear and that is I AM PREGNANT! bahahahahaha I laughed so effing hard at his reaction that I damn near peed myself.
Jay knows he has to change his ways and settle down now that he has a baby on the way. He knows how he feels for Delaney but when he tells her will she believe him? He knows what he wants now and he is not going to be stopped by anyone or anything. Yes his racing days will still be there but he will have something more much more when he gets out of that car waiting for him.
We are really enjoying this author’s stories and I have to say we really enjoyed her Nitro Crew Series. The series itself was pure enjoyment and brought us tons of laughs.
One thing we are loving about this series is its character’s and I have to say that we have never really read any sport romance reads before so this was a refreshing change we really enjoyed.
I loved both of the main character’s Delaney and Jay.I loved seeing the playboy fall.Jay was such a player throughout all the other stories we new when his time was up it would be epic and boy did he get his just deserts lol.
Delaney she was just a sweetheart and sweet ,kind, smart beautiful and loving and anyone meeting her for the first time could not help but love her.
Jay I loved him as he was a playboy, slacker, fun, and had this cocky personality and sexy as sin but, we really saw a different side to him this time around where he took things to heart and took his new responsibilities seriously.I loved the new Jay as well as the old one as long as I wasn’t a notch on his bed post lol.
The romance between both Delaney and Jay was sweet and affectionate and the chemistry was definitely there. One thing about the men is this series and Jay himself is when the men fall they fall hard and quick. The man take what the want and claim their women quickly.”My kind of guy.”
I really enjoy the plot and the story as well as all the amazing character’s like Meg,Frankie,Harlyn these character’s make you laugh out loud the entire story. The story made us laugh and be sad had some drama and a few surprises to keep us engrossed and turning the pages from beginning to end.”We loved it!”
Winter Travers always brings me home again with her characters and I have such a soft spot for Jay and Delaney. From the first time he called her babe and she lost her mind, I knew this book was going to be so good. I couldn’t imagine being in her shoes when they met up again, but afterward I wanted to be her. Even through the fun, heartache and trouble there was nothing but love right under their nose. If only someone wasn’t so stubborn. This story made me laugh, tear up, and get all excited because I wanted Jay to cuddle me and love me like that. He is swoon worthy and the perfect match for Del. They bring out the best in each other and push the walls down that needed to be broken. Winter Travers this book may have started with a red light but it was nothing but green for me from the word go! Don’t stop on read, read this book.

I love how the kids that we saw in other series’ have come together for their HEA in this one. Jay, Leelee’s brother from the Skid Row Kings series, is given the shock of his life when a hot chick tells him that he is the father of her unborn baby. Jay’s man whore ways have caught up to him, and it doesn’t seem to bother him a bit, now that he is used to the idea. Jay is more bothered that he can’t remember the night that he and Delaney spent together. Can he and Delaney make the best of this situation and actually have a grown up relationship? or is that out of Jay’s league?
WOW, I actually don’t have the right words for this story. Without giving away spoilers, all I can say is that I have ALL the feels right now. Winter wrote about a subject that…. I can’t even put into words how well she did. So, I’m going to cut this short and just say this gets 5 stars.

Jay Perez has always been the playboy on the team; he sees his team and he sees the parties and women that come along with it. Of course though, living life like that sometimes comes back to bite you in the butt and one of Jay’s conquests, Delaney, turns up pregnant. As if that wasn’t “bad” enough, he doesn’t even remember being with her. After coming to terms with the revelation of his impeding fatherhood, he mans up and makes the effort to get to know Delaney, quickly realising how stupid he had been and how much Delaney makes him want to be a better man. When disaster after disaster strikes though will Delaney and Jay’s fledgling relationship survive.. will they?
I enjoyed this one, I did think the relationship moved super quick but I didn’t mind, it was just noticeable. I’m looking forward to the next one now and I give Redlight 5 stars.
