Redemption: A Rockstar Romance is the second book in The Rock Legend Series. Savage Saban/Brody Kent and Skylar Samuelson are characters that work together to heal each other and have a grounded relationship. They also have to face the challenges of touring life, family issues, and the past coming back to haunt them. The storyline is well written, with redemption, healing, and love, along with danger, suspense, and intrigue.
I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
This is the first time I’ve read anything by this author, it’s the continuation of book 1 and the story of Skylar and Brody, despite not reading book 1 I was able to follow and enjoy this book. I thought the plot was great and loved everything about this story. The characters are interesting and I love the mystery and suspense that is in the story.

An Improvement Over Book One. A Patient And Accepting Love Finds Broken Rock Legend Brody And Young Pop Singer Skylar!
This book is book two of The Rock Legends series. Book one, Savage, is the beginning of Brody and Sky’s story. The third book, Revival, is a stand-alone but follows Dylan and Alyssa’s story, who meet here in book two. Their story picks up where this story ends.
Brody Kent, twenty-nine, is finally pulling out of the darkness that has consumed him even throughout his five years of recovery. His identity as the former frontman of rock group The Savages, known publicly as Savage Saban, was finally discovered at the tail end of Sky’s European tour. He can’t hide anymore.
For Brody, each day with Sky uplifts him. Heals him. Being with her feels natural. He is finally happy again. In just a few months, his love for Sklyar eclipses anything he felt before. They share a healthy love, unlike the co-dependence that tainted his love with Kim. He knows he needs to let go.
Skylar Samuelson, twenty-one, is completely in love. Brody Kent took her breath away when he walked in to interview for the position as her personal assistant on her Euopean tour. One of the biggest names in the music industry, the former child star turned pop singer finally found someone that saw her for who she really was. With Brody’s support, she has taken more control of her career as she works to transition to an older audience. When her mother refused to stop interfering, she fired her as her manager and asked Brody to take on that role, too. She trusts him.
Learning that Brody is the infamous Savage Saban is a lot to take in. His talent is awe-inspiring, but the pain he caries for the role he played in his ex-girlfriend’s addiction and death is holding him back, with her and with his own love of music. She wants to see him accept who he was, and at the same time embrace the man he is today.
After just a few weeks off, the American tour begins and the couple is faced with the normal but taxing stress of the tour. Brody now manages Skylar, so he has less time to spend with her. He has also agreed to do one set with her, but doesn’t want to take the spotlight from her on her tour.
The couple continues to learn and grow on the American tour, but several things happen that threaten to pull the couple apart. Pressure from Skylar’s mother and Brody’s bandmates add to the the day-to-day stress of the tour, but it soon becomes evident that someone is stalking them and gaining access backstage. Nobody is safe until the perpetrator is identified and caught.
Brody and Sky’s love story continues to be one of patience and acceptance. They also have great chemistry. It is refreshing to read a love story in which conflicts don’t abound or feel manufactured for effect. Certainly Brody and Sky have issues, but they tackle them like adults. Their early professional successes have obviously helped them to become wise beyond their years. It is easy to root for their HEA, but here you will have to settle for HFN. Look for the next book in the series for more.
Unlike in Savage, this story includes an element of danger. I personally would have preferred the story to stick to something a bit more realistic. The mental health issues felt too convenient and manufactured. Because the tone of the love story itself is more realistic, it feels out of place and is a distraction.
This book is well-written – a big improvement from the first book in the series. The plot is somewhat predictable. I had hoped the ending would have gone in a different direction. The characters are nicely developed. The POV alternates between Body and Sky. I rate this book four stars.

Brody/Savage is moving on with his life after leaving his band and his girlfriend’s death. He is with Skylar and doing some songs with her band. Someone is doing frightening things like writing on the mirror with his dead girlfriends choice color of lipstick. Who could be doing these things and why? The trappings of fame and money can lead some people to do crazy things. Can Brody and Skylar stay together through it all?

This was a good ending to Sky and Brody’s story. Can’t wait to read Alyssa and Dylan’s.
I enjoyed this new story in the “Rock Legend” series. It’s an intense read that is nicely developed and very captivating. I could not put it down. Great characters and very intriguing plot.
I liked Brody and Sky together. That they love one another and want to make it as a couple and musically was obvious. They had good chemistry and were well written so you could sense their devotion and root for them. But this is also a story about the perils of returning to the limelight and the ways it can test as they strive for their HEA. A good continuation of their story that kept me engaged.

It was great to reconnect with characters from the first book in this series. This was incredibly intense though with the wicked selfish mother doing more damage than good to her daughter & a psycho former band member trying to ruin the reputation if not worse at the behest of said evil mother of her manager/ & sexy as sin boyfriend. It got seriously crazy for a while but the couple overcame all the struggles to conclude with me crying my eyes out at what was the most romantic proposal of all times. Gotta love rock ‘n roll stories & this was one of the best, compelling & flawlessly written. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Brody was a rock star but left when his girlfriend died. But a few years later he was talked into making a comeback and go on tour. His girlfriend Sky is a pop icon and also getting ready for her own tour. He does his first concert but someone writes on his mirror like his old girlfriend. This puts strain on his and his old band mates give him rap. This is putting a strain on his relationship as someone is trying to get to him. Will they try and figure out who’s messing with him?

I can’t believe how bad some people can’t move forward from the past that they choose to ruin other people’s lives. These two are perfect for one another, never letting anything bring them down but outsiders can’t let them be happy!

As if being a rock legend and living in the public eye isn’t scary enough Brody/Savage and Skylar aka Sky are dealing with a series of events that are pretty scary. The pop icon and rock legend are about to experience how crazy people can get when it comes to money and fame.
Sure Brody has a tragic past but his love for Sky is intense. These two may have star power but can their love stand up to those who want to tarnish it?
A really good rockstar romance and that ending was so fitting for them and got me a bit teary eyed. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
