My name is Gawain Vincent—one of twelve assassins of the Cavalieri Della Morte.Steadfast to those I claim as my brothers in arms.An experienced fighter when ordered into battle.I’m an admirer of women in any amount or position.A lover full of stamina and exceptional skills. But that is about to change.Because of her. Because of Megan. She’s scared, battered, and damaged. Rescued from circumstances … battered, and damaged.
Rescued from circumstances beyond horrifying.
The blonde girl with piercing blue eyes who I can’t refuse.
Her future survival seems destined to destroy my family.

I enjoy a good Dark read so this was a great read for me it is the tenth book in the series and I cannot wait to read the previous books in the series. This was a great little read with a good plot with lots going on and plenty of twists and great characters you will quickly find yourself hooked I was.
I’m loving these Cavalieri men!!
Megan Ragnell, is taken on the way home from a night out. Kept and abused for two years until her knight in shining armour rescues her.
Gawain Vincent, a skilled fighter and assassin for the Cavalieri but he has a soft side too. When he is asked to go and retrieve a girl, he does just that. He’s the best for the job.
Megan only sees men as monsters, who take what they want and break it. Gawain is different, he can help her – if she’ll let him.
Fantastically dark and fast paced. I loved Megan and Gawain’s suspensful story. Definitely go grab this one!
Wow!! Anna another brillant dark book I absolutely loved it, I was hooked right from the start and on the edge of my seat.
It had darkness, suspense and love which kept me reading on and made me not want the book to finish.
Megan I thought was so strong to have to go through all what she had. Gawain was her rescuer which I fell for big time, especially after what he had been through too.
I found it brilliantly written and I absolutely recommend it if you like a dark read. I’m beginning to really love your dark side Anna please write more.
I totally recommend this book and this Author
This book is part of the interconnected Cavalieri Della Morte series, about a group of assassins. You can read this as a standalone and still enjoy it. This story is about Gawain, who is sent to save Megan (trigger warnings for abuse). It is an intense story. Gawain is compelled to help Megan, and this presents significant challenges which intersect with Gawain’s life. This is a basic good vs evil story told well. I read it in one sitting, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. This is the first book I have read by this author-and I will be reading more of her work.
I received a copy of this book. My honest review is voluntarily provided.
This is the latest book in the Cavalieri Della Morte shared world. There have been some tremendous books in this series, and this is just another one of them.
This story follows Gawain and Megan. Gawain is one of the Cavalieri. His boss, Arthur, has sent him out on a job to rescue a woman who has been trafficked, Megan.
I thought that Gawain was pretty perfect with Megan. He made sure that she always felt safe and did everything he could to help her feel in control of her life, which is something that she really needed. I think that he was just really patient, and not like you would really think that an assassin would be.
I think that they had great chemistry from the first moment they were together, as friends and as more.
I would love to see more of Megan and Gawain, even if it were just a short story so that we can check in on them.
This was so action packed with excitement and danger I couldn’t put it down the characters are so well written and their story sucks you right in from the first page not having to wait for the intensity of the job that Gawain is sent on that will change everything and reveal a whole lot of answers. Megan was such a strong willed character I was so proud of her with so much strength for what she had to endure was horrid in every possible way with Gawain by her side and his brothers they actually will melt your heart with their safety and compassion.
I Hate that I FLIPPING LOVE IT!
I hated it. I had to read it in sporadic spurts needing to gather my emotions and stop my trembling body as the the dark stabbing words hit with an earth shattering impact sucking every bit of life out of me turning me cold shaken gasping in shock cringing in fear. Point blank a nervous wreck and still I wanted more. A well written read that definitely plays with your emotions and ends with an enjoyable HEA that I would recommend.
The brotherhood returned again with the story of fascinating Gawain Vincent. Gawain is the nephew of Arthur Calthorpe, the head and founder of the Cavalieri Delta Morte. He is one of the best assassins in the organization that was sent to rescue Megan. The story revealed the history into Gawain traumatic childhood and the reason for his enlistment into the organization at a young age.
Megan Ragnell is an ambitious, beautiful young lady that had been through so much horrific things during her two years in captivity. Her trust and hope for freedom had waned so much that she was untrusting of Gawain motives. He becomes a pillar of strength and protection as her recovery processes. The connection between the two resulted in Gawain being in uncharted territory but he was willing to be there for her.
This story has dark obsession, mystery and love that will ultimately leave you gasping for air. A great addition to the Cavalieri Delta Morte series.

Megan and Gawain’s story started out with great promise of a dark romance, but while I enjoyed the story, I didn’t find it overly dark considering the possible triggers it contained. It did evoke a lot of emotions in me, and Megan suffered her fair share of pain and trauma. Gawain, an assassin, was ironically tasked with rescuing her. I enjoyed this but really wanted to see more darkness.
Heartbreaking and hopeful, brutal and tender, bitter and sweet. This entertaining read was powerful and gripping. Megan just broke my heart. What she had survived was truly unimaginable. Gawain was an assassin but he had a good heart and was so swoon worthy. Dark, intense, suspenseful, twisted and romantic, this haunting read had me from the very beginning.
Love Gawain, So patient and loving!
Megan, Broken but still able to love after everything!
Love Anna’s writing this was my first book by her but i am thinking i will read more.
Wow what a amazing dark read that will have you on the dark read that will have you on a steamy read of alpha male that will what the control of taking care and over protective male that will be the extra control. I am loving the story of this series. Amazing dark reads.
**3 1/2 -4 star rating**
I really really liked the storyline and plot to this book.
The twists and revelations in it were jaw dropping.
Props to Ms. Edwards for those stunners.
I liked both Gawain and Megan.
Megan brings out Gawain’s protective side.
He feels more towards her than just a rescue.
Together they start on their journey of recovery and moving forward.
But the past comes back with a bang.
A past that will intertwine both Gawain and Megan forever.
The reason for my rating was because there were a couple of what I thought were major events that we are told about. But there was no in-depth or enough details to them.
They were glossed over then forgotten.
Other than that I thought Redemption was a good book
This has been my favorite in this series so far! I loved it and really loved Gawain!
This book is good. Its the story of Gawain and Megan and how he helps her over come a nightmare, that she goes through. I love Anna, and her writing. Her books is amazing! They give you all the fills and more.
Cavalieri Della Morte is a group of 12 men, who are trained assassin’s. They are the best at what they do, but sometimes life gets in the way of it.
Redemption is about Gawain an assassin killer, and Megan a girl who has to deal with life after two years. When he gets called to do a job, he goes to find out that the job is a little more harder than he thought it will be. She will do anything to get over the past two years and have a normal, but when they realize that her past is to close to home, they have no choice but to handle it.
Received ARC for Honest Review
After Mulling over this Review, I wanted to update it to my true opinion.
I Give this book 2.5/3 Star Rating
I went in thinking this was going to be Badass DARK cause of the other books in this series, but i would put it in my Dark ‘Lite’ category. It’s Dark toned, but in the end when I finished reading this book I wasn’t really impressed.
Overall: An Ok Read.
Dark: 3/5 (Dark in the beginning. That’s what got my attention. Then…it couldn’ve been way better)
Romance: 2.5/5 (not convincing)
Smexy: 2.5/5 (inappropriately timed)
Drama: 3/5
Suspense: 3/5 (would’ve been higher, i actually didn’t see some things coming, but it was really rushed)
Female: Overall she didn’t act like an abused victim in the long run, she recovered way to quickly in my opinion to be rational and was interested in intimacy way to fast.
This book towards abuse had a ‘It happened, deal with it quickly and get over it’ vibe, that wasn’t appealing to me.
The ending was thrown together in such a rush, that I felt like I was at a tennis match.
Agreed to Keep Spoiler Free.
Would I read more from this Author? Possibly

Finally! It’s Gawain’s Story!!! Book 10 in the Cavalieri Della Morte series turns to tell the story of Assassin Gawain Vincent, Arthur Calthorpe’s nephew. If you have read all the books so far you will remember glimpses of him from the past books. While out celebrating her new job, Meghan Ragnell, is kidnapped and sold as a slave. For two years she was held captive until one day a man comes for her, an Assassin by the name of Gawain. He might be a killer but this lady’s man has a soft spot for trafficked women. Can he bring her back from the horrors she survived? This was a quick read but no less exciting. Told in dual POV
Wow this book was amazingly written. Once I started I couldn’t put it down till I was finished. This book has twists and turns you don’t know what’s happening. will they all get there happily ever after or will it all go wrong. To find out what happens go buy the book. You won’t be disappointed I wasn’t.
