The man who broke her heart… must work closely with the still devastatingly stunning but now wary Eve to redeem the situation—and hopefully himself in the process…
“…I loved it so much, Ms. Douglas has never disappointed me with one of her stories, but I think this is her best one yet that I have read…it is filled with witty banter and emotions and is sure to leave the reader very happy.”

“Miss Prim’s Greek Island Fling is a sweet and emotional romance. Author Michelle Douglas’ story telling brought the characters and the setting alive and drew me into the story as if I was really there. I caught myself smiling and tearing up! This story was full of funny dialogue and witty comebacks among all the emotional intensity.”

At first I had some trouble getting into the book, but later on I appreciated the efforts the hero made to improve his chances for a second chance to win back his first love. I began to appreciate the writing of Ms Douglas describing the feelings of Eve, not wanting to give in to her feelings towards Damon. I’m not sure I loved the book, but I immensely enjoyed reading it. This is what it’s all about: In order to win back his first love Eve Clark, after betraying her four years ago, millionair entrepeneur Damon Macy thinks he does well preventing a massive development in her beloved seaside town. That seems to be a mistake, because she supported the project. Now he has to stay and make his mistakes right again, make amends with her and as it turns out, with the town’s people too. So how can he work close to Eve, trying to redeem the situation- and hopefully himself too.
Michelle Douglas writes the most beautiful stories, with heroes and heroines who are real and so easy to get to know and love, the setting in this one is so good a beach side town on the northern New South Wales coast, Mirror Glass Bay near Byron Bay. I do hope that you will pick this one up and get to know Damon and Eve as they have a second chance at the love that was meant to be, I loved seeing such joy and happiness.
Damon Macy is a millionaire businessman, self-made but in getting to where he is today four years ago he hurt someone very badly the woman he loved Eve Clark, he has now been given the chance to make amends by saving the town she lives in Mirror Glass Bay, but maybe he got that very wrong. There is still a lot of spark between them when they meet again but Damon is not going to give up on helping this town and proving to Eve that he is sorry.
Eve Clark was working hard as a financier with Damon chasing accounts and making money and also falling in love, but he up ends her life spectacularly, Eve resigns and moves away to start a new life by the beach and is doing well working hard to save the town but when their only hope is shattered by a takeover, looks like her world in going to be up ended again by the man who she is determined to hate.
Their past ended badly but their future needs some work, some honest talking and some trust to find that love that had always been there, I loved Damon he is vulnerable after his life growing up and Eve shows such strength, she is caring and stands up for what she wants. Working together to save the town strengthens the pull between them that spark that is there that causes a few ups and downs, but makes for a very beautiful moving and sensual HEA. This is a moving and wonderful story that left me feeling fabulous after my trip to the beach with such beautiful people I loved this one. I do hope Cassidy gets her own story.
I do highly recommend this one MS Douglas has never disappointed me with her stories
Love against the odds! REDEMPTION OF THE MAVERICK MILLIONAIRE by Michelle Douglas brings us a heartfelt reunion story. The characters are endearing, and their reuniting is sweet.
Damon Macy is easy to like even though he did her wrong years ago. It’s blatantly obvious that he has so much regret for the part he played in changing her world, and he’ll do just about anything to make sure her future is protected.
Eve Clark is surprisingly happy in her new life regardless of the heartbreak she endured a few years ago. She’s hesitant to trust Damon, understandably … but watching them slowly start to reconnect is enjoyable.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a reunion after betrayal story. It’s fairly fast paced and filled with lots of turmoil and joy.
