When you hate someone so profusely in the first three books for me i just couldn’t see a way this character could be redeemed, i thought that there was no way that this character would be one that i could love by the end of his book, well did L.A cotton change my mind.
I love when an author dies this for me it just proves how fantastic they are as a writer and how they can pull you in to a story that you thought you wouldn’t like and have you questioning yourself because they made you forgive his past and you fell in love with him aswell.
Braiden was such a horrible character in the first three books of chasity falls even though at the end of one of the books could you could see his loyalty but you still weren’t sure. He had been manipulated, lied to and been molded into something that was not he truly was. Well he paid the price and 4 years later he came out a better man than i could have imagined. It may have been the help of a certain someone but in the end he became who we wanted him to be.
For a story i thought i would hate and took me a while to read i am so glad i did it was one of my favourites in this box set.
If you want a story that sucks you in from the start and never want to put down this is the book for you and series. For me it was emotional, heartbreaking, beautiful and i loved every minute of it.
A massive 5 Stars from me
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
If you have read the previous Chastity Falls series, you will know Braiden. Well, this is his story.
When I first started reading the Chastity Falls series, I really, really, really disliked Braiden, but in this book, the author has made me love him.
When Braiden is released from prison, his sister and her boyfriend are there to pick him up. He finds out that Frankie O’Connor is out to get him, so he goes into hiding at Forest Grove. While there, he meets an annoying, fiery girl by the name of Cara.
This book had me from the start to the end, and I had so much trouble putting it down.
It’s always sad to see a series you’ve been following end. I didn’t care for Braiden from the moment I met him. He was so horrible to Ana and not a good friend to Jackson. He redeemed himself in this book though. After 4 years of being in prison and completely out of the loop I’m glad he walked out of Oregon State with the desire to be a better person. I LOVED Cara. She was just this light in a dark world. She really helped define this book and helped pull Braiden in the right direction. Even though I enjoyed reading this book from Braiden’s perspective at the beginning I was so glad that we got a chance to see Cara’s side as well. I loved the epilogue. We got that last glance into Jackson and Ana. I will definitely miss reading about this group from Chastity Falls.
In love with the series of books
