Holy WOW!! My heart broke for Ryker. I cried for the 8-year-old boy he was and the broken man he had become. Ryker had carried an unbearable load for 20 years and in spite of all he had been through, he was a good and decent man. He needed someone to show him he was a worthy human being. I’m so glad he had Mona in his corner. Ana was also a lost soul but she had been raised by loving grandparents and had led a normal life. While she felt something was missing from her life, she had no idea what it was. Ana was just what Ryker needed to heal and let go of so much of his guilt.
If you enjoy books with all the feels, developed characters, an intriguing plot, enough surprises to keep you on your toes, and a wonderful romance then you don’t need to look any further. Redeeming Ryker is all that and more. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the books in The Boys of Fury series.
I loved this book. Kelly Collins pulls you in and doesn’t let you go until the very end.

Ana was just what he needed. She brought out the good in him. The development of their friendship and love was entertaining, and I loved their neighbor Mona. Ryker’s friend Nate and Ana’s friend Grace were also good characters. This is an interesting story.
Redeeming Ryker by Kelly Collins
This is the first book in the authors Boys of Fury series and I thought it so good and that I bought the second book to read. There will be some triggers for some as Ryker protected his brother when a foster father was abusive but the author wrote that part very well. Plus the town still holds a grudge for several families who were killed during a MC meeting years ago. He’ll have deal with a sheriff who blames him for his dad’s death but when he finds out who Ana really is will his past come back to haunt him?
Ana Barrett inherits a house in a town she doesn’t remember after her Gram’s passes away. She’s just one day away from eviction as jobs for graphic designers are few and far between. It’s run down and she needs to find a place to live she can afford. Her BF comes with her when she finds out she’s expecting. I loved Mona the neighbor who wanted juicy stories from the girls and Nate, Ryker’s best friend.
The story really does have redemption. Poor Ryker and Ana have known pain and hardship. Ryker’s story twisted my heart! ( I think because essentially it’s the truth for many foster children). Such wonderful characters, that you are invested to keep reading the series.
I loved it!
Why are these books from Palmer so expensive? I like her stories but am not willing to pay $7.99 for each!!
Wow, what a book!! This is the first time I read a book written by this author and I really e enjoyed it. The storyline was so relatable. Good read!!
A story of redemption for both of them, loved the characters.
Wow wow wow. Had me hooked lineament sinkered from the beginning.
I loved this storyline! Are we who we think we are? Do we live the life in a happy place or are there dark secrets of our family past? The intrigue and mystery was well written and I loved the journey these two people traveled. Their lives were filled with heartache but eventually they found a way to ease the pain and begin new lives. This is an adult read with sensual scenes.
Great Story
When you can’t change the actions of the past, lots of people died that day & kids lost parents, one of them was Ryker, he back in Fury, his brother is stationed overseas. Ana was raised by her grandparents after her parents died. She thought they died in a car accident. Now her grandma has passed and left a house in fury. History is going to get answers.
Redeeming Ryker is an amazing read. I couldn’t put it down and I found myself reading nonstop. It is well written and so many twists and turns in the plot that it kept me on the edge of my seat. This MC book has it all love, drama, tragedy, pain, heartache, bikers and men to die for. I can’t wait to read the next book in The Boys Of Fury series.
How much can sorrow can one man carry on his shoulders? That is the basis for Redeeming Ryker. I received this book as an ARC and this is my freely given honest opinion. I really felt for this young man that through none of his own choices seems to always get the worst that life has to offer happen to him. He grew up in a small Colorado mountain town one of three sons to a motorcycle club couple. His family is tragically destroyed in a shooting and it seems everyone blames the then 8 year old Ryker for this tragedy. A young woman named Ana has had her own share of tragedy in Denver. When she receives an inheritance of a home in Fury, Colorado, she heads there to restart her life. Ana upsets Ryker’s fragile peace and that is how their story begins. They have a chemistry between them that cannot be denied no matter how much they hesitate. Their lives are interwoven together and that is the basis for this moving story. There is laughter, sorrow and hope for the two of them. This is not the first Kelly Collins book that I have read and after this book, it definitely will not be the last. She has a way of connecting the reader to the characters that keeps you wanting more.
Out of tragedy came love. I really didn’t think I was going to like this book (or the series) as much as I did. The biker angle turned me off but this is not a book about a motorcycle club. It is a book about the tragedy that the mc caused and the love that blossoms from it. Ryker and Ana are opposites but kindred spirits. Although I thought the resolution of the conflict in the story came about too quickly, this was a satisfying read. The supporting cast is awesome, especially Mona. Read and enjoy!

Next to them was that pesky little girl, Sparrow. She always looked up at me like I was a movie star. She was like a sticky booger I couldn’t get off my finger.
People were pairing up now. All it took was a few drinks for a two on the sexy scale to turn into a ten.
Oh Lord, don’t tell me you’re one of those I’m going to wait until I get married types… Take it from me. Try them all out. You don’t want to open a bag of Skittles and only eat the green ones.
My Review:
I adore Kelly Collins, she has a snarky sense of humor and a clever wit, both of which shine like polished brass in Redeeming Ryker, but don’t expect this emotive tale to be a romantic comedy. Ryker has the outer shell of a bad ass, but he is a wounded little boy inside and the man was truly an altruistic and tender-hearted teddy bear under his scars and tats. The storyline was well-paced and cleverly constructed while the writing was thoughtful, sensual, and unfailingly engaging. I cherished these flawed and fractured characters and will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of Ryker’s brothers.
