Angel, sold into prostitution as a child, survives by keeping her hatred for men alive. Then she meets Michael Hosea who loves her unconditionally. Day by day, he defies Angel’s every bitter expectation until, despite her resistance, her heart begins to thaw. But with her unexpected softening come overwhelming feelings of unworthiness and fear. So Angel runs…
This is one of my favorite books. It shows what redemption is about and is a great example of God’s perfect love for us.
Wonderful retelling of a great inspirational Bible story.
The best book ever written!
Beautiful story
This is my favorite book that I have ever read. I read this book over every few years. I love that it shows the true love of Jesus. It shows how Jesus loves us even when we mess up and he accepts us back no matter how many mistakes we make.
2nd time reading. Excellent book. Maybe not for teens tho.
Beautiful story of redemption and God’s love for us despite what we have done for or against him
This is my all-time favorite read.
Absolutely wonderful! Couldn’t put the book down once I started reading it!
Fantastic read. Really thought provoking.
Loved it. Read all of the series.
One of my favorite books, I try to read this every year.
I read this book several years ago. I believe it’s one of the most beautiful love stories ever written in any book I’ve ever read. It will take you three ever emotion you have. You really feel for the character s. This book has stayed with me over years after I’ve read it. I’ve gotten as many as I could read this book because it’s just that good.
i have enjoyed Francine Rivers’ books but unfortunately this is not one of them. based on the book of Hosea, i found it confusing and rather strange in premise. just not my thing.
This is a predictable, poorly written book.
Loved it. A book I will read multiple times.
My favorite book. I loved this wonderful image of the story of Hosea and Homer in the bible. Everyone should read this book!
Can’t go wrong reading this! So much good in it I don’t know where to start! You’ll love it!
Hands down my favorite book!
The first time I started reading this I couldn’t “get into it” but my friends all recommended it so about 5 years later I tried it again. Oh my. I don’t know what stopped me the first time but this is a really gripping book. Not for the young as it is descriptive, but It tears at your heart and helps you realize how easy and how often we misjudge people. This book is not just a “good read” but a “keeper”
