This is a NOVELLA. The boys of the Evil Dead MC are out on business—the shady kind that happens in the dark of night miles from nowhere—when Red Dog gets a call from one of his club brothers. Seems Red Dog’s ol’ lady has picked tonight to take off and go drinking fifty miles from home. The fact that she waits until he’s six hours away—doing an arms deal on the California-Oregon border—to pull … California-Oregon border—to pull this stunt, doesn’t amuse him.
Just wait until he gets his hands on her.
Only problem is—that may be easier said than done.
What ensues is a game of hide-and-seek with the boys all helping their MC brother track down his ol’ lady.
Along the way, Red Dog remembers why he fell in love with his little China Doll in the first place.
And he’ll be damned if he’s going to let anything or anyone keep them apart again, not even her.

Lawd,,let me tell you! This book? I laugh and laugh nonstop, Red Dog’s old lady should’ve thought of this a long time ago, if it were me I’d leave his stupid behind but she loves his old grumpy butt, don’t know why but she does. She finally stood up and said nomore, during all of that Red Dog’s eyes has been opened and realized he can’t be the selfish man he was being to her any longer, she made him work for it, if anyone ever read this book you’ll see what I’m talking about, you will love these two even though I strongly believe they’re cray cray
Red Dog was always the big dude that contributed so much to everyone else’s story, so I was glad when it was his turn to be brought front and center.
If you’ve read the books in Nicole’s Evil Dead MC Series, you’d know that Red Dog really is a good guy who went through a rough patch with his wife, Mary. This novella provided the history between the two of them from how they first met, to some insight of why they slowly fell apart in the course of their fourteen year marriage, and of course, the road back to each other.
The best part was being able to enjoy a short visit with Cole, Wolf, Green, and Crash and all that funny brotherly banter that comes along with them. Great short and sweet story. Yes, I actually said sweet while referring to an Evil Dead MC story. But you know that only goes so far! Gah, I really wish Red Dog’s story was longer because I miss those guys so much. Then again, I’ll never really ever get enough of them. Nicole James just writes ’em too good!
A very short read, Red Dog’s wife Mary has left him and he has absolutely no idea why.
Normally when she gets mad at him he usually finds out quite quickly.
Last time she took a bat to his face and he needed dental work, yep she’s a tiny kick ass woman.
So he hunts her down and makes her tell him what he has done wrong, picture evidence of a former hook-up how he got a face full of a bat the last time but this time he didn’t do it. Club whore bitch was just trying to cause trouble. Grovelling and make-up sex later and everything to back to normal.
This is a short story about Red Dog and Mary. While he is away Mary goes out with friends and Red Dog finds out and is not happy. But when he gets home shes left him. Now it’s time for him to find her and find out what he did wrong, cause he can’t live without her.
