Oh my… things got very interesting before Jayden’s birthday party. What happened the day of was funny when what happened had Fallon running off after her son. Hooie! this was a surprise after Jason shows up at Iris’s home. Read and see how things play out and if we’ll get an HEA. I want to go back now and read the first two books of this series!
RECEIVED THIS BOOK from Netgalley AS A GIFT FOR A FAIR/HONEST REVIEW and REVIEWER FOR Bloggin’ With M. Brennan.
What happens when you find out you have a child when you donated sperm to a sperm bank before you became a famous celebrity? That is the predicament that Dane Stewart has found himself in when he decides to be tested for Iris Turner’s son to see if he is a match for a life saving treatment the little boy needs.
Iris Turner had been hurt physically by a former boyfriend that left ugly scars on the lower part of he body and when she is intimate with a man he is turned off by the ugly scars. Iris wanted to have marriage and children but because of how men reacted to her body she decided to use a sperm bank to have a child.
When Dane and Iris meet in person sparks is ignited between them but Iris feels a big name celebrating like Dane would not be interested in her and a ready made family..
I love the storyline of how you can feel and have love with someone despite any flaws and status in life. All the heart feels is the love.
The characters were well developed and you can feel their emotions that they were experiencing. At one time I found myself fussing at Iris for not seeing Dane as. Real Man and not a player. I felt the hurt and pain when Dane waited to late to let Iris know that he was indeed her son’s father and Iris found out and she went off on him thinking Dane had been using her.
This was my first time reading a book by this author. My attention was held from the beginning until the end and I didn’t want the storyline to end.
I recommend this book to read and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Thank you Netgalley for a ARC of this book and my review is of my own honest opinion.
This is such a feel-good story. You’re immediately made to feel that Dane Stewart is a bad boy, constantly getting into trouble with the tabloids, and needing some redemption. His publicist recommends he go in and see if he’s a match for a little boy who needs a bone marrow transplant. That and some pointed interviews, should help get his publicity back on track after yet another scandal involving his love life.
Iris Turner has had it hard. After a car accident left her scarred and not able to find a man would look past those scars and see the woman she truly is, she turned to artificial insemination to give her the one thing she wanted most out of life, to be a mother. Now her son Jayden is sick. He’s got a rare type of cancer and his only hope of survival is a bone marrow transplant. After a plea on the local newstation, she finds out that actor, and Sexiest Man Alive, Dane Stewart is coming in to see if he’s a match. When the two meet sparks fly, but Iris has a lot on her hands, and he’s Dane Stewart, famous actor. Iris just knows he wouldn’t be interested in her. Especially if he saw her ruined body.
Dane felt the sparks as well, Iris is so different from all the women he’s been with. She’s real, kind, and caring. When the two spend time together, the feeling explodes. The chemistry between the two is amazing. Then she finds out the truth. When Dane was just starting out in Hollywood, he sold sperm to make ends meet. Yes, through some miracle of luck, Dane is actually Jayden’s biological father.
The chemistry between Dane and Iris leaps off the pages. It’s real, it’s raw. Neither is perfect, both make their mistakes in the story, but in the end, they get their Happily Ever After. What a wonderful story!! Now, this is the third book in the series, but I never felt lost on any of the plot points. Ms. St. John has done a wonderful job and now I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
I was provided an ARC of this story by Netgalley and Harlequin and this is my honest and voluntary review.
