If there were an Olympics for liars I’d be a gold medalist, but that’s what happens when you can’t trust anyone. I’ve created a web meant to trap all my enemies, instead I’m the one that appears to be stuck. I’ve lied to my family, I’ve used my lovers, but I can’t do either to Leo.I can’t because I love him too much to hurt him that way. From the moment we met he’s given me everything I needed: … I needed: attention, kindness, understanding, and possibly the most important of all, complete pleasure.
I’ve never hidden how my bedroom life is inextricably tied to my real life. A fact that has been an unending shame to my father. But with Leo it all makes sense. There is no shame, only needs and pleasures. With him I’ve found peace for the first time in my life.
I can’t let him go, which means I have no choice but to find out who’s trying to beat me at my own game. And win.
*Reckless Love is the final book of The Reckless Duet. It completes Leo and Esme’s story.

This is a fantastic start to this duet series, and I like how it’s told from Leo’s POV. The characters are well-written and personalized, flaws and all. And the way the story itself is presented, Alexis Anne’s got a way of writing that’s classy with sensual undertones, but there are a few comedic moments. The chemistry between Leo and Esme is electric, i can’t wait to get the second book and see their romance from Esme’s POV.
A captivating conclusion story from book one, engaging chemistry with the characters. Well written book, I liked reading it. It was a pleasured to read and review it.
This is the 1st book I’ve read written by Alexis Anne; she has done a good job at writing a good book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.
I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
After the ending of Reckless Kiss, I really wanted this book so I could see what happened next and Alexis Anne did not disappoint. I enjoyed reading Esme’s point of view and her take on things and of course to see where this all ended up. The twists and turns are crazy and I know this is just the beginning of trying to figure this out. I also have to mention that the chemistry these two have (Leo and Esme) is off the charts. And as always I enjoy getting to see our friends again, Greg, Marie and Jake. I’m curious about William’s story and I just have to say that I hope in some way something comes back around and they can take Edmund down, he is definitely a bad person. #whathappensnext
This book has drama and suspense. Leo and Esme’s relationship remained strong. They really do understand each other in a way that nobody ever has. But there were some unexpected development towards the end.
