“A fiery enemies-to-lovers romance in a Hunger Games-esque background.” – USA Today bestselling author G.K. DEROSA“Magic I tell you, this story is magic.” – ELYSIAN FIELDSWhen my father, the King of Neverra, forced my hand into the Cauldron to cement a political alliance with the Farrows, I thought my night couldn’t get any worse. But lo and behold, it did. On top of being engaged to Remo … top of being engaged to Remo Farrow, the rudest fae in my kingdom, I now have to repay a bargain I struck to get out of trouble.
A bargain that sends me hurtling into a world of trouble.
A world I didn’t even know existed, unwelcoming and wicked, and forever changing; a world where my powers—all of them—fail me.
The worst part is, I don’t land in supernatural jail alone. Who should follow me through the damned portal but the bane of my existence . . . my new fiancé.
Here I was, worrying how I’d save my life, but suddenly, it’s my sanity I’m more concerned about.
The Maze Runner meets The Cruel Prince with a dash of Jumanji. Welcome back to Neverra.

Reckless Cruel Heirs is another masterpiece in Olivia’s collection of books. As a spin-off this book focuses more on the younger generation the children of our beloved characters. Younger generation books are some of my favourites as I always get so attached to the characters and never want to let them go. If Olivia decided to write about their whole lives I would eagerly devour every book! The lack of sleep I got whilst reading this story was so worth it and even if I’d wanted more sleep this book had me in its grasp and was not letting go for anything!
A lot of time has passed since Ace and Cat became Rulers of Neverah, since Lily and Kajika became an item … since Cruz Vega sacrificed himself. But the years have not dulled the threat and danger posed by the manipulative, calculating conniving Warriff, Gregor Farrow. Faith now knows what Cat did to protect her father and there is anger and animosity between the Woods and the Farrows.
Amara Wood, is sassy, terrible at reading people, fearless and hates Remo Farrow with a passion! The bully who makes her life torturous and yet must marry him to save Ace’s life. If that’s not enough she is tricked and sucked into a supernatural prison made by Gregor with the one person she hates most as her protector. And all of their powers have gone, leaving her more vulnerable than she ever has in her life and her father nowhere around to protect her.
Remo Farrow is the surprising main man who will end up with our sassy heroine. He hates the Woods and most especially Amara …. or does he? Cruel, smug, arrogant are just a few words that Amara uses to describe the head of her Lucionaga Guard. But not all is as it seems. As Remo and Amara enter a fight for survival truths are revealed, Amara’s opinions and views are questioned and thrown into doubt and the most unexpected surprises happen. Before long Amara begins to understand that she has gotten Remo wrong her entire life.
Olivia is one of the most spectacular authors I have had the pleasure to find , having the ability to get you instantly immersed and addicted to her stories and her wonderful characters. She is the most wonderful human being for including a certain scene which I won’t spoil but everyone has to read this book to find it! Tears of absolute joy cascaded down my face at that particular scene and I needed serious help detaching my jaw from the floor!
Awesome! I absolutely adored ‘Reckless Cruel Heirs’. It’s my favorite book from The Lost Clan series and Amara and Remo the couple I love most. Because of their change of attitude and wonderful evolution in this book.
This is a great paranormal/fantasy romance from enemies to lovers that got me hooked from the very start. Amara and Remo are young and quite different. She is the princess of Neverra and he is in charge of her security and protection among other things. Their relationship is not friendly at all, their bickering is constant and apparently they loathe each other. However they are forced to get engaged for mysterious reasons and that’s only the beginning.
Amara and Remo end up together in a supernatural prison that looks like an amusement park full of horrors. And with no magic to use. I loved that they are alone together for most of their journey and are forced to team up if they want to survive. They have to face several trials and dangerous tests and that’s when they start to notice and learn about each other.
Their chemistry is amazing and their interaction keeps you reading through their adventures non-stop. I enjoyed a lot how their relationship grows and evolves and how their prejudices about each other are fading off as long as their journey goes on. Great writing, as always, and wonderful characters and thrilling plot made this book a delicious reading.
I’m sad that I finished this book because I didn’t want to let go of Amara and Remo. They’ve become one of my favorite book couples and I need more of them. Their jokes, their bickering, their sweetness, their understanding, their bravery, their unexpected and powerful feelings,… Hope we can get more of them in the near future.
This book as everything I didn’t know that I wanted to have in this series. I devoured this series when I discovered it and I devoured this book but as fast.
Olivia welds her literary power to the top level with her writing int his story and you find yourself completely immersed in the story.
This book takes us into our characters futures with the next generation of Fae. They are just as addicting as their parents and just you wait to see the trouble they get themselves into. They say you learn from your parents mistakes but these royals take it to a completely new level.
I fell hard and fast for this new cast of friends. I loved that we still got to see everyone we loved and it was even more fun to see them as parents. Watching the new generation cause trouble was exhilarating. I loved that we got to see how our HEA played out from the first set of books, and with this one it open the door to so many more possible stories.
One specifically that I know you will also be dying to read once you finish this book because guys, the twists in this book are like nothing you ever see coming.
I loved the play on tropes in this and I don’t want to give anything way, but you will be just as sucked into this fantasy adventure romance as I was.
This book was wild and so full of adventure! I absolutely loved it. And this whole world that this author created! This series is a must read!
If you are new to this series or a returning fan, this story will blow your mind; seriously this story is perfection. It has everything that I look for and want in an adventure read. It has a strong feisty lady who backs down for noting and stands on her own. A strong man who not only protects and supports but also stands up for what is right, (oh and they are enemies). There is so much tension (the yummy kind) that it makes the pages fly and the slow burn actually creates a physical reaction in the reader.
The story has a futuristic feel with modern aspects all while incorporating both the human and the Fae worlds. If that is not a feat I don’t know what is, because the author does it seamlessly. I forgot while reading this story that it wasn’t real. I so want to visit, LOL. The author also does an amazing job of balancing the action, tensions banter and history. Magic I tell you, this story is magic. I will leave the rundown of the plot to other reviewers, but there is a lot to get lost in here.
If you are a returning fan then you will be happy to see all the returning characters that you love from the first four stories. if you are new, well get them as well because you are going to want to read them after devouring this story. I had the extreme pleasure of receiving this ARC and I am leaving my honest review. I also bought this in eBook for and paperback to add to my collection, trust me, you will want to also.
Definitely Reckless & Cruel But Also Scary, Heroic, Shocking & Romantic!!
Reckless Cruel Heirs (The Lost Clan #5)
Wow, this was just as breathtaking as the rest of this series!!
Princess Amara struck a bargain & the holder has called it due, she has no choice but to do what’s requested of her. Before she can do that her nemesis, Remo Farrow, takes her to the King, her beloved Iba – Dad, he informs her she’s to be betrothed! She’s furious and feels betrayed. Back at the palace he explains his reasons & swears he won’t make her marry if she agrees to go through with his plan!
After the betrothal ceremony Amara sneaks away to fulfil her bargain. She needs to find a secret portal to a prison realm that Gregor, Remo’s Grandfather, made & try to find, then free one of its inmates!! Unfortunately she discovers her fiance followed her & both of them have lost all their powers since their arrival. She doesn’t know what’s a greater threat to her life – the killer wolves, explosions, tigers & tornados or her fiance who hates her & always has!!
This was epic!! It was like being inside of a twisted, sick & cruel survival show and never knowing what was happening or what to expect next!! It was exciting but excruciating too. They were scared, running on hopes & prayers but finally working together when it all gets worse!!
This is a wonderful book and a fantastic addition to this epic series!
