Hot, steamy, hot, sexy, smoldering, sexy! Did I mention sexy? Join Kiera and Kellan on yet another ride! Ups and downs. Their relationship has been kicked up a notch. However, with this budding relationship comes drama. Would you expect anything else from these two? Throw in a record label calling the shots. A hot celebrity fawning over Kellan….. That equals a lot of heart pounding drama! There isn’t much more to say without giving away things. Everything that comes to mind would be a spoiler. I can say, I was not fond of Kiera too much in this book. Her character’s personality took a bit of a nose dive. She redeemed herself by the end of the book. But her dive made the book drag a little more than I expected. Other than that, this book was more than I anticipated. Don’t be fooled, Reckless is just that, Reckless!
What an incredible reading week I have had. I have wanted to reread this trilogy for quite some time and although I hoped I would enjoy this story as much as I have previously, I actually I think I fell even more in love with it! I feared that reading a story which for many years I have placed on a pedestal wouldn’t feel the same because in some ways my reading tastes have changed over the years. I should have never have doubted what this trilogy means to me. This is an EPIC love story that once again blew me away.
Kellan Kyle is pure perfection. Sex on a Stick, God’s gift to women and the most incredible human being that you could ever meet. His back story will break your heart. The reasons why he acted as he did prior to securing Kiera’s love, plus his resistance to understanding what he actually means to so many was so sad, and my heart constantly ached for him. He is one of the most loveable and swooniest guys we’ll come across, and the whole package that is Kellan is why so many readers love him so much!
It is this part of the trilogy where I feel Kiera shines. I have always understood the reasons for her actions, even though they were at times frustrating and hurtful. She truly is an incredibly strong person underneath her shyness and lack of self-esteem. I loved watching her mature throughout this whole story and to be honest with you, I don’t know if I could have been as selfless and understanding as Kiera during certain scenes in Reckless. Doing what she did for Kellan and the band, putting their needs before hers…. totally selfless, and I applaud her!
This journey of Kiera and Kellan’s has been one hell of a roller coaster of emotions. There have been so many highs alongside so many lows and I have cried, laughed, swooned, loved, despised, hurt and ached with the characters. There are so many incredible moments, lines, and scenes in this story that I will remember forever. All the characters have been amazing throughout and they make this story what it is. S.C. Stephens couldn’t have written this story better; it is perfect in every way!
This trilogy is so worthy of more than the five stars I am able to award it. This story has already been in my heart for a number of years now and revisiting it has been fabulous as it accentuated all my old emotions and memories. I am making a promise to myself to not leave it so long before I torture my poor heart once again.
Kellan Kyle BOOKBOYFRIEND for Life
One of the best romance series I’ve ever read
This is the third installment in SC Stephens’ Thoughtless series, and the conclusion to Kellan Kyle’s and Kiera Allen’s story.
These two are finally feeling secure in their relationship. Kiera has graduated from college, Kellan’s band-the D-Bags- are hitting it big, but while they’ve gotten “married”, that does not mean that things are going to be easy for them.
I absolutely love these two! Kellan is the ultimate book boyfriend, and Kiera has finally settled into who she was meant to be. I definitely recommend Reckless, and this entire series!!
Wow what a way to end this series! It was great to finally see where all these characters would end up. This series was awesome, intense and all-consuming. I definitely recommend this book and this series.
Great follow up story line.
