I am LOVING these hockey romances. I loved so many things about this one, the characters, the plot and the setting were just amazing. I didn’t want to put it down!
This one features Rocco and Summer. It’s always fun that the reader knows a bit about the characters from some of the other books. I’ve been looking forward to reading Rocco’s book! I loved the way family was a huge deal to him. His family even followed him from New York to Wyoming. But one thing that was a bit hard in this one was his family. His dad, especially was kind of pushy, and not in a good way.
I loved Summer! From the time she won a car beating Rocco on the ice to the very last paragraph. She’s my favorite in this book. I loved the way she goes out of her way to be with Rocco. Even when she isn’t sure if they’re even right for each other.
Summer’s and Rocco’s families are so great! I think it’d be really fun to see some of them show up in a spin off somewhere. They were both individual and just great people.
I can’t wait for more of this series! It’s my current favorite!
I was sent an e-copy of Rebound as a gift from the author. All opinions are my own.
You really can’t go wrong with these authors or their sports stories. Fast paced, clean, and well-written, I love how the teams are like families — and all the feels that come with that! I also love that each book can be read as a standalone, but still weave together.
I was given a free copy, and this is an honest review.
Fun read
My thoughts about this book:
• The beginning of this story captured my interest right away and held it until the end of the book.
• I especially liked the one on one hockey shootout between Rocco and Summer.
• I enjoyed the witty texting and banter between Rocco and Summer. Also, the texting between the Pit members was hilarious and added fun to this book. You’ll have to read the book to find out who the Pit were. The witty banter in this novel will put a smile on your face.
• This book was a clean read and I appreciated that.
• The romance between Rocco and Summer was believable and I found myself anxiously pulling for it to succeed.
• This was the third Northbrook Hockey Elite series I’ve read and I find them unique in the sports romance niche. So far, all of the hockey player’s situations were quite different making this an excellent series. I highly recommend this book.
• This book can be read as a stand-alone, but the minor characters’ personalities were presented in more detail in book one. I am glad I had read that book first for the background.
I was given an advance copy of this book. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own. I highly recommend this book to sport romance fans looking for something unique.
