“A flawlessly written, feel-good romance that will leave you satisfied and sad it’s over. Rebel Soul is LK Farlow’s best book yet!” – USA Today Bestselling Author Ella JamesWest Larson comes from old money–the kind of wealth that comes with expectations steeped in archaic traditions. So, it’s not surprising when he learns the conditions of his trust fund: produce an heir before he turns … before he turns twenty-five.
Enter Stacia Kellan. Her lowkey personality makes her the perfect baby mama…without the drama. And thanks to her wild-ass hair, colorful tattoos, and smart mouth, she’s exactly the kind of girl his parents would never approve of. Add in the fact that she’s a total smokeshow…knocking her up certainly wouldn’t be a hardship.
Stacia lives her life fast and loud. The idea of settling down isn’t on her radar. So, when her long-time friend asks her to have his baby, her immediate answer is a big, fat hell-to-the-no. Seriously, is he crazy?
West pulls out all the stops in wooing her and with every heated encounter, Stacia finds herself falling a little more for his charm and wit. Oh, and his forearms…yum.
Obligations. Lust. Friendship. Love.
The lines begin to blur as emotions enter the equation and besides, everyone knows you can’t deny your rebel soul.

When Stacia’s friend West comes to her with a ridiculous idea, she’s really thinking he’s certifiable. But somehow her gorgeous friend convinces her. And she ends up not regretting it because she’s suddenly seeing West in a whole new light. Which is right considering how they’re about to be tied to each other, permanently.
When friends to lovers is done right, it’s one of my favorite tropes, and it’s definitely done right here in Rebel Soul. West and Stacia have the kind of chemistry that only friends have first, and reading as they took that deep seated chemistry and allowed it to run away and morph into more was just all kinds of entertaining. I loved their snark and their banter, and most of all I loved how they fell in love. She’s strong and sweet and all awesome. He’s just as amazing, alpha with a big heart, and perfect for his best friend. The very best couples have a strong core to their relationship, and Stacia and West have that – which is really fitting considering how long they’ve been friends.
Overall Grade:
“I know I have no real claim to her, but I want one. I need one. I need this woman to be mine. For this body to be for my eyes, my hands, my mouth…my worship only. “
Rebel Soul, LK Farlow’s newest book, follows the story of two friends, two people, who, looking at their appearances, are very opposite. West is the CEO of his own company. He comes from wealth, and Stacia is struggling to save her family from a financial predicament. All of her money is tied up in an investigation of her father. However, given their differences in appearance, there is a keen attraction between these two and a problem. In order for West to inherit his grandmother’s estate, he must “produce an heir by the age of twenty-five” and his time is running out. Initially, he and his lawyer buddy, Colton, believe they have found a resolution to West’s issue. Unfortunately, his heart struggles to accept their solution. The more time he spends with Stacia, thrown together as roommates due to her family’s troubles, the more he wants Stacia to act as his baby-mama. Will Stacia accept West’s proposition? Or will West have to stick with his initial plan? Even more, will Stacia fall for West as he begins to fall deeper for her? Only time will tell.
This is my first LK Farlow book. I have always loved the “opposites attract” and “baby/marriage of convenience” tropes. There is tension rife within these tropes related to ideas of acceptance. I think it’s human nature to want to find acceptance and love with anyone. That idea runs as the undercurrent of Farlow’s Rebel Soul. The tension of this story lies in Stacia accepting West’s proposal, but, even more, in accepting West.
Farlow has created a heroine with such strength of character that she, oftentimes, self-sabotages the resolution to her problems due to pride. She struggles to accept help from her best friend and West. It’s easy to love her because she seeks to help her family overcome their troubles. Yet, her choices oftentimes derail her ability to move forward. In all of that, though, you can’t help but love her. She’s self-sacrificing, true to herself, and she challenges the hero, West. In fact, that is the best part of the story: their chemistry.
Farlow crafts their chemistry in such a way that it leaps off the page, and whether you agree with West’s want to procreate with Stacia, you root for it because you see their future, even when Stacia can’t. It would be simple to state that the story is unbelievable, yet Farlow constructs their coupling in such a way that it feels believable and you hope they will find their way to each other.
West represents your typical hero. He’s stalwart, at times a bit like a caveman, and quite frankly, he falls faster for Stacia, I think. For me, I like that. I love when a hero cannot help himself, and he does everything possible to win the heroine to himself. That is the case in Rebel Soul. West goes from player to dedicated baby daddy in fast form. If I struggled with anything, it was the whiplash of West’s change, but, I guess, when you know, you know. West morphs quickly into a dreamy hero with nothing but Stacia on his mind.
For my first LK Farlow book, Rebel Soul hits all of the notes. There is definitely an attraction between Stacia and West from the start, and this book takes its readers on a journey of acceptance of each other and a non-traditional arrangement. The reality is these two are made for each other, and it isn’t a stretch for them to find their happy ending. Farlow reminds us with Rebel Soul that opposites attract and find love just like the rest of us.
“Seeing her right now, though, I’m struck with a sense of rightness, like she belongs here, in my home…my bed…my heart.”
This friends to lovers story will totally pull you in from start to finish. Every last page written was truly amazing! There is so much emotion written in the words. West and Stacia will definitely make you laugh. The chemistry between these two is off the charts! I needed to have every last word. Job well done Ms. Farlow!
West will inherit his grandfather’s estate if he has a child by the time he’s twenty five. His long time friend Stacia isn’t someone he has ever consider in a romantic sense. Stacia’s family is in trouble and West may be able to help out. Stacia isn’t the commiting kind and says no to having her friend West’s baby. As time goes on the two begin to develop feelings for each other, will they end up with a baby? A sweet, steamy read that I recommend.
Stacia is going through so much since her family is having issues so she decides to go to her best friends house to get a break. West happens to be there and is dealing with family drama. Stacia’s best friend offers her to stay at West’s house, is that a good idea? Could she be the one to help him with problems?
5 REBEL SOUL STARS!! OMG….My favorite book by L.K. Farlow so far!!! I am so happy after reading this beautiful book with so many feels. West and Stacia are PERFECTION….these two have so much chemistry you feel it oozing off the pages. You definitely need to read this book….so worth your time and money.
Rebel Soul by L.K. Farlow was a bit of friends to lovers/opposites attract story between friends West Larson and Stacia Kellan. West needs to produce an heir before he is twenty-five as per the terms of his trust funds. He thinks Stacia is the perfect candidate, but she wants nothing to do it with. But she does need help. Can he convince her to be a part of his plan? I loved West. He was charming and sexy. Stacia lives for the moment. She is determined and sweet. I loved watching their story unfold and watching them fall.

Happy reading!
Ahhh this is everything I wanted it to be and more!
I have read a lot of books where either the hero or the heroine must do something, sometimes a crazy something, in order to receive their inheritance. However, I’ve never read a book where the hero must have a baby by the time he turns 25 in order to receive it and I loved every second of it! I devoured this book in just one sitting; I couldn’t read it fast enough!
West is absolutely everything I wanted him to be. He was sexy, alpha, sweet, caring, smooth, and I fell in love with him just as much, and just as quickly, as Stacia did. Stacia is incredibly strong and life threw her a giant curve ball. She will do anything to help her family and I love how stubborn she is.
I loved the relationship these two have, they go from friends to lovers to so much more! Their journey made me laugh out loud, swoon like crazy, and fall in love right along with them. While on the surface they couldn’t be more opposite, they connect on such a strong and deep level as their relationship grows and their feelings for each other become stronger.
If you love books with babies and sweet men, you have got to pick this one up!
West and Stacia are fantastic. Poor Stacia her father has been arrested for embezzlement and her mother isn’t taking it well. She feels it is her job to fix her family’s problem. First she needs somewhere to live as her home was taken. Enter her friends which include West. A little begrudgingly at first he is able to supply her with a new place to V stay. West is also in his own predicament. He needs to produce an heir in order to inherit from his grandfather and only had a year to do it. Eventually he tries to convince Stacia to be his baby mama. She doesn’t go for it and gets a second job to bring in more money. When West finds out what it is he flips out and finally realizes he might want Stacia to keep. Loved these two. Fun story with a happy ending.
This book gives all the feels!! Friends to lovers with a deal in the middle!! Both Stasia and West have crazy things happen and they turn to each other for help.
I really enjoyed their connection. LK Farlow did a great job with the story line. It was a sweet read I couldn’t put down.
I fell in love with LK Farlow’s stories many books ago and this story is a perfect example of why. It has LOTS of humor, a strong willed an independent heroine, one abso-freaking-lutely SWOONY hero, the perfect amount of steamy moments and an HEA that certainly left me with hearts in my eyes!!!
West Larson stole my heart from the very beginning and secured his spot as one of my favorite book boyfriends of ALL TIME! I loved that he was so sure of his feelings and never once wavered. Regardless of what others may have tried to say or do to sway him. He could not have been more perfect to me.
Stacia is such an amazing person that would do anything for her family and those that she loves. She is also smart, witty and gives just as good as she gets. Her banter back and forth with West throughout the story, had me laughing so hard that I would have to wipe my eyes in order to keep reading!
This is definitely a book that I would recommend adding to your TBR ASAP list. I am already looking forward to reading it again.
This author always sucks me in with these heartwarming characters, that you need to be friends with. This is the 2nd book in this series but can be read as a stand-alone. I am so in love with Stacia and Abby Jane their friendship is goal worthy, and I totally wanna hang out. (Abby Jane book is Rebel Heart).
Stacia and West go from friends to roommates to possible baby mama. This was so much fun to read the banter and one-liners between these two are spot on. I love how there was such an ease to there relationship and how they were there for one another without pressure. West so swoon-worthy, oh my goodness did he become the man with a plan and he executed it perfectly. I loved how he just really grew and wasn’t afraid to voice how he felt and took action. So in love with these characters and can’t wait to see if a certain lawyer, finds his match.
LOVED this book!!!! I had a million things to do but they all went to the wayside when I started this book!

Holy swoon alert! I was hit with so much swoon with West. But i really enjoyed this book. I loved seeing Brock, Aj, Stacia and West. The plot was so good. I love babies in books!
Oh my swoon! West Larson is my new favorite book boyfriend. The chemistry between him and Stacia practically jumps off the pages. Their similar personalities and sense of humor make them perfect for each other. I love her sass and her determination. Then the way that West is just so effortlessly thoughtful and cares for her just melts your heart. And as someone who can also spout off random movie quotes and facts like Miss Stacia, I LOVED all the movie references. Knew each and every one. Lol. This was just such a sweet and fun and sexy read. Another hit for LK for sure.

5 Stars
Heartfelt, funny, swoony, emotional, and a really feel good sweet story! Very beautifully written.
“You’re my sunrise, sunset, and everything in between. I want to love you and your rebel soul for the rest of our days until we’re old and gray, though knowing you, you’ll probably be old and purple. But that’s just another reason I love you. You’re so unapologetically you.”
Highly recommend. A must read!! Totally blown away as this is one of her best books to date!!
This story gave me all the feels
I was having mixed feelings about this book, but after sitting on it a bit, I decided to give it four stars. While the book was a little too “insta-love” for me, I really did love these characters! West and Stacia were truly meant to be together and their chemistry was off the charts! I can’t wait to go back and read about Brock and AJ soon!
