I received an ARC in return for my honest opinion. This is my first time reading this author and it won’t be my last. I loved Rebel Priest!!! The story line sucked me in. Rebel Priest is the kind of story that stays with you long after you finish reading it. It is thought provoking and fascinating. Despite being filled with turmoil and angst, the love between Bastien & Tressa was pure and pre-ordained. Their love was a beautiful gift that brought light not only to themselves but those around them. It was awe inspiring to see the lengths this couple was willing to go to for their love and others. I traveled with them on their steadfast journey for wholeness as they challenged themselves, their beliefs, and their love. Bastien and Tressa dreamed big and didn’t let fear hold them back. They trusted in God and truly had Rebel Hearts – willing to do things for the right reasons… and were Rebel Saints – saving the world one soul at a time. I highly recommend this book and author!!! It was amazing!!
This is the first book that I’ve read by this author and I absolutely loved it. I didn’t know what to expect as this is a new author for me, but wow I’m glad I read this book it was to I read it in one sitting.
Tressa finds herself homeless and ends up at the church where she used to come when she was younger only there is someone different inside. She feels lost and has no money or a job nothing.
Bastian is father Bastian, he is the priest and will help out anyone any way he can. He is a real nice, genuine, loyal sweet guy and won’t turn his back on a person looking for shelter.
When he finds out Terssa is sleeping in her car he offers her one of the church’s cottage. Also a job in the day care, he just wants to help. Only fate steps in and has other plans for these two souls.
They start to have feelings for each other, forbidden feelings and forbidden love. They know they shouldn’t but they can’t help how they feel.
From the moment they met they knew they felt that spark only father Bastian has his faith, but can he be swayed by pure temptation ?
( NO SPOILERS ) .
This book has a fabulous story line and has twists and shockers that you won’t see coming. This book will definitely hold your attention and keep you desperate for more. This book has pure passion, love, hope and faith.
I really liked this author writing style and could follow the story brilliantly. I thought the characters we’re great and seeing how they navigate there feelings there forbidden love is quite something. I will definitely recommend this book to everyone because everyone should read the Rebel Priest.
I received this ARC in a giveaway and this is my honest review.
Thank You to the author and publishers for allowing me to read a copy of this book.
This book is out now.
Rebel Priest by Adriane Leigh is quite the emotional read with a steamy heat. It’s full of feels, twists, forbidden romance, lust with a heap of sin, secrets, Father Bastien and Tressa, 2nd chance at love , passion, faith and HEA.
This story just hits all the bells. It’s a fabulous read. You have a good priest who sins by night and the woman he falls for and who falls for him….without giving much more away, the struggle with their love for each other vs their faith (church, religion) is quite the emotional rollercoaster ride. Get the tissues handy and the fans handy because there are some steamy moments between Father Bastien and Tressa.
Ms. Leigh has written an amazing story about faith, love, passion and the struggle to give into temptation. Absolutely Amazing!!!
My Rating: 4.5 stars *********
This is a great taboo romance, albeit a slow-burn one. Tressa finds herself homeless during one of the city’s worst snowstorms and finds herself on the steps of the one place that always gave her comfort as a child – St. Michael’s church. Instead of Father Martin, who she knew as a child, she finds Father Bastian who is a hot, kind Cuban man with whom she starts falling in love with after he offers her a place to stay and a job.
There are a lot of different twists to this story, and I felt at times that there were time gaps that weren’t explained… like how long was Bastian in Cuba before she found him???
Overall, it was a fantastic book from a new-to-me author that I really enjoyed!!!
I recieved an ARC for my honest review.
First time reading anything by this author. It was pretty good. I always think the concept of a woman falling in love with a priest is fascinating. I did feel like this book moved a bit slow in the beginning and to be totally honest I really felt like Tressa wast beating herself up a whole lot more than she really needed to. But then again that way of thinking may have come from her mother so I suppose it is mildly understandable. So if you like the forbidden love idea of a woman and priest you should check this one out!
Received ARC from Author for Honest Review.
I Give this Book a 3.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 3.
I had a tough time getting into the first few chapters in this book, I think it was terms/wording placements and descriptions were hard for me to visualize the story. After getting through the haze the story wasn’t that bad, but I gotta be honest I was expecting a completely different book than what the synopsis was foretelling. I was visualizing one route but I went another, though is was an ok read it ended up being a ‘same old same old – priest taboo read’.
I don’t mean it in a bad way, but I was hoping it was going to be much less predictable cause this is a very common plot.
HEA(?): Yes.
Predictability: 4/5
Taboo Scale: 1.5/5
Heat: 3.5/5
Romance: 3.5-4/5
Suspense: 3/5
Drama: 5/5
You guys … this story is amazing . I expected to read holy unholy taboo goodness but I got sooooooo much more. Forgive me Father for I have ….. changed my panties and swooned like a lunatic reading this amazing story!
The emotional journey for both Bastien and Tressa captured not just my mind, but my soul as well. I felt this story. The good, the bad, the dark, the light and everything in between. It was just glorious. My heart was happy. The style that this author uses in her writing grabs you and doesn’t let go. I felt a pull to just keep reading and not stop. I cannot sing this book’s praises higher. It was unexpected and it devoured my heart.

I cannot begin to tell you how excited I was to read this book! Rebel Priest is a very unique story with a bit of mystery, twists, and turns I did not see coming, and a sexual tension that was undeniable! It’s filled will struggles, desire, growth, hunger, passion, and a Priest I couldn’t get enough of! Bastien’s and Tressa’s journey is not always an easy one or a pretty one but it’s one I’m so glad I took the time to read! This was my first book by Adriane Leigh but it will not be my last!
This was my first book from Adriane Leigh but it won’t be the last. This was good book and I truly liked it. It kept me hooked on the story about Tressa and Father Bastien. Both of them were great characters and they were so good for each other. There was some twist I didn’t see coming and I really liked how this book ended.
This is the first book I have read from this author and I was not disappointed. I loved Bastian and Tressa’s story. Tressa is down on her luck after being evicted she find herself at church seeking warmth and runs into Father Bastian. Bastian is a helper and a healer and sees that Tressa is in need of both and offers her a place to stay and work. The more time these two are together and get to know each other there is an attraction. This was a well written story. I could feel the struggle and emotions between these two as they try to fight their forbidden love. This book was full of emotions, off the charts heat and some twists.

A sinfully, HOT, slow burn, forbidden romance. This is not my first time reading this story. I read Rebel Saint and it was missing something for me, but with the new added scenes I enjoyed this one so much better. I love a forbidden romance especially one that involves a priest. Tressa and Father Bastien story has mystery, twist and turns that I didn’t see coming. These two are hot together. I enjoyed this new updated version of their story.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!

I received an arc for an honest review. This book brings us Father Bastien and Tressa. Yes, this is very taboo, but also so, so good. There is an instant connections when Tressa and Father Bastien meet. Tressa is in need of a place to stay, and Father Bastien lets her stay in one of their extra rooms and asks her to help with the daycare needs of the church. Tressa has not had a very easy life, but once she is in the comfort of the church, she loves it. She is aware of her feeling for Father Bastien and he is trying to stay away before he sins. There is a situation that happens in the church, and suddenly Father Bastien is assigned to a different parish. Tressa and Father Bastien are apart for some time – and finally they re-connect and……that’s all you will get from me. This is such a good book and I highly recommend it.
I was looking forward to reading a good forbidden romance ~ this one delivered! Tressa & Father Bastien had an underlying chemistry that you could feel through the pages. The story was very well written, it drew me in and kept me captivated with some unexpected twists and intriguing characters.
I just finished this amazing book. This is the first and absolutely NOT the last book I read by Adriane Leigh. I was intrigued by the cover and reading the description. I loved it so much. I already miss Bastien and Tressa. I knew when I read this line, “ his lips slid into a sinful grin, giving me one salacious wink “, I was in for an incredibly naughty priest. I am really, really hoping for another book about this breath taking couple.

Love, love, loved this book!!! I totally connected withTressa in her free spirit, rebel heart. With the way Adriane wove her words there was never a way that Bastien wasn’t meant for her, and her for him. I’d never read about a priest falling in love, and admittedly was a little skeptical. But I couldn’t have been happier with the way the story unfolded! I can’t wait for Cruz and Rose’s story!

I received this ARC from the author. My thoughts and review are my own. This was a really interesting book for me to read as I went to a Catholic college where we had lots of young seminary students and priests. It made me think of their calling in a new way and how in some case many were probably conflicted in their duty and their desires. The story of Bastien and Tessa is a noble one as each of them are trying to remain true initially despite their developing feelings. I loved how this story progressed to show the evolving love and sacrifice between these two characters. I would definitely recommend this novel. This was my first book by Adriane Leigh and it will definitely not be the last.
